I think he meant OVA.

I personally found the ending to be kinda sick and depressing- if its your cup of tea, go for it, but I never needed to know that stuff about her family! *shudders and weeps for her future*

Rewatching the eps of Durarara!! that have come out, and the ones that have come out since I put it on hold. Still awesome!

OAD is Original Animation Disc. Functionally, it's the same as an OVA or OAV or whatever, except they felt the need to invent a new acronym since it's on a DVD.

The entire point of the ending was that she was going to be the one to put an end to their family's practice.

I just finished episode 10 of Kure-nai.

Also, villains doing evil or wrong things is generally okay in my book. Now, if we were supposed to have a hero who did such things, that would be different.

I had an urge to re-watch Otogi Zoshi, and I just finished the fourth episode. I'd forgotten how much I like that anime.

I just finished the last episode of Monster.

Before this series, I thought I would never find anything that could beat Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood as the best anime I had ever seen. But now I have found that anime!!

I just completed Kure-nai. That was pretty great, I noticed the last two episodes had a serious bump in animation quality, and it was a satisfying conclusion to a great anime.
I wish Murasaki and Kurenai(even though no one calls him that....I can't remember his other name) could have ended up living together again, but this was probably the best way to end it.
And I'll definitely watch the OAD with blkmage in July.

Just completed Gundam Seed Destiny. It was a mixed bag, at best. It had some great moments, but I didn't like it as much as Gundam Seed. I am now re-watching Gundam Wing!

After years of people saying how amazing FLCL is, I watched it and was fairly unimpressed. The animation and art was really good, considering it's early 2000s and the soundtrack is pretty great too, since the pillows are great. The problem is that there's a plot that I can see and understand, but there's this layer of LOL RANDOM that's distracting my attention from the story. I like weird things and watch a lot of weird things. As far as I know, I'm the only one here who's watched Maria+Holic or Potemayo, so I am not averse to weird things. This might have been something I would've enjoyed a lot more a while ago, but it doesn't really do anything for me now.

Three episodes into Angel Beats!, I'm still not sure what to think of it. It still leaps from wacky shenanigans to sad life story in the same episode and we're still looking at stupid plans formed by this stupid group because of the show's stupid premise and setup. I'm really worried that the "Key-like" elements of the show being hinted at are the sad life story infodumps that we've gotten so far. I'm aware that every Key story has its shenanigans and sad parts, but they never oscillate between the two this quickly.

Also, Katanagatari 04, which is really interesting for reasons that should be discovered by people who are watching it.

Haibane Renmei was pretty good. I can definitely see why people were pointing to this show (and not K-ON!, contrary to popular belief) as the comparison for the atmosphere of Sora no Woto. I enjoyed the same sort of feel of the two shows and I really liked the eventual plot that it got onto in the second half of the show.

Durarara!! 4-10- It was a slow day, and I got mostly caught up on this AWESOME show! It seems like everything before 10 was a build-up, and now things are really going to get interesting!

Finally finished Samurai Troopers (a couple weeks ago ahaha).

Still working on the First Gundam TV series; stopped at around episode 27 or 30 or somewhere around there. So, not too much left to go-- just haven't gotten around to it.

Gonna start Honey and Clover with a friend before too long. Also considering watching Kaiba (or was it Kaiji?! SIMILAR NAMES ARGH). Andrew would be proud.

Just started watching Casshern Sins. There really is a dark mood to it, but that is what makes it great.

I also saw episode 51 of FMA Brotherhood. It was awesome. Also saw episode 446 of One Piece. It too was awesome.

Arakawa Under the Bridge eps 1-3- interesting, but not as funny as people have been claiming IMO. I'll finish it since it's only 13 eps, but so far, it's just not my thing.

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan 1-3- Cute guys, decently interesting storyline, and ZOMBIES! I'm far more interested in this. Sticking with it.

Bakemonogatari ep.1- Eh. Not thrilled with the main leading lady. But the visuals are interesting, as well as the story. While the fanservice is very slight, when it happens, it's really in your face. Finishing only because it's only 13 eps.

Bakemonogatari is 15 episodes, and the last one hasn't aired yet.

Just finished the first season of Ookiku Furikabutte. It is best described as moe baseball, in terms of the character archetypes and the corresponding relationship graph. Like, you've got your confident and skilled character, the goofball character, the character that seems like they suck but they're some sort of savant and no one has trained them properly, etc.

Now, I know what you're thinking by now, moe? Another show with a ragtag team of moeblob girls progressing through a tournament? Well, you're wrong, because it's a show with a ragtag team of moeblob guys progressing through a tournament. If you've ever watched something like Taishou Yakyuu Musume or Bamboo Blade, you'll see what I mean.

Anyhow, it was entertaining enough that I'll be picking up the second season, which coincidentally started airing this season.

Just finished Tegami Bachi, and I want to cry. I'm debating, however, if it's over immense frustration at its gigantic "end 25 episode opening for second season" or because of how sad it was. Hm. Maybe both?

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam

Overall, I really enjoyed this. I can see why the Gundam fanbase generally holds it in high esteem, though a few of those deaths near the end there felt sort of random to me.

Watched episode 3 of Kaitou Saint Tail. The introduction of the obligatory cute pet thing. (I think I would be less annoyed by such things if it weren't for Chu-Chu in the video game Xenogears.) And I'm just glad I've managed to pick up a few random Japanese phrases and am able to figure a lot of anime things out by context, because the subtitles were nigh illegible.

Animes I plan on starting is Haibane, Saint Tail, .hack//Legend Of Twilight, and whatever else I can find.

Also, I finished all of xxHOLiC! (Now I await season 2). Oh man, volume 5 was really good, EPIC SNOWBALL FIGHT! And the final volume....oh man, if you thought all this show would do is make you laugh really hard and freak you out, you're wrong! It gets emotional, too. I actually cried!

The second new noitaminA show for this season, Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, aired today. It's by the same director of Kaiba and based on the promotional art, I was expecting it to be weird. I didn't expect it to be weird and just be a guy talking a lot and really fast. The nature of this thing was basically Bakemonogatari, except monologuing and not dialogue, and without Nisioisin's witty writing. Also, the visuals are way weirder than anything SHAFT has ever done. Kaiba's first episode was really compelling and this was not. Bakemonogatari's first episode was really compelling and this was not.
