OOC: Sorry about the wait guys, I'll try and keep up better. And haha, long post. XD

IC:

Treasa

"Good morning, your Highness." Treasa leapt lightly out of the Deku Flower, landing easily on her feet. She had woken with the sun, and had only remained in the flower so as to not disturb the Deku Queen. "What shall it be today? I heard there will be quite the party at the Casino this evening. Will your Highness prefer to join in the festivities, or would you prefer to stay in tonight, perhaps read some of that sappy poetry you seem to enjoy so."

Treasa smiled, knowing that Aine would much prefer to relax and read. The Queen knew as well as she did that her words were only in jest, meant to bring a smile to her friend's face.

Her movements quick and careful, Treasa strode over to the closet, opening the doors to reveal a wide array of brightly colored dresses, each tailored to the Queen's slim frame. "What so you think, Aine? The dark blue would go well with your light green and pink leaves." Pulling out the dress, she turned, holding it up, waiting for her friend's approval.

Nashta

"What do you think? All clear?" Nashta held her bow at the ready, an arrow already on the string. Not two streets away was a patrol of Ancients, the light reflecting off their heavy metal crossbows. Her messages were sent with quick hand signals, which only a few knew. Most of the Keatons were still learning her secret language. So far, only Alez, the Dotours, and Jim, the leader of the Bombers knew it.

Alez, who had been flying point, her glow dimmed so much that Nashta could see her outline, shook her head. Hovering right next to her ear, she whispered; "Too close, they'll see you. We'll have to find another way out."

Nashta ground her teeth together behind her Keaton mask. Instead of the simple, easy watch duty she had been expecting, she had been sent out to follow one of the Ancient patrols, to make sure they still kept to their usual routes. Unfortunately, they hadn't, and when one of the patrol turned, in the moment before being caught, she had ducked into an alleyway.

But it was a dead end.

Now the patrol was just sitting there, as if waiting for her to make a run for it. But she and Alez knew differently. This was one of the so-called 'Rouge Patrols,' one of the ones that varied from the usual route just so they could get away with sneaking some extra rations, or a smoke. Both were strictly prohibited, and most followed the rules. The members of this patrol had to be newbies, or else they wouldn't have dared try such a trick. The Ancients even spied on their own, to make sure their precious 'Order of Peace' didn't start to fall because of a few newbies.

Pursing her lips, Nashta settled in to wait. She knew that the meeting of the Keatons would begin soon, but there was no way she could make it without alerting the patrol to her presence. And even if she did manage to get away, it would be too dangerous to head straight to the meeting, even if she was late. Turning her gaze upwards, she inwardly wished that she were a better climber. Had she been, she would probably been able to climb all the way up to the rooftops, making for an easy escape.

Turning her gaze back to Alez, she motioned; "You'll have to go. They'll wonder where I am. And they need to know about this patrol." For a moment, she could see Alez waver, and made a shooing motion with her hand. She knew that without encouragement, Aleza would never leave her, but someone had to be there at the meeting.

Finally, with a brief nod, Alez lightly bumped against the cheek of her mask, and flew quickly upwards, far out of the patrols line of sight. Nashta closed her eyes and waited, her ears twitching at even the slightest sounds from the patrol.

~Aine~

Her leaves twitched slightly as Treasa joked about the late night parties. "Actually, I think it would be more fun to spike the fine water with Hylian Wine." To most, her face remained unchanged, but her mouth was turned up in the Deku equivalent of a grin. She turned as Treasa strode towards the closet. "What so you think, Aine? The dark blue would go well with your light green and pink leaves." Aine slowly pushed past her friend and ran her hands over each of the dresses in her closet, taking a look at each one. Then she turned back to her friend, and nodded with approval.

~Kafei~

He led the way down the tunnel, torch in hand. "These tunnels run under all of the city, even to the old observatory." There were only two people following him, Anju had stayed behind to tend to the Inn. Link and Romani followed in silence. Navi fluttered out of Link's hat, helping to light the way. "The other Bombers should be there, Nashta and Viola will probably show up later..." He trailed off. "Ah, here it is." He pushed a few loose bricks into the wall, and a chunk of the wall slid back like a door. He gestured towards the door. "Let's go."

Romani was nervous, more so than she had ever been. She silently followed Kafei, still in awe of the boy-no, he was a man now, she had to stop thinking of him that way- next to her. Grasshopper sure had grown. As she followed Kafei into the door, she whispered to Link, "Thank you, grasshopper-for coming to help us." It felt silly, but she was glad.

Roshca quietly viewed the door, running the lists of places, the route he would make them take. So much to do, so much risk...he hoped he could get through this safely.
"Mother, where are you?" he silently asked the ceiling. "We need you so much...where could you have gone?"

~Link~

"Thank you, grasshopper-for coming to help us." Link smiled slightly, a smile that was not missed by one fairy. She giggled to herself, then turned her attention to the Clock Tower. "Woah..." She fluttered around, running her hands over the ancient moss. "How many loops did you go through, Link?" He shrugged. "Lost count." She ran the moss through her fingers. "This moss is at least a few thousand years old." She looked around, a smile on her face. "The only place that wasn't stuck in the loop." Link received a questioning look from Kafei, which he just shrugged off.

~Hera~

She stomped down to the brig, shoved Zoe out of the way, then swung the door open. "Good morning, my Pretties." She laughed. "Sleep well? Well, you won't be sleeping anymore until we find that treasure, now." She yanked Zoe, and placed her in front of the door. "Zoe, you guard this little one, and don't hold back in case she tries something." Zoe nodded, her face like stone. "And you!" She roughly grabbed Roscha by the shoulder. "You're coming with me." She dragged him up towards the deck, then into the Captain's cabin. She roughly shoved his face up to the map. "We're here." She pointed to a spot, roughly a few miles from Great Bay Coast. "Now, where on this map would the treasure lie?"

~Jim~

Jim ducked in and out of the tunnels, he peaked out every now and again, watching the passing patrols. He opened the trap door, only to spot a darkened fairy flying through the alley ways. He cooed like an owl, hoping She would notice.

OOC: And I'm late again! DX Sorry guys.

IC:

Treasa

Treasa's own mouth twitched up in a grin. Trust Aine to come up with some sort of prank, even when she was being the great and noble Deku Queen. Treasa ushered her friend into the bath, and, making sure the bath was hidden behind a screen covered in intricate vines, answered the knock at the door. On the other side, her brother, Ellar waited.

Bowing low, he asked, "And what shall Her Highness like for breakfast this morning?"

"Sprouts, mixed with Rachi herbs, and some Gaichi soup." Was Treasa's reply. After glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she quickly grabbed the other Deku in a tight hug. "You sproutlet! What are you thinking, coming up here?" she hissed.

Ellar wriggled his way out of her grasp. "I was sent to ask what the Queen's order is for her royal breakfast on this fine morning." he informed her stiffly. She rolled her eyes.

"If you snuck up here..." she hissed warningly.

"Of course not! I was sent up here by Master Chef Sainar." He sniffed, offended. "Honestly, one would think you didn't trust me, your own brother."

Treasa sighed. "Of course not! Not after you slipped sneezing powder into Her Highness' drink!"

Ellar's pout morphed into a grin. "Oh but come on Trea! That was hilarious, and you know it!"

"It was not, and keep your voice down!" Treasa glanced around again. "Alright, you have her order, now go! Before you get us both in trouble!" And with a push, she sent him on his way, unable to stop the small smile that crossed her face when he glanced back with that cheeky grin of his.

Shaking herself, she returned to Aine's side, and began to work soap in between her leaves.

Aleza

Alez' head snapped to her right, and she saw Jim hiding in one of the entrances to the tunnels. She had originally planned to take the route into the sewers, but this would be faster, not to mention a lot less smelly.

"Jim!" she hissed, "Has the meeting started yet?" She flew over to him, and hovered next to his ear, too agitated to land lightly on his shoulder like she normally would.

~Aine~

As Treasa worked soap into her leaves, Aine got to thinking. The Deku Casino was once an amazing Palace, which she herself had lived in. But how, how did they get from Palace, to Casino? All she remembered was a business man approaching her father, and something about an offer they couldn't refuse. She huffed. Why couldn't she remember?

~Jim~

Jim placed a finger to his lips. "No, not yet. Our guest, and a few others are already there, I'm rounding up the Bombers." He swung his eyes back and forth. "Where's Nashta?"

OOC: Haha, look! First a really long post, and now a really short one! XD

Treasa

Treasa frowned as she heard Aine huff, suddenly worried. In the years since her parents had died, she has learned the hard way, that when the Deku in charge were annoyed, it was very, very bad. She quickly ran over everything that had happened so far, and could find only one possibility.

"If you wanted something else for breakfast, you could have just told me." She started to wash the soap out of Aine's leaves, making sure not to let any of the soapy water run into the Queen's eyes.

Aleza

"Couldn't make it. Details when the meeting starts. Who else do you have to round up?"

~Aine~

"If you wanted something else for breakfast, you could have just told me." Aine almost choked, trying as hard as she was to keep from laughing. "No, I'm fine with breakfast." She closed her eyes, a puff of air taken more for a sigh then a huff passed through her mouth. "It's just... How did we get to this?" She gestured to the room around her. "The Casino gives our economy the boost that we've needed, but still..." She shivered slightly. "I just feel like something's wrong."

~Jim~

He frowned, Nashta came to all the meetings, so he assumed the worst. "I've just gotta round up Rick, Jeff, and Lee. If Nashta can't make it, you better go tell Kafei what's going on."

Roshca quietly thought about this, trying to think things through carefully.
"To be honest, I'm not sure exactly where it is," he said slowly, then quickly added as Hera was clearly about to fire up, "The location of the treasure was passed down as a riddle, and we can only find it by solving it. I was about to try to solve it with my sister, when you caught us."
Riddle, now there was an idea. But he had no clue what he could say for the riddle.
"Think fast, Roshca," he mentally grimaced. "Think real fast."

OOC: Sorry, I meant to post this last night, but got sidetracked.

IC:

Treasa

"I just feel like something's wrong."

Treasa inwardly cringed. Something was wrong all right, or for the first time in history, the kitchen rumors were wrong.

Years ago, when the Ancients first showed up, the rumors had started out saying that maybe, they were criminals, and that's why they hadn't been seen in years. Then, the more they visited the king, the rumors started to revolve around this 'deal' that kept popping up. Some suggested that the Ancients were really only trying to help. Others suggested that, mixed in with the sweet words that they showered the king with, were threats. Threats directed at the-then Deku Princess.

When the king died shortly after the deal was finally struck, all the rumors agreed that there had to have been foul play. Either that, or the Royal Butler, whose family had faithfully served the Deku Royal Family for decades, had poisoned him.

Treasa knew better then to believe the Royal Butler had killed the king. After all, years ago, he had been the one to catch her stealing food from the kitchens, and who had been the one to offer her and her brothers a home. It took many long, hard months under his tutelage before he allowed them into the great Deku Palace where he faithfully served the king.

Having grown up on the streets of Clock Town, in the caves of Snowpeak, and crisscrossing the Southern Swamp, had left her with very little 'proper' knowledge on how to address even one of the Royal Guards. Not only that, but her knowledge was lacking in several other topics, such as politics, proper grammar, and even math.

Inside the palace, he had found them all jobs, either in the kitchens, working under one of the guardsmen, or simply befriending the princess, though it wasn't long before only Treasa was allowed to visit her. (Stupid Ellar, if only he hadn't angered Aine, then they wouldn't have been caught tussling and gotten in such trouble! Though he was right, if she couldn't even hold her own in a tussle with a friendly Deku, how could she possibly look after herself when she was in some real trouble?)

Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Treasa helped Aine out of the bath, and helped her dry off. "I don't see what's wrong with it. It certainly has its benefits."

Even as she smiled at the Queen, inwardly she worried. The king had somehow angered the Ancients, and been killed as a result. But she knew that to tell Her Highness this, would only cause her worry, and might even cause her to do something rash. So, like she had been doing for years now, she put a smile on her face--and lied. If Aine ever found out that Treasa had lied to her so well, for so long, she would probably lose the Queen's trust forever. So as always, Treasa silently prayed to the Four Giants that Aine never found out.

Aleza

Alez immediately knew what Jim was thinking, and landed softly on his shoulder with a sigh. "She's not dead, or hurt. But she's pinned down on the other side of the city, and couldn't make it in time. She'll probably come in halfway through the meeting just to show off. That or wait outside, patrolling."

Taking off again, she tugged on the tip of his ear, her version of a reassuring punch on the arm. "I'll go let Kafei know she'll be late, you hurry up and get the others. If you're late too, we'll start without you," she teased him, before flying down the tunnel.

~Jim~

He laughed softly as Alez flew down the tunnels and out of sight. He strolled down the tunnels, his mind on Nashta's situation. He rounded up the others, told them to run on ahead, then ran through the tunnels as fast as he could, he would check around every entrance, if one the patrols was just standing around, or wandering outside of their district, he'd find some way to get them moving the right way again.

~Aine~

Aine slipped into her blue dress, pulling it over her leaves. She smoothed the dress out, then spun around. "Hm, looks good." She smiled at Treasa. "Thanks for listening to my rambling, Treasa." She turned and stared out one of the few windows in the room. "I know I sound kind of paranoid, but still." She spun around, her smile bigger then before. "So. Breakfast time!" As she walked past Treasa, she turned and stared into her friend's eyes. "I would have beaten him you know." She laughed at her friend's surprised expression, then walked out into the hall.

OOC: Sorry about the wait guys, internet problems. It's really short, I know. :(

IC:

Aleza

"Kafei!" Alez flew up behind the violet-haired man and landed on his shoulder, panting. "We need to talk. Now." She glanced back at Romani and Link, "Alone."

Treasa

Treasa shook her head, her leaves rustling with the motion. Somehow, Aine still managed to surprise her, even after so long. She'd have to keep a closer eye on her, or her friend might find out something she was not meant to know. Letting out a sigh of amusement and relief, she followed Aine out, automatically slipping into the shadows along the hallway.

~Kafei~

"We need to talk. Now." He glanced over his shoulder at Aleza. "Alone." He nodded. "Gimme one more minute, I was handing out orders." He turned towards Romani. "I'm sending you on tunnel patrol for now, The Bombers will show you the ropes." He pulled a Keaton Mask from his bag and handed it to her. "Shane will probably be waiting for you, he'll show you around." (OOC: Clearing Romani and Roscha away for Wolfsong until he can get involved again.) Romani nodded, placed the mask on her face, then ran down the tunnel behind them. He handed a Keaton mask to Link. "This will have to do for now, until we can get that costume made, you'll have to make do." Link placed the mask on his face, nodding silently. Navi fluttered next to Link's head, staring at Aleza with a sense that something was wrong. Kafei nodded to Alez and motioned towards the tunnel Romani had run into. "She's gone to meet Shane, we can talk in one of the side tunnels." The two worked their way through the tunnel until they came across a side room. Kafei stepped in, shutting the door behind them. "Did Nashta run into some trouble?"

~Aine~

As she walked down the halls towards the dining room, she could feel her friend hiding in the shadows behind her. "So, have you seen Neruraci lately?" (OOC: Neruraci is the name I came up with for the Deku Butler.)

IC:

Aleza

"The patrol you sent us after was a group of rouges. She's pinned down almost halfway across the city." Alez landed lightly on his shoulder, frowning. "I swear Kafei, something big has to be coming up. This is the second rouge patrol we've run into in the past week! I'm really getting worried...and I don't like leaving Nashta out there without any backup, either."

Treasa

"I saw him just the other night. He was looking well. He asked about you, just like always."

OOC: Got back from seeing Phil Keaggy. WOO.

~Kafei~

Kafei growled as Aleza gave him the news. "The second in a week? For Din's sake!" Kafei threw his hands into the air. "The second?!" He slapped his hand to his face. "How on Nayru's Green Earth are we going to take care of these patrols?" He slowly pulled his hand down his face. "You saw Rick on the way here, right?" Kafei turned to the fairy. "Deliver these orders, they are to distract rouge patrols and bring them to the attention of other patrols, keep them to their districts, and out of ours."

~Aine~

She smiled sadly. "Was he visiting his son that day?"

~Link~

As Kafei ran down the halls, Link slipped the mask into his bag. "Come on, Navi." He ran down one of the many tunnels, a confused fairy flying behind him. "Link, what're you up to?" Link grinned. "It's time for the Fox to make his appearance. He ran down a long stretch of tunnel, coming to a stop at a dead end. He slipped the mask on his face, then began climbing. The tunnel put him in one of the new pathways of West ClockWork. He quickly clambered out, closing the hatch behind him. He slipped into the Curiosity shop, drawing the attention of the man inside. "Woah! You-" Link silenced him by drawing his sword. Gave yelped, Link grinned behind his mask, then raised a finger to where his lips would be. He tossed a few rupees on the counter, and a picture of the dark fingerless gloves. Gave raised an eyebrow. "Just this?" He shrugged, then procured the gloves from under his counter. He tossed them to Link, who gave him a nod, then left. Link grinned, one item down, a few more to go.

OOC: Btw, how does Link know his way around the tunnels so well?

IC:

Aleza

Alez nodded, "Okay, I will. After that, can I go back to Nashta? Because if they found her..."

Treasa

Treasa's shoulders slumped slightly. "He was." She didn't mention it was the fifth time in two weeks. Once upon a time, she remember him only going once a week, to give updates on her and her brothers. Treasa wondered if it was because they didn't see him as often. It would be just like him to go and visit his son out of loneliness.

OOC: Link is actually just picking one at random, he recognized the path through West Clocktown when he popped his head out. xDD I think Kafei should give him a map though.

~Kafei~

"Yeah, go back to Nashta, tell her to stay put. Jim and I will find her.

~Aine~

She slowly nodded. "It's been such a long time since his son has actually spoken..." She smiled sadly. "You know his son was cursed, right?"

OOC- I'm back! Sorry 'bout that. I'll just slide back in.

Romani felt nervous, considering this was her first time. "I'm sending you on tunnel patrol for now, The Bombers will show you the ropes. Shane will probably be waiting for you, he'll show you around."
"I just hope I don't do something stupid," she murmured. Her face felt a little hot behind her mask, but that was okay. She glanced around, then saw someone standing nearby, with another mask.
"Excuse me, are you Shane?" she asked quietly, also nervously but she hoped she'd managed to hide that.

Roscha could feel the pirate's impatient gaze on him as he struggled to come up with a workable riddle. "C'mon, think!" he berated himself, struggling. "There's gotta be something...it doesn't have to be archanic or anything, just useable!" Then he had an idea.
"Lets see....I believe it goes something like this..." He took a deep breath, and started.
"Look between the twin trees, not to be gained by human reach. Follow the trailing path of moonlight, till you find the place out of sight." He hoped the beavers wouldn't mind that he was pointing out their home. But they knew trouble when they saw it, and would probably get away safely. "Deep within the waters hides the anwswers you desire. Follow their guidence to find the golden glow, and all you desire shall be yours."
He inhaled deeply, quietly, hoping that would suffice.

~Shane~

"Excuse me, are you Shane?" He turned and noticed a girl, she wore a mask, but obviously had just started wearing it. "Yes, and you are...?"

~Hera~

"The Golden Glow...?" A smile slowly formed on her face. "Rumor has it there was once a luminescent sea horse who lived in these waters. The Golden Glow, how clever of them." Hera chuckled to herself as she left the room. "Hera, why are you laughing? Other then that sea horse bit, you know nothing." Hera hissed at Zoe. "Shut it, White. I know more then you think I do." She strolled off, with an over confident strut.

"I'm Romani. I'm...new." she felt really odd, but quenched the feeling, and tried to smile. Then she remembered he couldn't see it through the mask.

Roscha kept his grin to himself. Awesome! Already, they had accepted it and were even trying to make answers to it. He did hope, however, that the seahorse would stay out of sight for the next several weeks.

~Shane~

His eyebrow twitched slightly, he turned away from her. "All right then, Romani. Follow me." He took off at a slow jog down one of the many tunnels.

~Zoe~

She leaned against the door, pushing it open slightly. "You did good with the sea horse bit, kid." She leaned forward and the door swung shut.

OOC: I'm really sorry about that guys, this is what, the third or fourth time I've done this? DX I kind of hit a wall for a while there, and couldn't write anything. It's been a while since that sort of thing has happened to me, and I'm hoping it won't happen again anytime soon. Anyways, wb Wolfsong, and here's my next post.

Btw, Twister, what do the Ancients look like?

IC:

Aleza

"Okay, thanks. Oh, and one other thing," Alez placed a hand on Kafei's cheek. "Look after yourself, okay? Farore knows what Anju would do to us if anything happened to you," she teased. With a quick bump against his forehead, she flew off to find Jim.

Nashta

'Oh for Din's sake.' Nashta almost growled out loud as she waited, glancing up at the moon high above to help keep track of the time, though she could just as easily used the clocks that the city was filled with. Only the Goddess' knew why the place was filled with so many, there was at least one on every street.

Anyways, the patrol was still outside the alleyway, and if her ears weren't playing tricks on her, they had barely moved since she had followed them to this part of the city. She had been in the same position for a little over an hour, crouched behind a stack of barrels and boxes, and her thighs were screaming for a rest. But she didn't dare move, in case she made some sound that alerted the patrol to her position. So, holding in a sigh, she glanced up again at the moon, and wondered where Alez was.

Treasa

"Yes your Highness."

Treasa gulped. Oh she knew alright. Once, she had followed Neruraci when he left on one of his trips. She had had nightmares for the week after, about what it would feel like to be forcibly transformed into a tree. From the look on his son's face, it hadn't been pleasant.

OOC: The Ancients I think don't have fixed forms right now, they've taken forms of different races, like Hylian elves, dark elves, high elves, humans, etc.

~Kafei~

"Look after yourself, okay? Farore knows what Anju would do to us if anything happened to you," Kafei tried not to laugh as he thought of his wife. He could see her in a comedic rage over him stubbing his toe. As Alez flew off the hall, Link ran back down the tunnel he had gone down a half an hour earlier. He lifted his mask. "Din, Kafei, how do you guys get around town? I tried some of those different grates and I end up in alley ways!" Kafei sighed. "We've memorized a map." He picked a deku stick off the floor and began to draw in the sand covering the floor. "There, take a few minutes to memorize that." Link nodded, already absorbed in it. "So if I follow this tunnel here, I'll come out by the milk bar..." Kafei turned, his ears twitching. He was facing one of the many darkened tunnels. There was a whistle echoing down it, a shiver ran up his spine. "Din." He turned to Link, scuffing out the drawing on the floor, then tossing sand on the few torches in the room. "Hey! What was that for?" Kafei shushed the fairy, who dimmed slightly. "The Ancients have gotten suspicious of the sewer grates and preform checks on them every now and then." He shivered. "And on a rare occasion, they catch someone." Kafei could see the anger on Link's face. He slipped his mask on, but Kafei stopped him. "No, not yet. We can't show our hand when we haven't made a bet." Link was silent. "Link, honestly we can't risk using you yet." Kafei's face hardened. "But we will soon, very soon."

~Fëfalas~

Fëfalas gazed up at the bright evening moon. Memories of the years before, the demonic face that scarred the moon. He grinned to himself. "The festival is fast approaching, Oni. What will you do?"

OOC:We're kind of getting confused with the time here, it's night with Nashta, but early morning with Treasa and Aine... We should try and balance this out.

~Jim~

He continued to poke his head in and out, before one of the patrols noticed him. He ducked down into the tunnel, then whistled down the tunnel.
Come on Nash, just a little longer... Pretty soon, he noticed the familiar glow of Aleza, he clicked his tongue. "Alez."

~Aine~

"Yes your Highness." Aine could feel her friends nervousness. "I just wish..." She trailed off, she hadn't thought of Kai in a long while. She stopped in front of the dining room door. "I just wish things would have turned out different."

OOC: Haha, yeah, we should. I think we can probably fix that in the next few posts.

IC:

Aleza

"Jim!" She landed on his shoulder. "I have some orders for you and the others. He says you're supposed to distract rouges and bring them to the attention of the other patrols."

Nashta

Slowly, Nashta's eyes drifted shut, and she focused all her energy on listening. Unfortunately, her legs saw this as the perfect time to catch a break.

CRASH

"Oh Nayru," she hissed, her shoulder already beginning to ache as the boxes on top of the pile fell. She could see a barrel rolling out of the alleyway, and coming to a stop against the building on the other side of the street. Pulling an arrow out of the quiver on her back, she bolted for the entrance to the alley. Maybe, if she was quick enough, she could get away while they were still surprised.

Treasa

Treasa winced. She had heard rumors about Aine liking the young Royal Deku Butler-in-training. Perhaps she should change the subject. "The Festival of Time is coming up. Will you be joining in the festivities your Highness?"

OOC: We can have what's going on in Clocktown be in the evening and have most of the day just be the meeting, at least what was not openly discussed.

~Jim~

He nodded as Alez relayed the orders. He sent another whistle down the tunnels, this one different then before. (OOC: Imagine the hawk calling music from Twilight Princess.) Rick tore down the tunnel. "Jim, what's going on?" Jim's steeled his expression. "We need to cause a distraction, you got any left over bombs?" Rick smiled, tearing one from his pack. "Never leave home without them." Jim nodded. "We're going to blow up one of their guard houses." Rick raised an eyebrow. "Jim, didn't Kafei say-" Jim raised a hand. "I know what he said, it will be big enough to warrant attention, but not to kill or maim. You can do that, right?" Rick sighed. "I'm not a miracle worker, Jim." Jim turned to the tunnel behind him. "Just do your best."

~Rick~

He crawled under the deck of the guardhouse above him, Jim crawling beside him. The two placed the modified bombs under the building and lit their fuses. "Run." The two scrambled out and ducked into one of the grates. They ran down the tunnel, which echoed behind them. On the surface, guards scrambled to the guard house, many tried to get in and help inside, while others tried to put out the fire. "Well done Rick, now we just gotta find Nash and make sure she's safe."

~Aine~

"The Festival of Time is coming up. Will you be joining in the festivities your Highness?" Aine turned towards her friend, then smiled. "Of course!" She turned to the dining room door and opened it. Deku Butlers and maids frantically ran about with plates and placed them on the table in front of them. As Aine sat, she motioned for her friend to take the seat beside her.

Romani followed quietly, glancing about cautiously.

Roscha grinned at Zoe. "Thanks. Considering I had to come up with that on the spot, I think I did alright."

Vionna was sitting silently in the shadows, hiding behind a crate. Her mask is emotionless, her eyes and ears on alert. A familiar figure running past catches her eye. Vionna raised an eyebrow, then grinned slightly ''There's my buddy~!' she thought, then her brows furrowed in confusion. "Is.. Is she being chased?" Vionna mumbled, squinting. She looked around quickly making sure no patrols were looking and she sprinted toward Nashta with the agility of a cat, trying to stay unseen.
"Nash~" Vionna said, quiet enough to not be heard by the patrols, but loud enough for Nashta to hear. She jumped in front of her, smiling behind her mask. "C'mon," she whispers, grabbing Nashta's hand. She pulled her along, looking for a place to lay low and watch for the patrols. She glanced at her left and found the perfect spot "Aha." She whispered victoriously, darting with Nashta in the shadows in a narrow place between two buildings, but wide enough to sit. She crouched and took a deep breath "That was fun~.." Vionna softly laughed.

OOC: I've been looking for a way to get back here, and BananaLobster came up with Vionna coming to Nashta's rescue, thank you, Banana~!
"I believe...I want to live my life, carrying my memories with me. Even if those memories are painful, even if those memories do nothing but hurt me...Even those memories I wish I could forget...As long as I keep carrying them with me and don't run away from them. ~Laika~

Patrolling around Clockwork was boring, wandering was fun. The patrols kept each other in line, but Laika decided to avoid the other patrols. He and his group leaned against the walls of the buildings making up this alleyway. Laika pulled out a Goron Pipe. Malus laughed at him. "You know Lei is gonna kill you for having a pipe, right?" Laika laughed. "What she won't know won't hurt her." He lit a match, and right when he was about to light his pipe, an explosion echoed down the streets. His pipe dropped to the ground, and the match burned his finger. "Din! What was that!?" One of the minor patrols ran up to them. "Someone bombed one of the barracks! Come on!" Laika sighed, then gestured for the rest of the group to follow.

~Rick and Jim~

They poked their heads out of the grates and saw two patrols pass by. Jim strained his ears, and could hear soft laughter. He smiled to himself. "I think our
job is done, Vionna to the rescue."

~Zoe~

"Yeah, but best take some time to think about some of these, she won't be fooled by improv for long." She leaned against the wall outside, absentmindedly cleaning her scimitar.
