<_< Is it okay if I revive this thread? I figure most people will have seen enough new animes to get a few new favorites. For me:

FMA: Brotherhood - Again (opening), Uso/Lie (ending), Period (opening), Shunkan Sentimental (opening)
Claymore - Danzai no Hana (ending) (the only anime where I like the ending but not the opening!)
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.
- Ellone, Final Fantasy VIII

Haibane Renmei's "Free Bird" is a new favourite.

I've probably already mentioned Eureka 7 ending #2.

Sengoku Basara (1st season) OP...incredible. Always gets me pumped for the show.

On this same score, TTGL OP is brilliant.

DRRR's 1st OP and ED were amazing.

I really dig the Claymore ED as well, especially the first part.

blkmage speaks the truth. This is possibly my favorite OP ever.

I also love all of the openings sung by Lia (Angel Beats!, AIR, and Clannad~After Story~), as well as the OP for Kanon (2006).

The Dennou Coil OP really grew on me after I finished the series (I didn't notice all the cool details and foreshadowing in it until I was finished with the series...but when I did, I was impressed).

The Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou OP is another favorite of mine (the music annoys me, but I love what they did with the animation), as is Card Captor Sakura's first OP.

As far as EDS go, I love the EDs for both seasons of Natusme Yuujinchou (both are lovely songs, and the art is soft, warm and beautiful). The Clannad ED never fails to touch my heart, even though I haven't finished the series yet. I never get tired of the first ED of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the EDs for Last Exile and Ghost Hound are also personal favorites

Hmm...I have quite a few favorite openings:

Pilot Candidate (Yes, I know I ripped it a new one with regards to it's dub, but I still like the orchestral music and the opening animation, and because the show ends so abruptly, it's actually nice to see that the protagonist gets his hearts desire...even if the outfit kinda sucks.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FktnFQ7CSZc

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad - (Beck has Engrish and it's not afraid to use it...and that's what I love about the opening sequence. "Hit in the USA" has found a home in my truck's CD player from now on--right next to Greg Ayres "All the Same", Otis Redding "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" and Vic Mignogna's "Far From Home" [don't give me that look; you know you liked it too]. I also love the fact that we see our protagonists sing the song in the opening sequence and that, if you listen to the song one way, it sounds like the group is saying "I was made to hit an American". Rock on Beck.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYy5nEdkRBg

Planetes - (The reason I like this one so much is because, aside from the fact that it's historically correct in the progression of the space program, it also introduces all the main characters just in case you forgot their names! I find that cool as I have the memory of a goldfish. Also, if you notice, the creators make small changes as the series progresses which is noticeable on the DVD's as they give you all the openers to compare.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FktnFQ7CSZc

Aria: The Origination - (I am an all around fanboy of the "Aria" series, and all the opening and closing titles rock my socks, but it's something about the last season opening song "Spiral" that really gives me a warm, relaxed feeling. I especially love it when it's played over the opening sequence on the 2nd to last episode.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnkQKpMZAuw&feature=related

Lucky Star - (Yes, yes, I know. But it's my list, so deal with it.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViEH57xQu1c
Joshua: Hebrew -The LORD is Salvation

" wrote:RustyClaymore 11:27 - Ah yes, Socks is the single raindrop responsible for the flood. XD
