Horrifying murder in London

Postby Jingo Jaden » Wed May 22, 2013 3:50 pm

Alright so aome people might have seen this on the news, but essentially a British Soldier was butchered and then dumped near an area called Woolwich. The gruesome murder took place at around 2:20 and I have several friends from the UK who are quite upset, to put it mildly.

I ask for prayers for the soldier and their familiy, as well as those who were affected indirectly in witnessing it. I also ask that you pray that this situation will not inspire anyone to do further harm, on military personel or otherwise. As some may know I have lived quite some time in the UK and the psychological effect is quite massive. If you drink, please drink to the soldier who passed. Please also pray that the situation in itself will be remidied, as several schools have been placed in lockdown, and a least one related incident has conflicted with the police already.

Wow. Definitely praying.

I read about it this morning. A horrific tragedy indeed... I'll be praying for the soldier's family and friends, as well as wisdom for the police and government.

I'll be praying for sure.
"I believe...I want to live my life, carrying my memories with me. Even if those memories are painful, even if those memories do nothing but hurt me...Even those memories I wish I could forget...As long as I keep carrying them with me and don't run away from them. Someday...Someday, I believe I will get to the point where I'm not oppressed by those memories. That's what I want to believe. I'd like to think that there's not a single memory that I have which would be okay to forget." -Momiji Sohma - Fruits Basket
