I'm intrigued by the premise of Mushishi, but as I share my Netflix connection with my family I must respect their convictions when it comes to what I stream directly in our home.
Also I have a question regarding an anime I watched when I was younger and have since forgotten the series' name. I know it was a Gundam anime and that the main characters were based on symbolism within a traditional card deck (I remember that specific face card symbols would appear on their hands during fights and such. If anyone could give me the specific name of this series I would greatly appreciate it.
Atria35 (post: 1491569) wrote:Well, Mushishi is all about a guy who deals with spirits called 'Mushi'. He's like an excorcist of sorts- heals people who've been afflicted by them, but they're also a part of nature. I guess the closest analogy would be those Midichlorians from Star Wars. They aren't worshipped, there's no real religion to speak of ever mentioned, it's just that they cause some wierd and occasionally bad things to happen to people.

It's one of my favorite series though, definitely watch it.
Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

Show's I've watched
I do like Dragonball Z.
And I used to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender.
