Bleach...ended? 0_0
I never watched it, it didn't seem all that interesting to me, but I assumed it was one of those shonen series that would never end.

Makes me wonder what'll happen when Naruto or One Piece finally finishes...

Eh. I think its worth in finishing is highly subjective. I skipped plot arcs I didn't like or that didn't involve characters I liked. I also went back and forth between ignoring it for months, then marathoning, etc.

If you enjoy the characters enough, then sure, it's worth finishing. But there are a lot of rubbish plot arcs, and I understand that a lot of people probably won't care enough to sift through the series for parts they do like. It's immature and repetitive, but I found it fun since I liked a lot of the characters.

That's my totally unhelpful non-answer. :P

Is it even completed yet?

Anywho, Black Jack, Lucky Star, Haibane Renmei, and I should really get around to finishing Kurau: Phantom Memory as well.

You straight up deserve some sort of award. For reals.

In all seriousness, I think that endurance sets one apart as a special kind of anime fan. Clearly, not everyone is up for watching a show hundreds of episodes long, all the way to the end.

Clannad, episode 3.

And Bleach has an ending now? *he does his research* According to Wiki, this last season (season 16) was the last season of the anime. I'm not sure how true it is (since it's Wiki and all), but if it is, all I can say is WOW!

Now I want to see someone whose watched both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Not as equally horrendous as Bleach though.

Anyways, I am up to episode 8 of Maid-Sama.

I like Aria. I only don't understand the timetravel theme.

It ties into the sentimentality and appreciation and love she has for the city. It connects her to it in a way that's very special.

Watched:

Eyeshield 21: Episode 7. Pretty good, but I never thought I would see Sena be more of a man then Hiruma at some point in time.

Durarara!! Episode 3: Really good also. Very fluid animation in this episode, and we get a freaky hit on a guy which causes him to lose all his clothes all the way to his underwear. Creepy. O_O

A little more than half of Another Episode 3: Okay. This series is really starting to get creepy. I am scared because they wouldn't let me watch the rest on Crunchyroll so I had to watch it on anime freak. But seriously, it is extremley creepy.

Hmm... sounds interesting. So do you think she's the only one on Aqua, who can make this experience?

*nervously raises hand* I haven't been watching lately (filler episodes: blah), but I've seen all 220 of Naruto, and 222 of Shippuden. I plan on catching up over the summer when I have nothing to do.

That 100 or so episodes of Naruto filler was bad. I couldn't bring myself to watch them back then and that was when I still really enjoyed Naruto.

I watched that Recollections of a Certain Pilot thing -- I'd like it to have a less clumsy English title, really -- it was well-put-together. It's an unsurprising small-scale character thing with a few dogfights, which are probably best left unscrutinised beyond saying that they look nice. But I'd recommend it to anyone who thinks its premise sounds fun.

Finished Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpucho: Tou Dai Ni Maku (aka: Tokyo Majin season 2). I am very dissatisfied with the ending and annoyed at the plethora of swearing in the dub. Otherwise, however, I enjoyed it.

Ok, so this week I've pretty much put everything else on hold, as I'm hitting down on One Piece pretty hard. I had a bit of a head start as I was watching it simultaneously with the other stuff for about a week, but now I'm going full One Piece! XD

I just did a long watch and I'm now coming up on ep 100. I wonder how far I'll get before I feel One Pieced-out. lol
Talk about a marathon! XD

Yeah, I would go days on end doing nothing but watching One Piece a few years back. :dizzy: I'd eventually get tired of it and quit for a few months before I'd come back and marathon it again. But in the last couple years or so, I've just been watching a few episodes here and there. I'm not really liking how things are right now in the show but I know it'll get better soon. I'm on episode 515 I think...

While I totally don't have time for a marathon of the anime, I binged on the entire manga for a few weeks. It was awesome!

I finally finished El Cazador de la Bruja. I'd rank this series somewhere between 7 and 8: good, but not great. It was fun in parts, but there were some parts that dragged a bit -- though this may be because I was only watching it in bits and pieces, which meant I sometimes forgot recent plot developments.

All that aside, I really liked how the series ended. The final episode, while it might seem anti-climactic to some viewers, seemed to hit all the things I had liked about the series: the character interactions, the comedy, and the general sense of road-trip adventure. It was the kind of ending that makes you smile rather than cry (or say "what just happened?"), and it was nice to see that.

I'm also watching Princess Tutu; just saw episode 23. I kind of hate to see this one end. It is one of the best series I've seen so far; it's been a solid 10 throughout. Also, I have a feeling this is going to be a bittersweet ending at best, if not downright heartbreaking. (Please, no one tell me if I'm right about that! I'll be finishing it soon enough and find out for myself!)
