Bah...I didn't realize the number of nominations counted. I certainly would have seconded The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya....bleh.

By the way, both shows put me to sleep...but the music of K-On was terrific, and I thought the characters stood out more (in a good way).

You have my vote! I don't think I need to say which it's for, but for the record: So Ra No Wo To!

I've always wondered if I should have watched K-ON, but it just didn't hold my interest after episode 1, like So Ra No Wo To did. Of course, the fact that K-ON is notably lacking in the Blue-Haired Autistic Girl department may be part of the reason for this.

EDIT: Voting code? Oh. Well then, <12~SoraNoWoto> I guess I am not a thorough enough reader. :|

Since this is the first match, I will do as Mr. Resetti did and yell at you to include the voting code if you intended to vote but didn't include one.

Meanwhile, <5~K-ON!!>

More on stuff: I don't actually think Sora no Woto shares very much with K-ON! other than the character designs, and even then, it's the adapted character designs; the original Kishida Mel designs were more distinct. I think Sora no Woto is pretty comparable to K-ON!'s first season, but K-ON!'s second season is much, much better than both of them. For one thing, with the character and other introductions out of the way, K-ON!! basically had twenty-four episodes to grow the characters and by the end of it, the show was able to reach that Manabi Straight quality that I was hoping for when I first started watching the first season.

Man it's cruel putting these two together. Sora no Woto was really great...

I enjoyed this probably more than I expected actually. The melancholic, dystopian atmosphere was what I found most interesting.

Come on! We need some more showing or we'll never be able to topple the dictatorship of shallow popularity-based popularity!

K-On!! was just slightly more entertaining than Sora no Woto, even though the story wasn't as good.

My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.

Tie-breaking methodology
A list of size 10 with the matchup for x vs. y is evenly distributed as follows:
A = [x,y,x,y,x,y,x,y,x,y]
After calling random.shuffle(A), A[0] is the winner of the tie.

Sora No Woto: 5
K-ON!!: 5

Victory! Although it came to a random draw...speaking of which, you really like that shuffle function don't you blkmage?

So it comes to this. In the spirit of anti-popularity and non-unanimity I shall vote <13;FiveLeaves>.

House of Five Leaves wasn't bad, but it was just too slow for me. It might work better as a manga.
