Postby CloudStrife911 » Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:31 pm

I'm a 20 year old male. I go to a bible college (finishing my first year in a few weeks). I love anime, manga, and almost anything you can think of that relates to the work Otaku and Geek. My favorite anime is Fooly Cooly. I haven't had very good success finding a good Christian Forum that is anime influenced so I hope that this will make that statement untrue! :D I originally seeked this place out because I really miss having good conversations with random people like I used to, and I figured what better place than the two things in my life that mean the most to me God and anime (in that order).

Yes I am! I guess I forgot to mention that (Which is ironic because I'm playing Batman: Arkham Asylum right now! lol). I love games, especially Final Fantasy X-2 and below.

I tried, but it just kept telling me "Hi there! We're sorry you're not seeing the chat right now. Until we've had a chance to verify your account, you will be unable to chat. Please visit the board and make some friends. This will be working after you've been around the place for a bit." So then that's when I decided to make a thread! :D

Yo! And welcome to the boards. Yeah, you need like 15 posts before you can get into chat. Keeps out the spambots and flamers.

So what's your second fave anime, and do you also read manga?
Are you a big reader?

I read alittle, but after school lets out I'm going to try to read alot. I read manga, but I'm cheap, so i don't read much. The one I do read is called "My Mysterious Girlfriend X" which is so obscure that the publisher's website doesn't even acknowledge it lol. I also have read 4 books of the Ranger's Apprentice series and I plan on catching up on the rest of it this summer. My second favorite is non-existent because I honestly cannot choose. XD

Those are great books! :D And those four books stand by themselves pretty well, so that's a good stopping point.

What do you mean, you can't choose a second favorite? o.o?

I admit it- I haven't read the Ranger's Apprentice series. I should get on that.

....When I'm done with my other 15 books I have checked out right now xDDD

I've heard of 'Mysterious girlfriend'. Bit of a cult hit. Been meaning to read that too. As you can see from above, my reading list has a few other higher priorities. You can't get manga through your local library? I know a few other members have that problem- I got lucky, I can get quite a few titles through mine. But I can understand being cheap. I no longer really buy any anime, it's all manga funds ATM!

Yeah, I would, BUT I'm at college out of state and I don't even know where I'd start to look for a library. When I go home for the summer I might be able to find some in the library, but last time i was there and I looked they had absolutely nothing. I'm really surprised you've heard of Mysterious Girlfriend X also XD you are one of the few.

I get what you're saying. Usually the first place to look is a phone book. Or you can look one up here:

The internet is an amazing place. Never underestimate it. I'm at college away from my hometown. I ended up getting a membership to the local library. It was just easier that way.

Welcome to CAA! Hope you like it here. :)
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
