It's been kind of a while since I was around here; don't know if many people were around when I was about... a year and change ago (seems things change fast around here!) or would still remember me, but hello~ For those who do remember me, this last year +'s been pretty rough on me, so apologies for disappearing.
I'm minakichan; recent college grad (real world OH NO!! which means I'll have more free time though) who likes... a lot of stuff. Often seinen manga with corporate conspiracies or PLAY THIS MYSTERIOUS GAME OR DIE plots, but also cheesy shoujo manga, although I guess that's a lie because most of the stuff I'm watching/reading now doesn't fall into those categories. I tweet @jennifuu, post my ANIMU DRAWRINGS at minakichan.deviantart.com, and utterly fail to maintain a blog at http://jtfu.scripts.mit.edu/fiammata/.
What else... I also like DC Comics (especially the Bat-family), playing hanafuda and mahjong, and occasionally making comics/doujinshi and small video games. Currenty working on a short visual novel and a disgustingly long Death Note doujinshi.
I'm kind of coming back on now particularly <s>because I saw CAAers on facebook when I finally started logging in again</s> because I realized that I'm socially crippled and don't know how to make friends outside of very specific nerd circles at school and THAT IS A PROBLEM in the real world but I enjoyed making in-tar-net friends here SO!

Kou Shuurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari, a really lovely historical political drama romance (?!) jousei light novel that was popular enough to get two 3-cour anime series (even Nodame Cantabile didn't get that many episodes!) but not popular enough that anyone really noticed it stateside =/
