Postby thisiskris89 » Fri Sep 24, 2010 1:50 pm

please pray for a dear friend of mine. she has breast cancer. she said she had 2 surgeries and just had chemo that went well...
she's always been like a big sis to me(even though we've never met face to face)she's always been there for me and stuff.please pray for her. she's not saved but her heart is not hard. and also pray that the Lord gives me the words to witness to her.

Thanks guys.

Sorry about that. I should read the rules more often. Any, prayin for ya.
Psalms 82:3-4
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.

I'll pray for your friend.

Midknight, this is a prayer forum, not a snake-oil sales forum. Please remember that in the future.

Two things: everyone, this is a prayer forum. Also, there is only one actual doctor on this forum, so keep in mind that all medical advice ought to be left up to the professionals.

That said, I'm really sorry to hear that about your friend! I'll definitely be praying for her physical condition, but more importantly, that she would find Jesus in this!

I have a friend who had terminal brain cancer. When I met her, she was very angry with God and was actually abused by a religious cult. All I did was show her love and that was what helped me to slowly talk to her about God. Explaining to her that the love I show her, is so much less than the love God shows her. She has reunited with a loving God and I praise Him for it.

I'll pray.

Sharing your faith is tough, but I think that especially in a situation like this, the conversation will leave several natural doors that could lead to a conversation about Christ. Ultimately, I find that whenever I pray for God to open a door for me to share about Him, He answers that prayer. So I'd encourage you, if you're not already doing so, to actively engage in every conversation, praying as you talk and waiting till you find that door. It will happen.
