For the PS1, The Legend of Dragoon. That was the first RPG I ever beat, and the first that I bought. I could probably complete Dart's additions with little trouble, though I've not played it for months.

Runner up is Sly Cooper, for the PS2. That has to be most out and out fun I've ever had while playing a game. The graphics are awesome (cel-shaded), Sly has just the right amount of attitude, and the villians intelligence varies nicely from the minions to the bosses.
They have to be the worst security guards ever to walk the earth. *That barrel wasn't there the last time that I made my rounds. It's okay, though. It's not moving. I don't even need to look in as I pass as it is so obviously not a threat.*
It really needs a sequel.

Definitely the Zelda series, my favorite of which is Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for the GameBoy Color.

After that it has to be the Pokémon GameBoy series; can't tell you how many hours I put into those games...

Man, I adore GameBoy RPGs.

I can't say that i have a favorite series.

My favorite game of all-time is Final Fantasy III (VI) but overall, I'm not a huge fan of the franchise.

I've enjoyed every Zelda and Metroid game that's ever been released so I suppose those would be my faves.

NES: SMB 3
SNES: Super Metroid
N64: Goldeneye
Genesis: General Chaos (Rules!)
PSX: Chrono Cross
DC: Unreal Tournament (which is dead now, so I guess Skies of Arcadia wins by default)
PS2: MGS2
Xbox: Halo

Overall: Halo. Why? Because I ditched so many classes to play it. And it's the best multiplayer experience out there (if you can link 4 xbox's and get 4 TV's and 8+ players).

*whistles* this is hard, i love all old school games for the sheer silliness, i mean any randomly selected NES title will keep me entertained for hours. I am an rpg freak though and even then you have to split it to turn based and action. The Zeldas definately wins for action, they are just just pure fun trapped in a cartidge (or disk depending), but turn based has to go to Chrono Trigger (and shame for it being mentioned before, although a nod to Saint Kevin for picking Chrono Cross the worthy sequel with many fun accents). While i adore the final fantasys and own almost every one they can't hold a candle to the pure character, charm, and weirdness of CT. *starts chanting* Chrono...Chrono....Chrono...Chrono
I don't sleep in class i just take really long blinks :wow!:

Happy Slave Dance!

"Where's my plate?" Me, as i stare at my hand that has my plate in it

"For sin shall not have dominion over you, for ye are not under the law, but under grace"-Romans 6:14 (guess wich book I love  )

"I'm forgiven and i'm livin' with no sin on my plate"- Relient K

"No God, No Peace... Know God, Know Peace"-random note on a teacher's cabinet, really

"can i have a flamethrower pleaaaaaaaaaase"- Calvin (calvin and hobbes)

"Not a monkey!"-Fang (Dave the Barbarian, yes i watch kids shows and am proud of it, sorta  )

Yeah that Chrono series was awesome, I just loved CC though most die-hard CT fans knocked it. I love the Chrono and Suikoden series the most, both have too-die-for games and stand the test of time.

Zelda and Final Fantasy are honorable mentions, it's just FF has gotten on my nerves of late...maybe FF XII will revive my faith in the series.
