Whisper of the Heart is one of my all time favorites!
"Country road..."♪
(*doesn't know the rest of the lyrics, which basically means... All of them!*)

Watching Last Exile episodes 22 -

I just finished episode 24 and I'm waiting for 25 to load...
I hate Claus again, episode 24 was frustrating since I didn't care about the characters it focused on and that I just realized that I don't give a crap about what happens to Lavie, Claus and Alvis.
Me during episode 24: "Enough with the stupid Mad-Thane guy and the rest of those stupid ships! What's going on with Dio? What's happening to Alex? ...At least show me the Silvana!!"
*Doesn't happen* But guess what? Claus, Lavie and Alvis are reunited! Kind of. YAY! lol! *sarc* :comp: (And no, seeing the crew of Silvana for 1:30 seconds, Does. Not. Count.)
*Points at now broken computer screen*
'Well, at least Delphine is dead now... sort of.'

And, the reason I hate Claus again is because during episodes 22 and 23, all he did was act like a helpless little baby while Dio, Alex and Alvis all have a bunch of horrible stuff happen to them. I was freaking out at the screen, "Do. Something. Claus!" :bang: (My family thinks I'm a little crazy now. ;D
Here's hoping the last two episodes are much better.
(And that it focuses less on those I dislike. Maybe I'll get lucky and Tatiana will die in battle. One can only dream. =3)

8/10
(I know I sound like an angry, murderous person... but I'm not! Honest! :eh:)

Finished Last Exile.

The last two episodes were better, like I hoped. I can't say the ending was what I was expecting or what I wanted... But I guess that in the end, it made the most sense for things to go the way they did.
My two favorite characters died. That kind of stings, you know? I'm glad Alex went out with a bang though (Literally.), I'm glad he was the one who did Delphine in too. I guess my biggest problem with him dying is how his death could have easily been prevented. :shake: If only Sophia hadn't been so over zealous or if only Wina had spoken up a moment sooner... Alex might have lived. ;_; But I suppose death was a more fitting ending for his character. (I wanted him to live though.) And poor Dio! After all the cruddy things that happened to him, you'd think that at least he'd get to live! And his death... well, it sucked imo. What a horrible way to go, getting sucked into an air current all while you're half crazy. :(
I guess in the end I didn't hate Claus, and I kind of liked Lavie. I thought the part where Alvis glowed was pretty cool, even if I think she's an annoying brat who should have died instead of Alex and Dio. (The best characters!) I was glad that Mullin lived and got to marry his girl. (Can't remember how to spell her name.) I was pretty **** that Tatiana lived. (Why does everybody love her again???) The ending part that showed the Silvana and Sophia at Alex's grave made me tear up a little too. The entire ending was all a bit bitter sweet.
I really like LE, despite the couple of frustrating episodes that it had near the end, and a few of the disappointing things that happened.
I give it a solid Eight out of Ten because I loved every single episode up until 24. And 25 and 26 were good, abit a little irritating at times. :shady:

~FIN~

(Oh and sorry for the double post, I would have edited. ;D)

Currently, I'm watching "Morbito: Guardian of the Spirit". This show is beautiful all the way around; the story is intriguing, the animation is downright gorgeous, and the acting in both English and Japanese is spot-on!

Watched the First Episode of The Third: The Girl With the Blue Eye.
To give you a good idea, Think: Kino's Journey + Fallout. Just instead of a Gun, she has a sword. And instead of a talking Motorcycle, she has a Talking Tank.

Also watched: Akagi episode 1.

Chihayafuru episode 2 - I'm definitely watching this series 'til the end.

Ok I did a lot in the past day. I finished Digimon Xros Wars which was awesome. Xros Wars is now my favorite Digimon series. I honestly never thought I would give Digimon a 10 until I finished this show. It was so epic and amazing that I didn't want it to end. Thankfully I got my wish in the new series which is a direct sequel to Xros Wars.
Which leads me in to talking about Digimon Xros Wars: The Boys Hunters Who Leap Through Time or Xros Wars II which is easier to write. I watched the first two episodes and I am really liking it. I really am hoping that it surpasses Xros Wars' awesomeness. I like that Taiki is acting as a mentor like figure to Tagiru and Yuu. I like that they are not just doing Xros Wars all over again but that it is its own show. The show has kind of a Tokusatsu feel to it what with
the digimon attacking in the human world and kidnapping children
I half expected Taiki or Shoutmon to yell "Henshin!" and turn into a Rider. This is a good thing. I am really looking forward to when it crosses over with the old goggle boys coming back. That will be fun.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind- checked it out from the library a while ago, finally getting around to watching it. It's definitely one of the most intense Ghibli films. It's also quite excelent- even if it's only an adaptation of about the first volume of the manga, I feel it still manages to tell a good story. And it's waaay more uplifting than the manga.

Finished Baccano! - the best anime I've seen in a long time ^_^ It was awesome! Perfect blend of serious and silly, wonderfully convoluted storyline that still managed to make sense by the end (though now I want to rush back to the beginning and watch it all over again). Great characters, great animation, great voice acting by the wonderful people at FUNimation (I'm curious about the sub, though). Also, it was the goriest bit of animation I've seen since...um, Samurai Champloo I guess, which I watched like...four years ago?

Also: Isaac and Miria. I'd heard people talk about them before, and had no idea. Now I know

Princess Tutu episodes 18 - 21

I finally got my siblings to start watching this again, and even after not watching it for over a month, I still love Tutu. ^^
I can't believe Fakir can write stories that come true! That's just crazy! (And really amazing. Just like a fairy tale.) Can't wait to see how he uses that to help. (And if it works.) I actually think that evil Mytho is cooler then normal Mytho... If he does turn back to his good self, I hope he stays cool. Also it looks like Rue is starting to regret doing what she did to Mytho, since he's been acting evil and unkind to her. (Serves her right, imo.) And poor Ahiru keeps having to save every single female in school from having their hearts taken from them. (Quite literally.) And lastely. Uzura is such a cutie! I love her! (She's also a Fakir x Ahiru shipper like me. :brow:)
Princess Tutu is fantastic! I can't wait for more.

9/10.

After Neane's post the other day about watching some anime short films (several of which I hadn't heard of before), I ended up watching Kigeki myself-- and it was fantastic! The 11-minute film's animation and art style were absolutely gorgeous, and it had a great story, too. Loved it!

(Thanks Neane! :thumb:)

I recently saw some SKET Dance with my siblings. It's pretty amusing so far--and not Brain's Base! (I'm branching out! :'D) Not sure how regularly we'll watch this, though, since we're still making our way through Natsume Yuujinchou (which is very, very good).

Still keeping up with Mawaru Penguindrum and some AdultSwim stuff.

Last night I watched two animes that could very well end up going in my top ten. :o

Princess Tutu episodes 21 - 22
Drosselmeyer is in fact the main villain. There are Ringwraith-like people known as 'books' whose purpose is to chop the hands off of any of Drosselmeyer's descendants who attempt to write. (That. is. so. awesome.) And now Ahiru is... I think she's inside of Drosselmeyer's grave. (0_0)
The plot twists in this show are superb. I am really liking the darker turn this story is taking. I hope it all ends well though. (And I am a little tired of Ahiru denying she has special feelings for Fakir like she does for Mytho (Maybe not as much though), the scene where she tries to save Fakir from the oak proves that she does indeed.)
9/10.

Eureka Seven episodes 1 - 4

I was a little unsure if I wanted to watch this because I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch another mecha show so soon.
(I've watched a lot of those lately.) However, I'm I glad I did.
E7 has such a great soundtrack. (I love the opening.) Not to mention the fresh, interesting artwork and large cast of characters that I could definitely grow to love. (I've already laughed out loud like 6 times. ;)) The plot feels original (even though I'm sure there are parts of it that lots of anime have done before.) and I just feel really happy when I watch this.

I can't wait to watch more tonight. :D

Eureka Seven episodes 5 - 11

Words can not express how amazing this anime is. (For me anyway.)
I love, love, love it! Renton is hilarious, Holland is just plain weird, (Well, basically everyone on the ship is... In a good way.) and I can see now why it gets such a good score on MAL, it's super original in a super awesome way.
I love the way all of the relationships are handled and portrayed. It's refreshing how bold and crazy they all are. And as for what happened in the last episode I watched, (11) What is up with that pink haired twin of Eureka? I mean, whatever that red stuff was that the young military guy injected into her made her go super psycho. Pink haired girl better not melt Eureka and Renton's brains! Otherwise I may have to hate my new favorite show. :wow!:
AT, the show only gets better. I personally think the first 10 episodes or so are the show's weakest part. Once you get about halfway, you'll want to watch the entire thing in one go.

finished Steins;Gate and was really enjoying it, but I got to a point where I was just ready to be done with a bunch of shows and find something else and so I was not able to fully appreciate the last few episodes. But I still did like it, and I liked the MC quite a bit. and it had awesome character designs...and generally there wasn't much I had to whine about. =)
