There a few other organizations for Christian martial artist who teach professionally as well. I taught for about 6 years and also became affiliated. The only issue I found with this site is it is not always up to date or with a lot of communication. That being said this was over 3 years ago.

Well, still at the motel. An old but awesome friend now knows my situation and said that I can come to his place for a few days once the time in this motel is up. I'll be meeting him at a mall for some tea.

Kunoichi, what style did you learn? I'm gonna shoot for Kempo Karate from the man Carter Hargrave. He makes it hard to get in, follows some very strict guidelines on who can come in. He's a Christian, the youngest person to be promoted to Professor, and is recognized by the congress as one of the greats.

Edit: My friend lives at the apartment that is not safe in any way, shape or form. The only complaint that he and his wife has is that maintenance sucks. If I do end up there, I'm investing in a shotgun.

Alright, finally got a place of my own. Internet Cafe, coffee bar, in-unit washer and dryer (code for outside your patio or balcony), water from the complex, electric from PSO, grandparents helping with financing and giving me some hand-me-down dishes and furniture but who's complaining? Friend giving away his futon, got a job that allows me to get groceries whenever I need it instead of once a week. Still waiting for that check from my last job to arrive at my pastor's home. I'm gonna try to get the internet ready before I move in then I can come back each night instead of here at this laundromat. Once the checks start flowing in, time to get restarted on the project I long since had to abandon.

feel like I'm going to cry... no new posts

Anyway, internet w/ installation will be available at my new apartment on 9/17. So no more hanging out at a laundromat. The shear amount of money going into this, shew.... Gonna drive down to McAlester where my grandma lives on Sunday to see what kind of furniture and such I could use. I'll probably get the bed and such here in Tulsa instead of using a U-Haul for a bed, but I will have to use it for a computer desk.

Yep, got the apartment, food and one last thing I need. Something to do during my times off. I've never really been the social type. I don't have much money and I would like to go back to school but with my current job, I can't. Oi, this boredom is getting unbearable already.

I'm so glad you got the apartment! That's great!

Maybe you could hang out at the library? They might have a book club you could join. Or there are online book clubs that you could participate in.

the thought of going out at night to look for trouble has crossed my mind every once in a while.

Edit: My pastor just gave me a book and apparently it used to help people study their Bibles more throughly and in depth. Although it gives me quite a list of other resources I should try to get. Yay, more money to be spent. But hey, it's only a temporary thing, be a good investment for my eternal soul.
