Sci-fi, slice of life, action/adventure, drama, fantasy, some comedy, and non horror suspense are my favorite genres. ARIA, Last Exile, Fullmetal Alchemist, Clannad, K-On!, most Studio Ghibli films, Gundam Seed, Advent Children, Appleseed, Lost Universe, and AD Police are some of my favorite animes.
I'm currently in college studying to be a physics, theater, and Biblical studies major. I love to chat and discuss various subjects from politics to anime to stem cell research to the latest computerized gadget. I can be very opinionated though I love to hear both sides to a story and enjoy a nice friendly mature debate over a cup of tea or coffee whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Last Exile was purely amazing. It was the first anime I watched when I started watching anime again. (Pardon my potential ramblings as I am very tired.) The character and plot development totally amazed me while the graphics stunned my senses. I couldn't get enough of the story and plot twists so much so that I spent an entire week mulling over the plot and scenarios (something I don't do very often). I loved how intriguing the entire story and setting was as well as the physics defying Vanships. It made me think very hard and long through most of the series until the last few episodes, in which case I cried a lot and thought some more. In short I loved it. I haven't seen it in at least two years so I don't remember a lot of my initial impressions other than, "Wow, this anime is amazing!" Do you have any specific questions?
Favorite animes are like eating grapes. You can't have just one.

Tea is amazing as it doesn't fry the brain quite as fast as coffee and calms the nerves simultaneously though coffee is purely amazing.

Hmm...I'll have to think about it a bit more. Oh! Here's a good one!
What was the last thing Alex said before he died?
Technically they are to a certain extent. Yes, Star Trek does have the winning ticket of most physics defying machine between the two, but hopefully I'll be able to resolve that issue, or at least part of it, after I get my degree. I would love to be able to travel to Alpha Centari or farther and back before I die.
