What is happening in my life.

Postby Neane » Sat Dec 10, 2011 2:48 am

At this moment in time, God is revealing everything that is in my heart and showing me everything that I have committed against him and to others. He is chastising me and cleansing me of all of my sins and I am at a point in my life in which what happens now will determine not only the way my life will live out but also even the sate of my eternal life also. I need serious help. There is hope, and there is chance that I will get out of this as a new man in Christ Jesus our Lord and savior. At this moment in my life, I am not "safe" and there is a risk that I cannot put here but I need God's help and I need him to cleanse me of all my sins, to cleanse my heart, and to renew my mind. There is a lot that I have done wrong in my life and I cannot change the past no matter what. I wish that I could, but I cannot. I really need prayer that I will survive this time in my life, and if I do: Then I will be Cleansed and Clean and Perfect. I am on thin ice and I just need....help from God and from his Son and from the Holy Ghost. There is a chance that I will leave this tent during this time-period. (There is a lot that I have done wrong in my life, and even if they are small in man's eyes, in God's eyes they are mountains that I am not letting Him move.) I know He loves me because this chastising would not be happening at this moment if not. Also, this period of time (Age 18) is when all of my mother's sons and daughters turned from Him and have gone to the situations in life in which they are currently in. This is Major and if I do one thing wrong at this moment in time, I will be lost. I really, really, really need God's divine favor and his Son to help me. It all has to do with how my heart is right now. It is not because of any "Major" sin, it is Me that is causing this. There are two roads in front of me and the only one who knows the correct path is God, and if I do not go on the path he wants me to take: Then I will actually be destroyed. I enjoyed the time here, it helped me clam down reading everything. There is a presence in this Website and I thank you all for just being on this site. But at this moment in time, I am skating on no-ice at all. God is keeping me from falling into the Pit that I have dug with my heart because he knows that there is a small chance that I will not end up in a terrible situation. I ALMOST was completely and utterly destroyed tonight. (I am not talking about my body, but about my Name, about my future, and about my eternal life in Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior.) I...need...help. Again, my Life is not "safe" at this moment. I don't know what to do and I am deeply sorry for everything I have done in my life. I looked at a picture of me when I was one and I thought "What caused that sweet innocent child to end up like this?", and the answer came to me: Sin. God Really wants my heart to be 100% Clean and Holy. He is doing everything He can to do this, to save me from myself and I need help. If I do one thing wrong at this moment in time, I my life will be 100% ruined.

Again, I thank you all for the calm and refreshing spirit that I felt here when I was logged on (That is why I was logged on when I was working and doing my College Work) and I wish you all a happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I'll be praying.

This passage came to mind as I read your post. I hope it can encourage you. ._.

[quote="Romans 8:26-28"] 26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’] I think no matter what decision you make, if you keep your focus on God, things will work out for good.

I'm praying!

I love your post, it feels like your heart is desiring the Lord. If your desires are in his will, I believe he will give you what you seek. (Whether it be comfort, truth, or a confirmation of what path is right.)

Psalm 145:19
"He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them."

Psalm 37:4
"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart."

Matthew 7:8

"For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."

All I can say is what I too am currently trying to do, as I feel like I'm going through a similar spiritual war.

Love him with your all, give him your all, and never give up on seeking him.
I personally think No matter how far someone drifts back and forth from him, and no matter how long it will take us to find his path, I believe he will guide us if we let him and want him.

2 Peter 3:9
"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Now I know things are easier said then done, but, I would like to encourage you to worry not, keep your heart strong for him, and I believe you will find what you seek. With God's timing and in God's time, all things will be good.
Luke 10:25-27 Mark 12:28-34 Matthew 22 Deuteronomy 6:4-5 Deuteronomy 10:12
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

No one is perfect, but by one prayer at a time, and one step at a time, God can make our paths straight.
Proverbs 3:6 "In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight."

Loved and Blessed are you.

14 Blessed is the one who always trembles before God,
but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble. (Proverbs 28:14)

11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in. (Proverbs 3:11 & 12)

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
those who hold her fast will be blessed.(Proverbs 3:13-18)

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled. (Matthew 5:6)

8 Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.(Psalms 34:8)

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having
stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life
that the Lord has promised to those who love him.(James 1:12)

We love you, Neane.

Lifting you up, my brother.

I noticed that you keep saying you need to be perfect, and that if you do "one wrong thing," you'll be lost. I don't know if you're meaning one thing specifically, or if you're speaking in more of a general sense, and I obviously don't know the specifics of your situation.

You are right that God wants us to be holy and live holy lives. But none of us can do that on our own. There's only been one Man who ever lived a perfect, sinless life on this earth--Jesus. The rest of us are never going to live completely perfect lives as long as we're on this earth. Even the apostle Paul admitted in Romans 7 that he struggled with sin. He knew what was right and wanted to do it. But he often found himself not doing the right things he wanted to do, instead doing the wrong things that he did not want to do. And if Paul couldn't attain to perfection by what he did and didn't do, none of the rest of us can either.

So what was Paul's solution to his struggle with sin? Jesus Christ our Lord. Paul realized there is no condemnation to us who are in Christ, that the law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death, and that Jesus took care of fulfilling the requirement for righteousness in our lives by giving His life for us (see Romans 8).

Yes, we should strive to live righteous lives and resist temptation, but we need to realize that we're never going to fully live up to God's requirement of righteousness on our own. But where our own attempts at righteousness fail, God's grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is perfect in our weakness (1 Corinthians 12:9). We are not to take God's grace as a license to sin. But when we do sin (and it's inevitable that we will), we need to confess our sin to God, knowing that if we confess our sin, He is faithful & just, and He will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Then we need to go on with our lives, knowing that God has forgiven us and resting on His promises.

God never intended for our walk with Him to be something that drives us crazy; He is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). The Holy Spirit will convict us from time to time, but He'll do so in a way that's loving and correcting, not condemning. If we've accepted Christ and are truly trying to follow Him but we keep buying into thoughts of condemnation, then we likely haven't understood God's grace in the way that He intends for us to. As children of God, the voices of condemnation that enter our minds are either from the devil or maybe from our own internal feelings of guilt, but they're not from God.

I don't know if this exactly hits what you're struggling with, but it sounds like it might be along these lines. In addition to the Scriptures I mentioned, I'd recommend reading through Galatians and 1 John.

Peace to you, my brother, and hopefully this has been of some encouragement. I'll be lifting you in prayer.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)
