I've never known anime to taint anything just yet, but let's hope this remains family friendly. (Make it a kids anime, oh please, make it a kids anime if you dare try!)

Just because Madhouse is animating it doesn't automatically mean it's an anime.

Let me tell you, East Asia takes their Peanuts seriously.

Hearhear! I went to the website, and it didn't look like it was gonna be turned into an anime. But I guess we'll see. Still, I have faith in them. :)

I have a feeling I would be excited as well if I could find a version of it that wasn't horrific quality... :/ Looks super fun though! Will resume the hunt at a later date. Thanks for the name drop. :jump:

It is quite good. It is an anime that was created from Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There.

When I was watching the Kaleido Ruby/Phantasmoon crossover segment of Carnival Phantasm, I thought to myself, man they should animate Prisma Ilya.

And now they are.

You are doing quite well considering that this is the end of anime as we know it.

Okay... so I now offically love every single person who works for/and owns Discotek.
Samurai Pizza Cats is one of my all time favorite dubs ever! I can't believe that it's being released on dvd! (I had given up all hope on seeing much obscure shows like this ever being given the chance they deserve.) And also, the original japanese version Kyattou Ninden Teyandee, or KNT, is super cool! I've seen like five or six episodes in raw japanese, and it's seriously awesome. I can not wait to buy these.

Samurai Pizza Cats it's indeed a big surprise. I wonder if they will keep the hilarious self-parodying dub, or will just translate normally.

I sincerely hope they don't re-dub it. That would ruin the hilarious, randomness that made SPC great.
(SPC and KNT are like two different shows, so they should stay that way.)

Part of me is baffled why I like this show so much. I felt like I was high or something while watching it. :XD:

The comedy in Squid Girl is vastly predictable. But there's some good moments, though. Besides, the story, characters and pacing is quite good. So, it's still a fun show.
