NaNoWriMo 2010 - The Reckoning

I reached my goal today. At the moment, I have 3,440 words, so I might stop soon and take care of some homework before I get back to writing.

On a side note, the NaNoWriMo site has been crashing all day. It's kind of insane, XD.

Oh NanoWrimo site...you never have been able to handle the enormous amount of traffic you get each year. I'm nearing 2000 words. I'm hoping to get to around 3000 by the end of the night. If I don't, I'm still off to a pretty good start all things considered.

So I'm actually rolling along pretty well... less than 8,000 words from the end of the first part of the story, and midway through the whole crazy disaster that is the first part of the story.

Had a friend over for movies last night, so I didn't meet yesterday's quota, and today's not looking good either since I was sick for half of it and I think my husband wants to hang out with me now that he's home...

I'm not doing bad at all. I'm hoping to crank out several thousand words this weekend. My problem is the lack of ideas. I burned most of them out last year! But since I have nothing to do after school but homework, and even then, it's rare, I just sit in my room and write.

Ah well, I just hit 15k. I think I'm done for the night, or thereabouts. My hands are killing me from assignments on top of so much written in three days... >.<

I just added a Widget to the right bottom corner of my sig. Word Count will be updated (hopefully) with every passing thousand words, as well as keeping track of my percentage and days left. ^^

I'm really enjoying this. It's great stress relief in the midst of all this homework! ;D
