Hello there, I'm Rri X!

I'm very glad to have found this site --it's hard to find anime and manga that I can watch, as I have very high standards. The Reviews section on this site has been a great help.

Many of my dearest friends are anime/manga fans, but I don't follow the same series that they do, or really any series at all. I'm hoping that through this site, I can discover one that I enjoy.

I'm a Kingdom Hearts fan, as indicated by the X my username. XD Organization XIII...So sad.

Well, I honestly am not able to say much as to that. I've never really found a series I could sit down and watch the whole way through without getting a stomach ache. XD

I watched the majority of Fullmetal Alchemist (the 2003 one) before I had to stop. I utterly loved the way the characters were developed.

I also adore the sadly out-of-print, no longer licensed Kingdom Hearts manga series in all its forms.

As for least favorites? I've never actually watched it, but I have had a hard time with Naruto. I was practically stalked by the series for about a month.

Not altogether sure, though my best guess is a cross between guilt and nervousness. I tend to panic a bit before watching anime, because I've had some bad surprises from the genre before.

It's not fun. Especially when my friends'll say 'Hey, let's watch this!'. I think they're getting tired of hearing that I can't watch that one, or this one, etc. They're pretty good about not pressuring me, but still...

I'm thinking part of it's fact that it's anime. If something's an anime or manga, I'm already on alert for the stomachache. If the same series were live-action or an American cartoon, it would probably be easier to watch. Yet I have this fascination with the art style, and I fit in with the people I know who claim to be 'otaku'. *facepalm*
