Watched episodes 22-23 of D.Gray-Man yesterday -- it was a GREAT pick-me-up after I got it to work. =)

Also episodes 35-40 of Soul Eater. Still enjoying it immensely, but poor Crona. *hugs Crona*

Just finished Angelic Layer. It was very good. Better than I thought. :) Now one of my favourites. And I've seen episode 16-17 of Initial D. Oldschool but great. ^^

That's how I felt while watching Mermaid Melody. I fully understand what you mean.

Watching FMA (original anime), episode 39. Plan on starting Brotherhood after finishing the original.

I watched episodes 59-60 of FMA: Brotherhood :wow!: I've said a bajillion times how awesome this anime is, but it just keeps on getting better and better. Climax, woohoo!!! And I'm really excited, because I just heard a confirmation that there's going to be 64 episodes and 109 chapters, and that they're both coming out on the 4th of July! :jump:

I also saw episode 8 of Saint Tail. Takamiya brings in some much-needed conflict into the status quo ;)

Watched 2 eps each of the Black Jack OVA and Paranoia Agent on Animax.

Currently watching a random episode of Bleach back when it was still going somewhere and laughing at the dub, especially the pronunciation of "Abarai" (kinda making cringe too), and the fact that everything is oh so serious. Also, my dog is called Renji, so it’s weird.

D.Gray-Man 26 -- that was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen.

Gankutsuou 6 -- yay! the plot thickens! I'd happily marathon this, but I'm sort of at Borders and so. yeah. maybe tonight. :D

I still have to get to Vampire Knight Guilty and FMA.

I just recently finished Eureka Seven. I found it to be an excellent series, and thoroughly enjoyed its themes of hope and adventure.

I don't feel like starting in on any other long, 50-episode series at the moment, so I'll try out the series Romeo X Juliet. I've heard good things from it, so I have high hopes.

Picked Le Chevalier d'Eon back up, and I have to say, it's not one that you can leave alone for extended periods due to the complicated politics. Watched 13-18. I know that the psalms they're saying are supposed to have some significance in how they're used, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what it is.

Honey and Clover episode 6, which part of me really liked, and I still feel the same way about the jumps from "AHHH CRAZY STUFF!!!!!" to the kind of melancholy I was expecting before I started. It's a good show, for sure.

I certainly second that. One of my favorite episodes was Cowboy Funk. That got me laughing.

Watched several random FMA:Brotherhood episodes tonight while reading the last 50 or so chapters of the manga. (Ow, my eyes!) And they were all amazing. I love the entire Japanese cast of Brotherhood - there are precious few in the main cast that aren't in my favorite seiyuu list - but I have to give a special shout out to Minami Takayama, Envy's seiyuu. Wow. She was amazing.

Le Chevalier d'Eon 19-24 (complete)- Well, I have to say, for a show that went a little off into political tangents, everything wraps up rather nicely. This was an interesting show- it took actual historical events/people, played around with them a little, added some fantasy/supernatural elements, and put them up on the screen. The middle part would have dragged if it weren't for the 'four musketeers', but I have to say that overall, this was a really good anime.

Voices of a Distant Star

It is very obviously an early Shinkai work. All of the same themes of school romance, distance, and gradual decay of relationships are there, but in an unrefined, unpolished, and low budget form. There are also a few "what the heck" moments, such as when you realize that the UN space armada never bothered to give their star mecha super soldier girl a military outfit, and instead sent her into battle in a school uniform.

It is inferior to 5 cm Per Second in every way, but it is still Shinkai, and the story is a great concept. It is most certainly worth the 25 minutes or so that it takes to watch. 7/10

I am SO far behind in Brotherhood, it's not funny. I think, maybe, I left off on episode 12...
I had to let it drop because of school. I'm hoping to be able to pick it back up soon, especially since the manga just ended (I'm curious to see how it was animated.)

I just received my Dragonball Z Season 4: Disc 4 from Netflix in the mail, so I'll be watching that today. This is a fun series to watch. Not sure if I'll stay with it all the way through, though. It's just SO long. I think I'll pick up the manga.
