Great, just in time for everybody to have forgotten all about it.

Seriously, what took them so dang long? I used to really like this show and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

There was a lot of kerfuffle about the copyright of the music they used in the episodes. Sadly, much of the music had to be replaced but I'm very happy that it's finally making it's way to DVD. It's been far too long a wait. But we're almost there!

Silly copyright laws. Why can't every country be like Taiwan? But seriously. Very cool news. I'd love to pick a season or two up.

I'm glad they're finally putting this show out on DVD. Now I can get rid of the episodes I torrented. I don't like having to pirate things... But I will.

Too bad this won't come to Korea. Daria just wasn't popular enough to cross the pacific.

It's popular here but I think it'll be only an NTSC Region 1 release. That said, region-free DVD players are pretty common here, so there won't be any problems (just a slightly worse image and audio quality).
Daria: The Complete Collection will be released on May 11.

Since Amazon ships to Korea, I actually WILL be getting this. Just not sure when. There's a LOT of stuff I want now that I know I can get it.

I never saw this show. Probably because I was only ten when the series ended.

I'll have to look into it.

I saw the box set in Target last week.

I remember when this show first came out. Does that make me old? It was an offshoot from Beavis and Butthead (Daria was a character on that show) and was much, much better than that from whence it came.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Since the creation of the Internet, the Earth's rotation has been fueled, primarily, by the collective spinning of English teachers in their graves."

No, that doesn't make you old. I mean the series only began in 1997. Very true about it being much better and more intelligent than it's 'parent' show.

I'm awaiting my Daria package in the mail.

B&B spwaned TWO shows that were better than it. Hank Hill was just a reworking of a Character on B&B, and the show was built around him, of course.
