Watched all of AnoHana over the weekend. Good anime.
Though when everyone was crying at the same time I thought it was kind of awkward...
And Yukiatsu, stroking wigs is just plain weird. I kind of like his weirdness though...yeah maybe not.
I've just finished Mahou Shojo [or is it Puella Magi?] Madoka Magica. It was... fantastic. I loved the characters, the fight scenes, pretty much everything. Especially the writing; I was stunned so many times, and I couldn't find a single flaw.

10/10.

Also, Homura is very awesome.

The witch scenes are my absolute favorite part. Fave magical girl would have to be Kyoko.
Kyubey was creepy to me from the start. P.S. Did anyone else think there was something a little off about Kyubey`s entropy theory? I guess this discussion is meant for a different thread though.... Anyways...
Mobile Suit Gundam - complete!

Wow. That was pretty much the best way they could've ended things.
I mean, a fight between Amuro and Char? Sweet. A SWORDfight between Amuro and Char? Even better.
I enjoyed the series almost completely, from start to finish - it might not have the best animation, the pacing is really, really uneven, there were a couple lame subplots near the start that didn't go anywhere *cough*Icelina*cough*, and the dub I watched was pretty rough. But the show has heart, darn it, and that's what makes it so great; it gets you to feel for these characters like very few other shows I've seen can, and for that, it's well worth the watch.

Next up to watch: GaoGaiGar (And now for something completely different, indeed.)

I liked Kyoko as well. Really, I didn't dislike any cast member (not even Kyubey, he's a good creepy person/thing). But the ones I liked the least were, interestingly enough, Mami and Madoka. XD
As for the entropy stuff, I didn't have a problem with it. It seemed a reasonable enough explanation for what he was doing, and I think I actually like it better than "Oh, well, I turn you guys into witches because it's fun and I'm evil".
And Homura is my favorite magical girl in that series.

this makes me the happiest. If you could handle the uneven pacing and monster-of-the-week business of MSG, then the things that bother people about GGG shouldn't bug you. Not to be negative towards the show, because I truly love it and it is wonderful (especially the second half), but should you hit a rough patch (many claim that some of the stuff pre episode 26 is a little hard to get through), just remind yourself that all of this is in service of getting you ready to watch Gaogaigar FINAL (the concluding OAV, aka best robot thing ever made).

Watching episode 6 of Mirai Nikki. Although I read the manga, the anime seems to execute Yuno's yandereness even more IMO.

None of that has been a problem yet - I'm up to episode 3, and I'm loving it so far. I can see some of the plot hooks - Mamoru's probably going to be the short-pantsed tagalong kid that just has to be around for the robot fights, at least until things get shaken up down the road.

Plus, that third episode? Totally awesome. So there's a giant evil train robot attacking Tokyo, but that's no problem, because they've got a cyborg-space lion-bullet train-stealth bomber-drill car giant robot defender that can take it on. But wait! Your robot defender's shield is wrecking stuff, because the meteors that the bad one's shooting at it are bouncing off of it and hitting stuff. So what do you do? You pull out your super jackhammer and use it to move the city out of the way and make an arena for your fight. Yep. And that's why I'm loving this show so far. (Also, when I grow up, I want to be that captain guy who's always talking about how courage can make anything possible that I haven't gotten the name of yet. That guy's pretty sweet.)

Taiga is the name of the chief of Three Gee. A true role model for us all.

The dividingu drivah might be my favorite GGG weapon, but there are more outrageous ones to come. And more amazing robots, guitars, galaxy-threatening monsters. More everything.

ALL of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica...and...
WHOA
I wasn't exactly expecting an ending that happy. ^_^ I love this series.

Also, this show gave me some very strange dreams. Nothing scary, just weird...

I also loved the girl's costumes, Sayaka's especially, it was really cool.

And the music, I love the music too. The first thing I thought when I heard the ED was that it sounded like Evanescence in Japanese. And the BG music was very awesome as well.
One more thing I noticed (though it isn't really a huge deal): Why call them Puella Magi when I can distinctly hear Mahou Shoujo in the conversation? They mean the exact same thing, just in different languages.
I guess that's just how the fansubbers chose to distinguish it. I really don't mind, I just found it interesting.

Well, now that it's Thanksgiving break I need another anime to watch. Perhaps Mawaru Penguindrum?

I agree 100%. The Anime is better in that regard.
Watched the 6th episode of Mirai Nikki

Also, watched 4 episodes of Mawaru Penguindrum.

Fairy Tail episode 106: That was a really intense episode.

Mawaru Penguindrum episodes 1-4: Why didn't I watch this series sooner?!

Kimba the White Lion- Was Lion King a rip-off? No. Were some scenes and ideas ripped off? Yes. Oh my goodness yes. Other than that, this movie really hasn't aged that well, with some terribly stilted dubbing and a rushed story. This ran, what, 45 minutes?

Twelve Kingdoms (complete)- I just wasn't as impressed by the last 5 episodes like I was the rest of the series. This arc could have been put somewhere else for better effect. However, saying that it didn't live up to the rest of the series doesn't mean it was bad! I still feel that this overall had some of the best characterization and world-building I have seen anywhere, and I have seen a good amount of anime. It's not a fast series, it's a deliberate one, and becoming the queen is not the end of the story- terribly true to real life. Double-dealing, betrayal, rebellion... it has it all.

To Aru Hikushi e no Tsuioku, or Recollections of a Certain Airship Pilot, or apparently officially The Princess and the Pilot. It's a movie by Madhouse and apparently written by the same guy who wrote the script for TokiKake and Summer Wars. Anyhow, it's a pretty good movie. It sticks to its thing and does it well instead of being overly ambitious in trying to shoehorn things in. It's got a fairly simple premise and executes it cleanly.

Mirai Nikki episodes 4-6 (This series is quite enjoyable and rather dark. Yuno is rather cute for a yandere, but she is still crazy.)
Fate/Zero episode 8
C3 episodes 5 and 6
Idolmaster episode 17
Moritasan wo Mukuchi(sp?)
Persona 4 the Animation episode 7 (That was one rather odd episode and maybe one of the most popular with the beginning of the episode.)

Watching DBZ Kai episode 77

Even though this version cuts out some of the cool stuff along with the filler, it's proving to be easier for me to get through than the original DBZ.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. Hoshi o Ou Kodomo was terrible because it got licensed and somehow couldn't be shown at the film festival. Well, at least I know I'll be importing a Japanese edition instead of giving that licensor any of my money.

Instead, they showed the new FMA movie, which was, well, a shounen side story movie.

I encourage you to watch DTB until the very last episode which stinks. And then unless you have a penchant for watching embarassing and pathetic moments with Hei, don't watch R2. He's just gross in that one.

Whatever happened to our beloved Electric Chinese Batman?! *cries*

But watch the OVA's...they're pretty and great character studies.
