Well, if you decide to watch it again, it is all on DVD now.
1. Did you watch Heroes?
2. Are you eagerly awaiting V's second season?
3. Do you like disco?
4. Favorite song from the 50's, 60's 70's, and 80's (I don't call 90's classic yet. It needs to age more)?

1. ....no? It seemed like one that would degenerate after a season and start disappointing..... and from how people like the rest of it, I was right. I hate investing myself in shows that aren't going to make it.
2. Sorta. I haven't finished the first season yet, so I'm not sure how I feel about it, but chances are good that I'll end up excited!
3. In a way. It's fun to make fun of, but I also love watching people dance to it. It's kinda cool. I've always been sad that my almost-hometown was where the "death of disco" started
4. 50's- Heartbreak Hotel just edges out White Christmas!
60's- Tie. I'm a Believer and Hey Jude
70's- Tie again! Superstition by Stevie Wonder and Hotel California by The Eagles
80's- In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins. I love Phil Collins!

You mean that your hometown was where that infamous event where people ran disco records over with construction vehicles occured?
1. So you like Phil Collins. What do you think of Genesis, the band he was in before he went solo?
2. Would you want to team up with a famous fictional detective, like Sherlock Holmes or Nancy Drew?
3. Do you live on campus?

Nope, mine was the one where they blew up boxes of disco records with explosives and there was a riot.
1. I like a few of their songs, but I think for the most part I'm glad he went solo.
2. Nancy Drew. Sherlock was an obsessive jerk in the books. Nancy is nice.
3. Nope. Off-campus. Technically, half an hour away on foot. But in nice weather, it's a good excercize distance.

1. Anime character you'd most want as a friend?
2. Ever watch .hack//sign?
3. Do you have a member of your extended family that you enjoy spending time with? Why?
4. Is there a member of your family that you just can't get along with?

1. Er.... I don't know? I suspect I might get along with Haruhi from OHSHC, because she's very level-headed and smart (I could learn a lot from her!)
2. Nope
3. Not really. I don't see any members of my extended family for any legnth of time, so I don't really know what to talk about with them. I think that now that I'm older, I'd enjoy talking to my Uncle G more often, since I'm no longer scared of him.... I think I hurt his feelings a bit when I was younger, since I avoided him a lot.
4. My aunt G (not married to uncle G!). She's a control freak and a drama queen- if it isn't her way, it's the highway, no matter what you think!

Call animal control.... while looking for the magic portal that brought it there.

1. Favorite J-pop artists? (I doubt I asked this question already)
2. Did you ever watch Babylon 5? If so, did you think it was a rip-off of Star Trek or something else entirely?
3. Which site do you think is better for streaming anime--Hulu or Crunchy Roll?

1. A lot more than when I first got asked theis question! Since this allows me to list them, I now also like Kalafina, FictionJunction, and May Nakabayashi in addition to Makino Yui and Utada Hikaru!
2. I saw the Babylon 5 movie.... something something something. I thought it was a mix of Star Wars and Star Trek, which was kinda interesting.
3. Hulu, actually. I noticed that they had bad subs on CR for Erin- there was one episode the subbers called Lilan a 'he', then when there was something referencing her a girl, changed it to 'she', and then immediately after went right back to referencing her as 'he'. That annoyed me to no end.

1. All three! I know I've done it for all three of those reasons.

I based it off of the name of one of my favorite characters in The Neverending Story, Atreyu. I had a total crush on him!

1. Um.....
.......
.......
Zodiac! Man, that was a hard one. But Zodiac was really interesting and pretty true to the actual events (as terrifying as they were)
2.
1. World of Ham- because it's just so darn funny when Everyone's acting it up!
2. Anvilicious- I love to make fun of stuff, and when it's easy to do so, I grab it with both hands!
3. Break the Cutie- Double points if I hate the cutie!
4. Writer Revolution (and as an addenennum, Bored on Board and Take That)- because revenge can be funny.
5. All Natural Snake Oil- My mom is a sucker for this stuff, and I have to occasionally remind myself not to be bought into it.
6. Ax Crazy- Just because
7. Apocalypse Wow- BIG EXPLOSIONS! Worth every minute!
8. Genre Savvy- Now, if only I could figure out mine...
9. Surrounded by idiots- I can sympathize.
10. Getting Past The Radar- 'cause I love it when it happens!

1. Have you ever wondered what Heaven must be like? What's your idea?
2. Ever check out Pandora?
3. I'm watching Soul Eater. (I'm on ep 11) Have you seen it? If so, what's your opinion?

1. Yes! Well, in my dream everyone- and I mean everyone except for those who were truly horrible people (Hitler, Manson, the Zodiac killer and the like)- are there, and there's as much (or as little) room as you like to spread out and live- kinda like a better version of Earth, really. I mean, I like it so much- I would miss the green if it were clouds and golden houses!
2. Pandora?
3. I've read some of the manga, and I really like it! Even though it's rather fanservice-heavy at first, the characters scream awesome, the world is innovative, and I adore the scythe as a weapon. You can't go wrong with it!

1. Why do you have Polar Bear written under your avatar?
2. If you met an alien, what would you do (let's assume it's a benevolent one like ET)?
3. What company do you think does the best manga translations?
4. Best parody?
5. Have you ever used Japanese honorifics when addressing someone?
6. Have you ever been to an Amish community (like the one in Pennsylvania or in the Midwest?) If so, what was your impression? (Personally, I've come to think they may be right. Maybe there are too many distractions between us and God these days)

1. It's an in-joke between me and a group of my friends, and is my nickname with them
2. I would.... I have no idea. It would depend on what they were here to do- if they were trying to get home, I'd help them get home however I could, for instance :)
3. I'm a fan of VIZ, myself, but IMO my friend F does the absolute best ones- she's more fluent in Japanese than English, and she was raised in America!
4. I'm a fan of Mystery Men, myself! (Baby Bowler forever!)
5. Nope.
6. I haven't, which is wierd- out of all the places I've been to I've never been to one of them! (though while I can see some points to what they believe, I still think there are advantages to "modern life" that I would never give up- i.e. access to an ambulance).

1. Would you want to help colonize a planet (I just found out that may be a reality...in about 20 years)?
2. Do you like Harrison Ford's movies where he didn't play Han Solo or Indiana Jones? Which one was his best?
3. What do you think of Johnny Depp?
4. Do you really think there's any merit to the idea that people are all connected?

1. That would be awesome, but lonely, since I also read that if they did colonize it, everyone who went wouldn't be able to return. I don't think I'd want to give up my chance for marriage and kids for that- unless I had the opportunity to marry and have kids when I was out there. Then it would totally be 'yes'.
2. I don't like many of his movies, but I'm a hige fan of Witness and Frisco Kid. I also enjoyed American Graffiti. His best was probably Witness, though.
3. *sqee!* Totally cute! I can't believe he's really pretty old, though. He is a fantastic actor. He does tend to be slightly typsecast, though, even though he does a great job.
4. Yes. DNA shows that there's a genetic link that everyone shares, and if you take Adam and Eve literally, then we are all decended from them. Or is there some other way I could interpret what you're asking?

Depp's sure come a long way, considering that he died in his first movie.
1. Why do girls like the "bad boys" so much? (I'm asking because I've never understood the appeal of Draco. The kid has no admireable qualities!)
2. Do you like Humphrey Bogart?
3. Ever been to a live hockey game?
4. Favorite Pokemon?

1. Girls are attracted to the idea that there might be a 'wounded soul' underneath all that bad-behindness. And there's a certain appeal to the idea of the guy you like being someone that others wouldn't want to mess with.
2. In certain films- I think I like him in The Maltese Falcon the best. He was kinda the original 'bad boy'.
3. NO! But I REALLY want to sometime! That would be so awesome- but it's rather expensive ;.;
4. Ninetails and Rapidash. Sooooo cute!

1. What do you think of the fact that Bruce Wayne is now dead in the comics and Dick Grayson assuming the role of the new Batman?
2. What do you think of this other new development: Bruce had an illegitimate son named Damian Wayne? (his mother is Talia, Ra's al Ghul's daughter.) Damian is now the new Robin and was trained by Ra's assassins.
3. Which Robin ship do you prefer: Robin/Starfire, Robin/Raven, or Robin/Batgirl (Barbara Gordon)?

1. How far down the sliding scale of anti-heroes do you think Artemis Fowl is? Here's how the scale works.
a. Type I--hero is a loser, like Spider-man.
b. Type II--hero is a jerk. (Han Solo, Indiana Jones)
c. Type III--hero is occassionally doing underhanded stuff to get the job done. (Batman)
d. Type IV--hero has killed wantonly (Punisher)
e. Type V--hero in name only. He's only the hero because he's the main character and he wins at the end. (Conan the Barbarian, at times)
2. Do you think there's a viable argument for Snape being a hero?
3. Do you think Beast Boy and Raven make a good couple?
4. Have you read the Oz books or have you just seen the movies?

1. I think that he's a Tyle III. I mean, he's very into the criminal underworld and was SO doing illegal (technically) things to get what he needed in order to free his father (and for the adventures after)...like
selling that endangered animal to those endangered animal killers
. He's not a type IV since he's never killed wantonly, and he's a little higher than a level II since he's definitely done more than just gotten his hands dirty with a little smuggling.

But actually, I think that he's lowered himself in levels since the 5th book or so- now he's not really on a scale of evil, since he went legit and legal and is trying to help the world.

2. I think there WAS one at the end of the 6th book, but not when the 7th rolled around. NOt when you find out his motivations or being a hero.
