"Hippie music" isn't a genre, so really, what are you putting in that category? Anything that is singer/songwriter, folk, and turned-down alternative? Or is it anything that just doesn't have a sick beat that makes you wanna get crunk? Or is it music that makes you have to think about its deeper meanings that makes it "hippie"? I mean seriously, it's okay to not like a genre of music (like I think the stuff you're posting is terrible, and thus my opinion is that you, in fact, do not have a great taste in music), but at least know what the genre it is that you don't like instead up just calling random stuff "hippie". At lot of modern bands and artists that you like were probably inspired by the Doors, they're pretty important.

And as far as our petty little argument goes, I really like music, like, a lot, so it's not petty to me. I am also not a Christian, despite being on a Christian forum, so =/
Anyway, that last track gets a 6/10, I like some 8bit stuff.
