I've never been a big zelda fan... maybe because I've only tried the game on old gameboy - and that, that was boooring... only plants to kill

...O_o...

YAY!!!

I liked WW and everything, but in my good opinion it's about time they've made a zelda with...I'm not saying realistic, but rather eh, more proportional graphics. Nintendo hasn't gone crazy after all!!

I wonder if Malon's gonna be back...*hugs Malon and cow plushies*

I for one cried when I saw that footage. It's incredible! I'm sooooooooo happy they didn't trash the spaceworld 2000 footage. I mean, I loved wind waker with all my heart, but it's nice to see a full fledged and very nice looking adult Link in his own game.

wait...so is this a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, which includes all the characters from the OOT franchise, like Saria and Mido, or is it a different Hyrule universe?

But there is Epona, and Epona usually means there's Lon Lon Ranch, and Lon Lon Ranch means there's Talon, Malon, and Ingo, my most favorite zelda charries haha...

Well...I was excited to see another Zelda announced as well.

Windwaker was a great game, one of the best on the Gamecube, but going back to the OoT-style graphics will be pretty cool.

Here's an interview with Mr. Miyamoto and Mr. Aonuma about the game:
http://cube.ign.com/articles/514/514589p1.html

and an article about a extended trailer:
http://cube.ign.com/articles/515/515922p1.html

wait...so is this a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, which includes all the characters from the OOT franchise, like Saria and Mido, or is it a different Hyrule universe?

That is unknown at the present time. Nintendo hasn't confirmed it either way.
And the horse that Link was riding isn't necessarily Epona...

Yes! I must lay claim to this game, so that my brother cannot buy it and therefore control my rights to play it!! (after all, he got to buy WW, so this game is MINE, heheh)

Link! *glomps* He reminds me of Legolas... with a nightcap. That picture rocks, PotBelliedCow. (Do you mind if I call you PBC? Or Cow? I'm so lazy XD)

Hmm... I'm sorry about that joke that I didn't notice until after I posted the link, but... Oh, nevermind... I'm not gonna risk it... I didn't think the link was inappropriate, just make sure people were warned about the things that I warned them about.

At some risk, may I say that if you want the link (a PG-13 link for some violence and a sexual joke) you can PM me...

If I needed any one thing to make this day better, this was probably on the list of things that would suffice. Indeed, this is good news to hear indeed. Wind Waker might have been a great game, but I far preferred the mature style of Ocarina of Time.

Presuming this computer performs moderately well, I intend to visit Nintendo's site shortly to obtain more information.
