I just did that last time I played. That was really awesome and kind of unexpected.bigsleepj (post: 1516542) wrote:I just climbed to the very top of the Throat of the World - even higher than High Hrothgar - as part as the main quest to meet the leader of the "Greybeards", which was a really awesome moment in the story for me. I have to say this game is really great.

I click on the play button when the menu comes up and nothing really happens. The menu disappears for about a second then reappears. Anyone else got this problem?
(SPOILER!!!)
By the way Yamamaya, I agree with your thoughts on the civil war. Especially when I found that Ulfric may actually be working for the Thalmor. That tore it.

Yamamaya (post: 1519193) wrote:Okay guys, I was really impressed with the Civil War story in Skyrim. There are no easy choices in that war, neither side is fully good or evil. And there is an evil greater evil lurking in the horizon, the Thalmor.
So the question is: which side should we choose?
Yamamaya wrote:Also, who stands a better chance of fending off the Thalmor? A single nation and a weakened empire? Or one strong united Empire that has a chance of becoming great again with the Dragonborn at their side?

Peanut (post: 1529061) wrote:I ended up going with the Stormcloaks during my first playthrough for one reason. Ulfric wasn't trying to separate my head from my body...that and I was a Nord. I'm going to do it again with the Empire to see if I like it better but based off of what I've read, I won't. I want a world where I'm not kicking Balgruf out of power, Ulfric isn't dead and the conflict is resolved.
Peanut (post: 1529061) wrote: We may find out we may not, I haven't heard of any DLC resolving that plot point being announced yet but I would hope that Bethesda addresses this cause I want to crack some Thalmor skulls.
Yamamaya (post: 1530032) wrote:The next time you're in Solitude go into the Bard's college and read a book called the Wolf of Markarth. Do the Forsworn Conspiracy Quest as well. It might..change what you think about Ulfric. Namely Ulfric doesn't mind executing children one bit.
