Not to be a wet blanket, but I think his name is actually Alberto the Impact. At least, that's how my DVD subs read. Did you see the English dub or perhaps a fansub copy? Is the name translation just that flexible?Davidizer13 (post: 1502634) wrote:Alberto the Shockwave
The boys down at Big Fire's titles have gone through a few permutations.TheSubtleDoctor (post: 1502708) wrote:Not to be a wet blanket, but I think his name is actually Alberto the Impact. That's part of why I am on this site, so I can find good anime without too much blind experimentation. So I have been trying out some of the older stuff first, like Trigun right now. I would also like some recommendations for a 15 year old guy who's seriously ok with violence, but not nudity or absolutely terrible language, and has a family who is almost totally anti-anime in general, for the above reasons.
A little, no A LOT, of help would be greeeeaaatly appreciated.
Sidenote: Do I sound like a professor or something? All my friends say I do when I write.

Your secret is out, Atria! We all know the truth now. Your standard of subject-verb agreement is actually Ebonics. XDAtria35 (post: 1502745) wrote:At least I don't talk like that in real life.

And holy crap. O_O
This series is supposed to be for kids, but I have no idea why they categorized it like that. Although it starts out a bit slow, once you get past the middle, it's compelling and really makes you wonder why on EARTH anybody would say that this is a kid's show.

Also- No. You sound like an older teenager, not a professor. You also need to brush up on your grammar.
