Soul Eater. A certain member on CAA has an obsession with this show that prompted me to start watching it. I love it!
Also, rewatching Sword Art Online with my sister who hasn't seen it.
And my other sister and I started watching Kiba. We only watched the first episode, and so far it's not really piquing our interest. But we decided not to judge it till we've watched more. First episodes can be very deceiving, I've learned.

Just finished Penguindrum, I don't even know what to say about this series. SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Nooo the boys! I am sad. (For the record, I think, in that last bit of them and the penguins, that they are now ghost boys.) I might come back with further comments when I've had some time to think. Oh, this quote was cool in a twisted way; Dr PinkHair "Let's see how many you can kill with the power of love"
Now I'll go watch Star Driver and then Utena and then my brain will really burn.

Other non-brain melting stuff I've watched:

Kyousougiga, which was colourful and a bit all over the place.

Arve Rezzle: Mechanized Fairies, one of the Anime Mirai shorts, it was interesting enough, I wouldn't mind seeing more of that world. However, I think I need to lay off the anime with dudes and their sisters for a while.

Okay, so I've been on an anime-binge lately.

Ive recently seen and finished the following.

Mystic Archives of Dantalian I rated this an 8/10. I liked the premise of the story, but I disliked the lack of background, and episodic character of the show. The ending was decent, but yeah... I still think it could have been better.
Princess Tutu Recaps Great, as usual, it was nice to have a refresher of the greatness of Tutu
Birdy the Mighty OVAs Horrible, just horrible. That's all I'm gonna say.
Hotarubi no Mori E This movie was so good, but so sad.
Shugo Chara! Party! FRUSTRATING. I can't believe I finished it.
Tonari no Kabitutsu-Kun Really great series, I enjoyed it. I hope there's more.
Kokurikozaka kara Good movie for the most part, but it definitely felt rushed towards the end.
Inu x Boku SS I hated and loved this show for a lot of reasons, but it made me cry.... So yeah, I think it was worth watching.


Also, I'm watching Macross(first season) and G Gundam(finally finishing it!) and started Card Captor Sakura.
I'm finished Aria the Animation.... But unfortunately, it's a little too slow moving for my taste, so I might not ever finish the other sequels. It's just a little too chill for me.

Trinity Blood, season 1. I think it would have worked better if "The Vatican" had been a kingdom instead of the head of the Catholic world. There were so many things theologically wrong here they made me flinch. Everything else was pretty good though, especially the relationships Ester had with Able and Ion.

Re-watching the Black Jack OVA that I started years ago when we had Animax and never got to finish. One of the few anime I'm completely comfortable with watching the dub. Also watched a lot of Library War and the first episode of Bodacious Space Pirates.

Started rewatching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for upcoming review. I forgot how great a character Winry is. And she's just so pretty!

Finished Library War, the special and the movie. Order of events most re-watched: SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Dojo handbrake turns the car into a crate and then a helicopter takes off with them as awesome music plays > DxK kiss 1 = DxK kiss 2 > Kasahara double barrel kicks a man in the guts. The music was really good and I loved the civvies clothing designs but the line art isn't as awesome as in the series. I can't work out where exactly the movie fits in with the series though, since it doesn't quite seem to be after the end.

Also watched the first Garden of Sinners movie which was interesting but a bit disjointed since we're just thrown into the story with no reason to care about any of it.

Started watching Full Moon wo Sagashite last night... Hooked only minutes into the first episode.

I polished off Aquarion and Dance in the Vampire Bund.
Vampire Bund would have been better if not for all the sexual stuff and nudity. Seriously, you didn't need to put all that in there!

Aquarion had a lot of great characters, Apollo being my absolute favorite. The merge scenes could be really corny and sappy, though.

Been watching more of "Muromi-san" from the current anime season and it's more raunchy than I expected, to the point of ruining what is otherwise an okay comedy. I mean, seriously, not gonna give details but not only are there scenes of one of the mermaids almost ripping off the breasts of another there are even worse things that make me say, "Do we really show this kind of thing on TV?" "Suggestive" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Yes, it aired in the season just past and is 1 episode away from the end. It's not very good, at least IMO.

Finished the second season of The World God Only Knows and enjoyed it even more than season 1, although I missed the s1 OP. I'm excited for s3 and thinking about checking out the manga, even though there's a fair bit of that to get through.

I will say just read the manga. From the sounds of it, they're going to skip a good chunk of material and go straight into the goddess arc (that's the title of the season, so it's a safe assumption). Firstly, that skipped material has some of the better parts in my opinion and secondly, a lot of people, myself included, consider the story to have gone downhill ever since about halfway through the goddess arc. At the very least, I say read up to where s3 begins.
