Mission Trip!!!

OK,so right now I'm currently on a mission trip to an Indian reservation with my youth group. I went last year, and I'm so glad to be back. We put on a "Kids Club" of sorts, which is like VBS, with most of the time devoted to "loving on the kids." I made a connection with a little girl named Sydney, now 7, which I am now seeing again. Last year, she and her three year old sister would walk a mile alone down to their community center to get lunch. They werent very taken care of. Now, they both seem to be better taken care of, and I have finally seen her mom and dad. On this reservation, many kids' parents are either in jail, or are constantly losing and regaining custody of their children.

Please pray for my entire team (around 50 of us going to 3 locations, around 20 at mine) that we can spread God's love. Pray for the kids that they accept Christ or at least are encouraged by this. Pray for their parents, that they will hear what is happening in their kids' lives and become curious about it themselves.

Judging from what you've said, I think I'll be praying that those kid's parents can manage to get their acts together and start loving their kids the right way, and that the kids' lives will turn out alright.

Update: best thing ever. I was playing with the younger sister, Stacy, and we were making the "Kids Club" craft: a "God Journal." I told her that inside she could draw something she learned about God, or something he created. She began to scribble. Then, I asked her what she drew. To my surprise, she answered: "Jesus!" The scribbles looked vaguely like Christ on a cross. The work of the Lord is shown in a girl younger than five.
