Well, most children are. I think after enough watchings of the movie (one of my favorites when I was a kid!) I got that it couldn't be any other way, though I was sad about it.

My favorite Warrior pairings:
Cloudtail + Brightheart (great pair!)
Firestar + Sandstorm
Jayfeather + Cinderheart (too bad it'll never work out. Stupid warrior code)
Brambleclaw + Squirrelflight

Whoo for another JayxCinder fan! Why warrior code, why!? In all honesty I kind of want Cinderheart to end up with Mousewhisker though. xD
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NIV, Romans 8:38-39.

I thought about this for a little while, but in the end, there is only one correct answer for me:

Baucis and Philemon

. . . which also happens to be one of my favorite Greek myths.
Let others believe in the God who brings men to trial and judges them. I shall cling to the God who resurrects the dead.
