I went in expecting to be scared, and came out with a ton of laughs at the expense of the movies. I'm not certain how this series maintains a fanbase. No offense meant to the fans.

That was so freaking awesome I can't wait for the rest of my family to catch up so I can start season two. As far as an introduction to Dr. Who goes, I couldn't have asked for anything better (except, maybe a better first episode).

Becoming too attached to a particular Doctor is a rather common malady. But not to worry, David Tennant does an excellent job. I can really relate to his portrayal of the Doctor, where he finds himself in that awkward situation where he knows stuff, but people around him can't figure out what's going on with him, so he doesn't really have a clear idea of how to relate. As for me, having scored inexpensive copies of the first four seasons of the new Doctor Who, I've been playing episodes of season one in the lunch breaks between Film Production I and Post-Production I.ich1990 (post: 1400468) wrote:Yeah, I imagine I will have a strong bout of "doc shock" to work through when I get to Season 2, considering how much I liked Eccleson.
