As you can tell, I did not do this yet... I have only until thursday afternoon to finish all of my homework. 20 assignments... And I've done a total of 1 and 3/4... Well, I'm going to definately go to the language lab to do more, and also finish my 15 hours (I have ten) so that should be good... It's just that when I tried to take 5 hours to do my work, I ended up losing focus... Pray that I'll be able to finish it all and won't be distracted and won't lose my energy...

ooh... gotta clean before I can go to the language lab... Not looking forward to that...

I'll pray for you.

I will pray for you.

In order to not lose focus, I usually limit myself to no more than 3 hours on any one assignment. It may take a greater number of days, but you probably won't lose focus, or get bored with the subject. You may be able to work for more or less than 3 hours at a time, but the point is that time management is the key to finishing large assignment with minimal anguish.

Ooh, today was great! I finished almost half of them! I just hope I can continue this tomorrow.

EDIT: Woke up a bit late today, so that cuts a bit of my work time off... I'll have to stay till midnight for sure tonight if I want to finish today (after I do all of these, I still have the workbook to worry about...)

I did a lot of homework, but I'm giving up... HW is only 10% of the grade (25% is attendance) so I think what I did was fine... I did 17 assignments in 3 days, so I'm all Japanesed out, and I don't want to burn out before my final... So, I'm gonna have a normal day tomorrow!

Next time I go into a class like this, I'll be spending all day at the University Library to make sure this doesn't happen again. All this work snuck up on me because I didn't take enough time to do my work... I got behind at the beginning because of my math class, and never fixed my pace... So, I've gotta do some major changes next semester I have!

I know the feeling. I got an F (my first F on an exam EVER!) recently in Chemistry--a subject I normally excell at--and why? I neglected studying thermodynamics or whatever that nonsense is in favour of... Humanities (read: a history/literature class). And I'm a science major too! SCIENCE! We scientists usually shy away from the humanities, but considering the amount of effort (and enthusiasm) I pour into the subject of humanities, I'm considering maybe changing majors (although I "said" I was a biochem major, this isn't official YET). And besides that, I have nineteen units this term, a little more than average.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you because frankly, I don't have a solution for me, either. My weakness is that I get distracted easily (CAA and weblogs are a constant temptation). All I can say is play the best with the cards you're dealt and hope for a good outcome.

And pray. That seems to work.
