OOC: Make up a name for his village. I'll play along. I'm coming up with some cool ideas.

"Yes, that would be an excellent idea." Adarah sent back. "The more we keep her mind fixed on revenge, the less love she will have. She must be as void of love as possible. Remember, she believes that Eruan destroyed her village. She must never learn that her own clan is responsible."

~Eruan~

"My village was named Bein Amar, the Elvish phrase for 'Beautiful Home'."
He scrunched his face in thought. "Well... My Uncle told me that his name came from one of our ancestors, a great Rider." Her looked over at Karin. "He said we came from a long line of riders. He said I looked like one in particular..." He closed his eyes. "Eragon." He opened his eyes.

~Strych~

Very well my Queen. He opened his eyes, they were still flying, like they had been for hours. "Lobinka, Mother Below says you must rest." He grinned. "She wants you fully rested for the battle ahead."

~Lobinka~

Strych landed a few minutes later, she clambered off his back and laid on the dirt. She fell into a trance like state as Strych administered the Dream Magic. Eruan betrayed you. She smiled in her trance. Yes... And now.... We shall have our vengance... Strych finished administering the drug, and let the images from his mind flow into hers.

[Ally-Ann]

Berenike watched as Eulalia gulped slightly. Eulalia...

Eulalia followed Joanne, keeping her head high and her back straight. She didn't want to seem like she was frightened; it wouldn't be good for her image.

Chrysanthe barely noticed Eulalia leave, as she was preoccupied with Aristocles.

Child, what have you done? You dare turn from Adarah? Aristocles thought to Chrysanthe. You leave me no choice.

No! Please, don't do it! There are innocent people here that I don't want to hurt! Sophia told me that you were once a gold dragon who followed her! Don't you want real love? Chrysanthe thought back. Aristocles fumed at this.

I have never followed Sophia! She is feeding you lies!

"She's not!" Chrysanthe yelled at Aristocles, standing up from where she had been sitting before running out of the inn. I don't Aristocles to take over me infront of all my new brothers and sisters! Chrysanthe thought in panic as she ran outside. Aristocles ran out of the inn as well and easily caught up to Chrysanthe. He grabbed her by the neck and pulled her to him.

"Look into my eyes, child!" Aristocles turned the writhing Chrysanthe around and held her head by her hair to face him.

Chrysanthe closed her eyes. "No!!!"

"You will look into my eyes, or so help me I will rip your limbs off your body, you hear?" Aristocles growled. Chrysanthe couldn't believe her ears. The Aristocles that had befriended her, loved her, and cared for her was now threatening her? The threat made Chrysanthe open her eyes slightly and unintentionally look at Aristocles's eyes.

I-it's over... I'm sorry, Sophia. Chrysanthe thought helplessly as she felt the world fading from her sight and hearing. Aristocles smirked.

Perfect. Now it was time to set this child's soul straight.

Ai had watched what went on between Joanne and Eulalia, and was now worried. Why Sophia...why did we gain Chrysanthe as a sister, but lose Eulalia? I don't understand! she thought.

-Shiro-
After she had eaten, Shiro went outside to sit with Len. During all excitement she hadn't been able to just spend time with him until now. Did you miss me? she asked Len. Very... her replied, nodding. Sorry...it's just that everything went by so fast... That's alright. I'm glad you came out. Me too.

Kilin watched as Aristocoles hypnotized Chrysanthe and said a silent prayer. Sophia, please forgive her for anything Aristocoles makes her do.
--Joanne--
Joanne gently grabbed Eulalia and said, "This ring is embedded with pangaxea. It is a stone that Pandora created with the blood of the angels who died fighting her when she first rebelled. She cursed their blood and turned it into stones. She uses the stones to control people who mistake them for jewelry." She then saw the scar. "So, I see." She took out her coin. "I doubt Adarah will allow you to tell me what I wish to know. I don't like using my coin for this, but you leave me no choice. I want you to look at my coin. You cannot resist its power. Focus only on the coin and my voice." she said in a soothing voice.
--Adarah--
Adarah watched in her mirror. Drat! That Joanne will ruin everything! There's no way I can influence Eulalia while she is under that spell. And there is no way she can resist its power, even if she attempts Then she saw Aristocoles. Very good, Aristocoles. Now, listen to me. Anei is here as well. She has been baptized by Joanne and renamed Shiro. I am sending a new soldier to attack the village as a distraction. While the Resistance fights them, I want you to retrieve Shiro. I also have Eulalia on our side as well. I will command her to help you.
OOC: You can have her resist if you like Eulalia, but she has to eventually fall under. Twister, can you hold off Lobinka until Joanne has finished interrogating Eulalia? I'll let you know when you can have her attack.

"Eragon!" Karin was astonished. "There's not a person alive who hasn't heard of him. He served king Yosef valiantly, but when his wife sided with Pandora and began to influence the king's decisions, Eragon broke from rank and led a rebellion."
"You must be so proud to have such a heritage." said Set. "I believe your uncle must know of Joanne's mission. I can see you have his passion."
Xavier turned to Trevor and said "Brother Eruan gave me this sword and is teaching me how to use it! Do you have a weapon, Trevor?"

His eyes widened, he knew his ancestor was a great rider, but not of that standing.
He smiled. "Yes, and Thank you."

~Strych~

He destroyed your village, he betrayed you... He took a deep breath, this last thought would take a lot of energy to put into her head. He never loved you.
He knew she would only partly understand that last memory, but as long as it was there, she would never go back. My Queen, I have finished the Dream State, what are your orders?

"Continue on your journey to Whispering Willow. When you arrive, you will be assisted by Chrysanthe. I have been informed by her dragon that she has returned to our side. I want the two of you to create a distraction so that Chrysanthe and Eulalia will be able to retrieve my sister Anei." Adarah ordered.

~Strych~

He grinned. Yes my queen. He shook Lobinka awake with his snout. Mother Below says we must fly again. Lobinka smiled, the drug was still in effect. Alright... Mmm.... She hummed. He pushed her. Lobinka, now is not the time. She nodded slowly. Alllll riiiiight... She shook her head. And clambered onto his back. He crouched down, then took flight.

"I see you've taken my nephew Xavier under your wing." said Karin. "I wonder why he wants to learn swordsmanship so much. I think you might want to know something. Don't be surprised if Joanne starts calling you her son because of this. She considers all those younger than her a son or daughter. I think she'd be pleased to, er, adopt you."
Gorry nodded. "I think you could benefit greatly from her instruction."

Eruan grinned. "I actually wouldn't mind it."

Xavier turned to Trevor and said "Brother Eruan gave me this sword and is teaching me how to use it! Do you have a weapon, Trevor?"

Trevor ruffled the back of his head. ...Yeah...It's just a bow though...

Xavier finished eating. "Daddy, can I be excused? I want to go outside and play with Shiro."
"I don't see why not. Thank the innkeeper for your breakfast." Set answered.
"Yupolga, ret." said Xavier as he handed his plate to the innkeeper. Then he hugged her and left.
"Such an energetic child." the innkeeper laughed. "He brings back memories of my own children. I miss them so."
"Yeah, he can be trying, but we love him all the same." said Karin.

[Ally-Ann]

=Aristocles and Chrysanthe=

Very well, my queen. Aristocles replied to Adarah. He then layed Chrysanthe's body on the ground. "Awaken, my child." Just like Aristocles said, Chrysanthe opened her eyes. She sat up and looked around before her eyes turned from their bright blue to a dull blue.

"What is our Dark Mother's bidding?" She asked, her voice not nearly as cheery as it had been just a minute before.

"We are to retrieve Shiro when the time is right. I will tell you when it is time." Chrysanthe nodded at this and stood up. She would feel no remorse for what Aristocles was forcing her to do.


=Eulalia=

"N-No!" Eulalia said, using all of her will power to try and resist the hypnotism. I can't let her hypnotize me! She thought. Don't look at the coin, don't look at the coin, don't look at the coin. Ignore the voice, ignore the voice, ignore the voice... This mental chanting, however was not enough, and Eulalia could feel herself slipping into an unwanted trance. She cursed quietly before felt herself go completely under the hypnosis.

--Joanne--
Joanne sighed. She was very angry, but she did her best to keep her voice is soothing as possible.
"Where did you buy the ring?" she began.
OOC: Let's make it like Eulalia overheard Raphael's argument with the merchant over the cursed weapons.
--Xavier--
Xavier saw what Aristocoles did and ran over to her. "What...What have you done to my sister?" he angrily asked. "Tell me know or I shall cut your throat! You are an evil dragon!" he unsheathed his wooden sword, not caring that he hadn't even begun his lessons yet.

~Eruan~

"Yupolga." He pushed his chair back from the table, pushed it back, then took his plate towards the kitchen. He heard a noise from outside. He quickly put the plate in the sink and ran outside. "What...What have you done to my sister?" Xavier was pointing his wooden sword at Aristocoles. "Tell me now or I shall cut your throat! You are an evil dragon!" He looked from Aristocoles to Chrysanthe. The dragon was obviously not intimidated by the boy, but Chrysanthe... It was like nothing he had ever seen. Only heard of. He put his arm out in front of Xavier. "Stay back Xavier, we don't want to hurt her." He scowled at the dragon. "He's hypnotized her."
He pulled Bedaestael from it's sheath.

~Strych~

We're here. He said, silently landing outside of town. Lobinka slid off his back, and put her bag over her shoulders. You have learned how to summon your weapons? She nodded. Good. You will need them. He lifted his snout in the air and sniffed. They're nearby. He closed his eyes. And...
His eyes shot open. Another black Dragon. Aristocoles. A smirk appeared on the Dragon's face. He turned to Lobinka. Your orders are to find the girl who's name is Anei, the name she will respond to is 'Shiro'. Lobinka shook her head. Light, what a boring name. She pulled two kunai out from her bag and ducked between two buildings.

[Lockon Stratos]

I overheard the ruckus outside, and looked sadly at my pancakes. "These guys won't even let me eat without causing mayhem." Sighing, I raced to the door, grabbed my sword on the way out and found Eruan staring Crysanthe's dragon down. "Don't tell me, let me guess. We've been fooled and he's really evil. Am I right?"

[Ally-Ann]

=Aristocles and Chrysanthe=

Aristocles overheard Brandon's comment and smirked. "Well, look who's catching on," Aristocles replied in a low, taunting voice. He then turned to Xavier and chuckled evily. "Little one, you are not nearly as strong as you need to be to fight me. I could crush your head with a simple queeze of my claw." Aristocles took a step toward Xavier, one of his front claws digging into the ground sa he did so. He smirked teasingly, his fangs showing slightly and dark gold eyes glinting, as if to dare Xavier. "Try me. I implore you to."


=Eulalia=

Though Eulalia tried one last time to stop herself from admitting where she had otten the ring, it was no use. As a response to Joanne's question, memories of the conversation she had overheard the day before came flooding back. Vague memories about hearing that the place was cursed. Vague memories about the mysterious-looking merchant that had persuaded her to take the ring for free. "From a merchant in town..." Eulalia whispered quietly, unwillingly, subconsciously.

[Twister980]

Eruan leaned forward. The tip of the sapphire blade gleaming menacingly. "Then you're ready to face 'Judgement'?" He smirked.

~Lobinka~

She slid up behind Aristocles quietly, no one had even seen him. Distract them, Anei is my target. She said telepathically to him. She slunk back into the shadows and snuck around the inn. Now where is she?

[Lockon Stratos]

"Hold on there, kid. Let the big boys take care of this." You ever fight a dragon before, shorty?

--Reika, Brylin, and Raphael--
Reika heard the commotion and saw that Xavier was involved. "Errgh!" she grumbled. "That stupid brother of mine! Very well. I vowed to nokisme that if anyone hurt my baby brother, they'd have me to answer to. It's time I lived up to that promise."
She ran outside and sent a telepathic message to Brylin. Understood, mistress. Brylin replied, and disappeared from the inn's stable. One instant later, he was beside Reika. Raphael swooped down from the window, clad in celestial armor and holding a sword and bow. Both looked as though they were burning with fire.
"How are you holding those without them burning your hands?" Reika asked.
"Our weapons are forged in the fires of Adelphi. We angels were crafted from those very same fires. They cannot injure me." Raphael explained. He looked over at Aristocoles, then at Brandon and Eruan. "I see. You ready to fight?" he asked.
"I'll do my best." Reika nodded. "I haven't had much time to learn how to use Brylin's power."
"Well, there's no better teacher than experience, my father always says." He stood between Eruan and Brandon. "Hold it! I think I'll give us a little edge first." He raised his sword into the heavens and celestial energy shot fourth from it, hitting Eruan, Xavier, and Brandon.
"Now I know we're going to win!" Xavier exclaimed.
OOC: Twister and Lockon: Don't worry about the energy. It's actually a barrier to lessen the impact of any attacks your enemies make. Just have your characters suddenly feel stronger and more confident.
--Joanne--
Joanne pryed further. "I suppose when you finally discovered the ring's nature, you attempted to take it off.That was when Adarah met you in her realm, correct? Now tell me, Eulalia, what did she offer? What could she possibly give you that I have not?"
--Gorry--
"Oh goody, sounds like a fray!" Gorry said joyfully. He ran to his room and grabbed his staff. "Wish me luck, my beauty." he said to Karin.
Karin shook her head. "Wish I could join you, but I don't want to hurt our child."
When Raphael spotted Gorry, he sent celestial energy to him as well. "The more the merrier." he said.

[Lockon Stratos]

Now, you know how when you're soaking wet, everything feels a little odd? Well when that light thing hit me, I felt exactly like that, like my body's seperated from the world by a little bit.
"Well that was weird. Anyway, I'll go first." I charged ahead, blade tip lowered towards the big brute. "You're pretty good at picking on kids, now let's see how you handle a little more even fight."

[Diamond Dragon]

-Ai-
Ai, (who had been listening at the door of the room where Eulalia and Joanne were in) started when she heard sudden commotion. Going up to the bedroom and grabbing her staff, she ran out and beheld chaos. Xavier, Eruan, Raphael and Reika were all going to fight Chrysanthe's black dragon. By the look of Chrysanthe herself, she seemed to be under a spell. Ai practically flew across the grass to join in the battle.

-Shiro-
Shiro sat up to sudden noises of battle. She looked at Len, who obviously heard it as well. Without even using telepathy, they nodded to each other, each knowing the other's thoughts. Then both flew in the direction of the commotion.

[Twister980]

Eruan felt energy surge through him, now he understood what Saphira felt like most of the time. The power made him more confident, he almost felt invulnerable. He lowered his blade, what Brandon said didn't bother him. I slashed a dragon like him through the wing, almost had the other wing too. He swung his neck around, cricking the muscles. He closed his eyes. Sophia, please watch over us in this battle. He opened his eyes.

[Ally-Ann]

Aristocles smirked and jumped into the air with great strength and agility, dodging the sword and hovering in the air. "You will need a little more strategy and speed than that, my friend," Aristocles stated arrogantly. Chrysanthe pulled out a kunai from her pouch and charged at Brandon with fierce speed and strength. She pulled another kunai out of her puch with her other hand and held it backhanded infront of her chest, while she held the other pointed to Brandon just before striking towards his head.


=Eulalia=

Eulalia's mind wandered to imaginations of a kingdom, of servants, of knights, and riches just for her. She imagined becoming a ruler and triumphing over all of the degrading things that others said about her. Proving them wrong. Savoring the irony. "To prove all of my enemies wrong. She offered me a kingdom to rule over them."

[Twister980]

Eruan swept the blade under Chrysanthe's feet. Then smacked the back of her head with the flat of the blade.

[Lockon Stratos]

"You thought I expected that to work? Wow, you ain't too bright are you? By the by, have you met Feld?" She flew in and slammed into his side. "Now that was more the plan." She proceeded to coil around him, dragging them both down to the ground.

OOC: She's a wyrm, remember that. So constriction is a serious thing with her.

--Joanne--
Joanne sighed and snapped her fingers, freeing Eulalia from her trance. She looked up to the ceiling. Sophia, forgive me for what I am about to do. Then, when she saw that Eulalia was fully out of the trance, her anger took over. She slapped Eulalia on the cheek, just enough to startle her. She had never slapped anyone before, but it was something her birth mother had done to reprimand her.
"You foolish child!" she practically yelled. "Do you realize what you have done?"
--Adarah--
Adarah saw that Eulalia was out of her trance. She only took you in out of pity and charity. she said to Eulalia. You know her past. She and her sister were shepherds' children. What could she know about nobility?
--Reika--
Reika said "Brylin, can I use lightning bolts like a weapon?" she asked.
"I don't see why not." said Brylin.
"Then give me one."
A bolt appeared in her hand. She sent it at Aristocoles.
Raphael saw Ai and placed a barrier around her body. "That'll help you out. But be careful. The dragon is not our only enemy. I sense another girl in the vicinity. Stay sharp.
OOC: Twister, have Lobinka attack Ai.

[Twister980]

~Eruan~

He jumped off the ground. Saphira, hold Chrysanthe down. She pounced on top of her, placing her paws on her arms and legs. He ran towards Aristocoles and slashed his wing.

~Lobinka~

Aristocoles could use some help right about now. She swept up behind Ai, hitting three key points on her back, effectively freezing her in place. She swept out of the sight of the Angels, and smirked. This is easier then I thought. She noticed Shiro standing in the doorway, her dragon standing next to her. She quickly jumped over the two, and hid on the roof above them. We should strike now. She heard a mental growl. Not yet, it's almost time.

Reika took aim and threw another lightning bolt at Aristocoles. "That should knock her out. I hope." she said.

[Ally-Ann]

OOC: Whoa. Uhm... lots of posts...

=Aristocles and Chrysanthe=

Aristocls dodged the first lightning bolt. "Feisty, aren't we?" He said in a low voice. Suddenly, he felt something coil around him and saw that a dragon had coiled around him and Chrysanthe before they were both dragged down to the ground. Aristocles growled. He focused his energy on shadows that were nearby, commanding them to coil around Feld. The shadows then pulled Feld off of Aristocles and Chrysanthe.

Chrysanthe was about to charge Reika before she was pounced on by Saphira. She struggled, but unfortunately, she wasn't exactly very strong. She glared.

"Get off me!" She growled.

Aristocles saw the second lightning bolt, but barely had enough time to get away from it. It grazed his right wing and he grunted, doing his best to land as gently to the ground as possible. "So that's how you wanna play, eh?" Aristocles stood up intimidatingly, ignoring the burning sensation in his wing. "Picking a fight with a sinister dragon who parctices the dark arts is a dangerous matter. I suggest you run." Long, dark stretches of shadows then shot towards Reika.


=Eulalia=

Eulalia's eyes widened slightly when she was slapped. Joanne had never down that to her before. She turned her head back to Joanne and glared. "Of course I realize what I've done. I'm actaully taking my place in this world."
