OK you RCT player, I need your help! HOW DO YOU DELETE TREES? It's so freaking annoying! :bang: I just got the game, and I can't figure out how to get rid of trees so I can fit a new ride in! Please I neeed your help!

Well I could be wrong. (It's been a while) But I believe you use the landscape option (the shovel) and then just left click on the trees. That should work. Hope this helps. ^.^

RCT or RCT2... either way....

right-click on the tree to delete them while you have some tool or another.

Most rides will remove the trees as well when you place it, however I don't remember with RCT but with RCT2 at least it costs more for the trees to be removed automatically.

There are some games where you're not allowed to remove trees, but it should say so in the scenario screen as well as it complaining when you try to remove them.

Fire away any other questions... I've got your back... big RCT fan here (got a thread on the new RCT3 around somewhere too! )

the trees are there only to be in the way :-p why did they put them there in the first place??!!

Because you generally don't find undeveloped land with all the trees cleared off (well, unless there was a forest fire that just raged through).

The best thing is to try to remove only the trees that are in your way (manually while building a track/ride) as it leaves the old trees as scenery around it, much like many of the parks already have.
