Also, earlier this week I saw Wall-E for the first time. Also enjoyed that. And the one Pixar short on the disk (not Burn-E, the other one) was just brilliant.

It took a little while to get into the film, simply because of the edgy cinematography (frequent sharp cuts) and the weird sound effects and other "strange things" started to happen so early in the film that a solid baseline of normality wasn't readily established. Still, once the film got going it pulled it all together and made for a very unsettling and disturbing film.
