Alt Web Browser Suggetions?

Postby CrimsonRyu17 » Tue Jul 06, 2010 9:53 am

I need an alternative web browser to use when I'm playing my games. Firefox is causing too much fps lag and tends to freeze up when I wanna switch back and forth.

I just need something that can play youtube videos and have a few tabs, like 3 max. It doesn't have to be petty at all.

Any suggestions?

There's always Opera and Google Chrome ^^ I'm not sure if they're cause any problems though.. That wasn't any help, but it's worth looking into ^^

Opera is nice though for some reason it doesn't seem to like Flash much. I don't like Flash much either but it's a bit annoying.

Seems to be conflicting with my client and being worse than FF. Chrome isn't something I want because I hear of complaints about directlinked pictures not working if you don't have really good internets.

Ah, I checked CNet and found Comodo Dragon which is basically a remix of Chrome. I tried it anyway and I can switch back and forth with no lag at all. It's not the fastest thing in the world but it is very stable and doesn't freeze up or conflict with my client. No problems loading pictures either and I could transfer all of my bookmarks from FF.

Thanks for the Chrome suggestion anyway, I probably wouldn't have tried this otherwise. I do believe I've found my alt.
