My friend needs help

I have a friend who is not saved who is going through some stuff. Her parents are devorced, but still fight and that really stresses her out. A little more than a week ago she also tells me that she is now bisexual. I don't think that is right, and she knows that, but I told her I'll still be her friend. Now she is telling me that she is even more confused and that she might be transgender. I'm praying for her but I don't know what to tell her exactly. Please pray.

Do you guys even know what 'transgendered' means? Basically, if she's a tomboy, then she can be considered transgendered. Probably 99% of the people on Earth can be considered transgendered in some way. Look up the definition, and relax for a moment. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation. Bisexual, well, that's a different story. I'm glad that you told her you'd still be her friend. It's not uncommon for teenagers of any gender to go through a short period where you wonder due to the hormone craziness that goes on. If she's going through hormonal stuff while her parents are going through this, then it's going to be even rougher. By about 10 times.

It sounds like she needs to talk to her parents about what's going on and how it hurts her. It's possible they just don't know- and parents usually like to know about stuff like that.

Prayers that things look up for her, and keep being her friend- that's what she needs most right now, it sounds like.

The thing is she says it's more than just tomboyishness and that she actually feels differnent and had dreams about it. I told her that it's probably because she is going through a hard time and it's an emotional defense. I will tell her to talk to her parents about the fighting though.

^ Okay, that clears things up a bit. Well, at this point all you can do is ask her to talk to her parents, like you're going to. I hope that does help things for her- it'll probably be very hard for her, but if she has your support for that, I'm sure it'll be fine

Thanks everyone! I've been praying about, and I hope it's just a phase or something. I don't think she knows what she's getting into.

This situation has gotten worse and I'm scared. Now she's started talking about getting plastic surgery, hormone injections and crazy stuff like that! Her internet friends are no help either. most everyone tells her that it is the right choice and she should become a male. The school we go to has also drilled into our heads that this is an exceptable thing and if you don't except it you must hate the person. That's not how I feel at all! I really don't know how to tell her that this is a really bad idea! Please pray everyone! I know somehow God will use this for good, but right now it's hard to see.

I will be praying, I have a friend that has the same problems, I know how stressful and worried you get. Keep hope, and show her Gods love, I hope things turn out well.

I'll keep praying as well. Keep showing her love through this time she is going through. That's something that she most likely really needs right now.

Well she told me that she came out to her mother about the situation and she'll stay a girl until 18. That at least gives me some time to actually talk to her and hopefully get her out of this phase. I believe God is working in all of this and I know he has heard our prayers. Thank you everyone for the kindness, this is emotionally hard on me and it helps to have someone to talk to. I told my mom what was going on with my friend and she was helpful too. Thank you God.
