I watched the first ep of The World God Only Knows with the anime club I'm in. It's seems rather light and goofy which I like. I was a little concerned that it would have quite a bit of questionable content, since it's about a boy who plays dating sims, but it seems pretty tame from the first ep.
Heads up, I don't go on this site much these days...

Fairy Tail episodes in the 20s and 30s :) I cannot believe I did not get into this show sooner! It has nearly every good theme and aspect of Naruto plus Irish music in the fight scene! So far I have laughed almost non stop for this show :thumb: which always makes for a good experience. Cannot wait for the hundred some episodes to come, and I plan on savoring every one and taking my time with this show :n_n:

Just finished Gurren Lagann. Except for that one episode that ruined Kamina's character and some story elements. It was really entertaining with some grand battles.

Yesterday, I watched Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers, and I have to say that it didn't seem to match the canon from either the original series or E7:AO. I couldn't enjoy the stunning visuals very much because my memory kept telling me things didn't seem right. Am I alone in this?

I feel like I'm complaining about disappointments all the time, lately.

That's because the movie is an Alternate Universe story, not canon.

Let's see... watched [B]Robotics] - Unsure if like.

That's funny, I started Tegami Bachi on Wednesday. :XD: It's wonderful! Time for season 2!

Hmm... I wish they'd made some more obvious changes (e.g., coloration) to make that more obvious. Probably I didn't realize that because it's been so long since I saw the original.

Well, since it's still the same characters and world, they don't want to make it too different, either. But they definitely need clearer descriptions and blurbs to tell people right off that it's an AU.

Shin Sekai Yori 3 - FINALLY getting to the main plot! Interested to see what that assasination was all about (those without Power making their move?). Also, that digital evolving library is a great idea - a very clever way of giving it a protection from those who'd destroy it, a way to 'hide' itself in case of danger, and a way of preserving knowledge past the time where physical books would decay.

That's not AKB0048
But I do have to admit that the ending for the first season is rather open-ended and so that is why I am waiting patiently for the second season.

I just finished watching "Big Windup!" And I have to say, I was impressed! I'm not a huge fan of baseball, but this one kept me interested. If I had to fault it for anything, it would be that the whole show only focused on two baseball games...two...very...long...baseball games. I mean, it felt like this show was about 80% baseball game and 20% character development. I would have liked to had seen a bit more character development and maybe some more backstory so i could relate to the characters more. I have high praise for the dub work. Everyone in this one was perfect! Crying shame Funimation isnt picking up the 2nd Season.

In any case, the next anime on my list for official review is "Moonphase". This is gonna be interesting...

Two? I thought it was just one. I remember it as a regular story for a little while (and there might have been a quick game in that part) followed by one very, very, very long game. And that game, even though it was half the series, was not bad. It had good pacing... but i wished when i got to the end that they'd made the series longer and shown more games. Even with that, I would still recommend it, because it has a lot of neat story elements, and that long game does show some great character development, too... but, yeah... i wish it hadn't been so much of the series length.

Just finished Romeo x Juliet last night. It was very good. I watched the English dub, because it's Shakespeare. :)

Ixion Saga DT 2-3- Well, a little too much of the humor is below the belt... literally. I thought it was amusing at first, but it's coming off as too rough and mean-spirited at this point. Also, the third eisode dragged on a bit too much. I'm still finding this amusing, but I want a little more ingenuity about it.

Girls Und Pazer 2 - This is turning out to be quite a good show. No, seriously. While the art makes it look like a stupid moe-ized action show like Strike Witches, this takes a lot of care into making this a serious school life about girls in a Tankery club, fixing up the tanks and getting into their first competition, learning how to work together to create a competent tank team. I'm fairly impressed and enjoying it quite a bit.

Ouran High School Host Club

and I loved it :)
I took longer than I usually would on something I like that much, but I was watching it on Netflix with my sisters.

I then decided to go out and buy the DVD and watch the final few episodes as we're pretty well out of bandwith for the month...

But man, loved it, though, I was dissapointed
When Tamaki never ended up getting to see his mother, even though he pretty well gave up the right I still think he should have been able to see her. Also, doesn't this mean he has nothing? (even with his dad proud of him)
Finished The Wallflower. It was a bit too bishie for me, I'm afraid. With all her nosebleeds (Why? Why so many? Things got repetitive fast. :/), it's no wonder Sanako was so pale when! O.o When it came down it it, I feel like nothing developed over the course of the entire show. :( Oh well.

Also, picked up From the New World to add my list of shows for this season (which is actually getting quite crowded! Let's hope I finish them all!).

Natsume Yuujinchou ep. 7: Man that little fox boy is the cutest thing ever. Natsume's superpower is kindness.

Casshern Sins: I'm watching this quite slowly but so far it's really good. Casshern can be a bit emo, but in an endearing way, and, for the first few episodes at least, it seemed like a lot of his problems could be solved if he stopped just telling people his name willy nilly. Of course he didn't know this because
amnesia.
The last one I watched was ep. 8, which was especially lovely with the song and the battle at the end.
