AHHHHH, I did it again. Dang it. My life is taking over my interwebz times. Plus the fact that I'm having a hard time with bills lately. Arrrgghhh!!!! Stupid bills. lol well that's life 4 ya. ^^
Storm walked into the room following spring at a slow pace not sure what to say to what was going on. But noticing the tension in the room decided to keep it safe and not cause any trouble for spring since she had been so kind to him. Walking up to chaucer, storm whispered,"Mr. Chaucer, what's happening?"

IC: Eric chuckled, "Don't worry Naz, you two are buddies."
Sensing Nate's unease Eric grinned at him, "Yeah, I knew her when she was a kid! We used to run around and do crazy stuff with Naz and Kish! It was the best. That's how I found out about their...abilities." He shrugged, "I was a bit shocked but not at all disgusted, I thought it was awesome, so I tried to stick with them somehow though we got seperated...time ya know?"

Kisho glanced at Maxine, "yeah we have come far, maybe not as far as we had hoped, considering the government is still hunting us Anichi down." He paused, "Unless you meant us personally." He didn't wait for an answer when he saw the kid getting pushed around by the gangsters.
"Touch her and you will regret it!" Kisho hissed. One of the men sneered.
"So some punks think they can mouth off? We'll show you!" The man charged Kisho with a dagger in his hand. Kisho dodged and in a fluid-movement kicked the dagger out of his hand and then delivered a strong punch to the man's gut which made him crumple to the ground groaning.
"Look you jerks, if you make it difficult it will be. Don't make me hurt you anymore." He lifted his fist and narrowed his eyes, threatening them to try anything more.

Nazari shrugged. "We'll see." He paused making sure Maxine was for sure gone. "Do excuse me. I have.. Matters to attend." With that, he vanished off into the abyss of the headquarters.

"Must have been quite an experience to see them as children." Nathanael chuckled. "So I take it you're a human? Huh. Most humans would flee at the first sign of an anichi, especially ones as rambunctious as those three. How were you able to handle them?"

Another brute charged, but this time, in Maxine's direction. She used his momentum against him, side stepping and thrusting him into a nearby wall. She let him fall flat on his back.
He stumbled to his feet and retreated back to the others.
"You know what, forget you! She's not worth the trouble." The leader growled, cursing under his breath. They left with a huff of anger.
Callie hesitated, not sure if she should trust Kisho and Maxine just yet. "I appreciate your valiant effort to rescue me from the clutches of those brutes." She said as she gathered her side bag, and all of the items that had dropped out of it.
Maxine slowly approached her. "Where is you mother?" As Maxine got closer, she could smell the girl's scent. An anichi.
The girl hesitated. "I belong to no one, if that's what you're asking. And I'm not a runaway."
Abandoned? That was the most logical explanation Maxine could come up with. "Well, do you want us to escort you anywhere?"
She thought for a moment. "No.. But..You're an anichi. Perhaps I could.. Come with you?" She seemed desperate with her question.
As Maxine looked into the girl's eyes, she saw something familiar, something that reminded her of herself when she was a child. Confusion, fear, desperation.. "Of course you can." She gave Kisho a quick side glance. She knew the others would accept the girl into the group, and if not, she would make them. "We're part of a group of anichi that I know will welcome you in."
Her eyes lit up. "Fantastic! Are you heading to them now?"
Maxine hesitated. So much for their brief escape plan. "Yeah."

"Well, I started out being their friends before I found out they were anichi. They were the coolest people in the world to me. I had parents but...no one in that group seemed to have them. I wanted to be just like them. I don't know how I handled it really...I just sorta went with the flow! I loved the wildness that set in when I was around them. Made my life more interesting." Eric talked fondly of the three people he had grown up with.

Chaucer looked at Storm, "I've no idea, seems to me though that Maxine finally stood up to that pompus Nazari. Looks like maybe Kisho and Max will be together for now." Chaucer smiled and so did Spring.
"I'm happy for them." Chaucer put and arm around Spring and hugged her close, "I hope someday you can find a man who will love you too Spring."
Spring smiled up at Chaucer, "don't worry I'm sure someday I will." She giggled lightly and looked at Storm. "You hungry? Maybe we should find some food huh?" Chaucer nodded, "good idea."

Kisho snorted, "what a bunch of cowards." He muttered and looked at the little girl. He listened to the conversation, started a bit. 'Urg, I don't know if its such a good idea to bring a kid, she could get hurt...' he thought and then sighed. He went on this mission to help save his race, if he didn't help out this little girl what kind of person would he be?
"Sure, sounds good." Kisho smiled at Callie. "Yeah, we are just heading back." he felt his heart fall a bit, he had wanted to stay with Maxine alone for a while. There went his plans.

Nathanael smiled as Eric talked about his beloved friends. "Yeah, they've made my life pretty.. Interesting also." He chuckled.
Dalton joined their conversation. "yes, they are quite thrilling people!" He piped in, widely smiling. "Oh, how rude of me. Let me introduce myself!" He stuck his hand out towards Eric. "The name's Mika Roselli, but everyone knows me as Dalton. I'm what you would call a world famous detective."
Nathanael raised his eyebrow. "Your name is Mika?" He asked, but only got a shrug in reply.
OOC: Ok so.. we need to think of a filler event or something to keep it interesting between now and the next morning when they leave. OH IDEA~! *coughtwistedsurfacesagainwith kishcough?* That might add a little flavor

Maxine gave Kisho a knowing look. She patted him on the back as they walked back to the hideout. She looked down at the small girl. The child reminded her so much of herself when she was a child. "By the way.. My name is Maxine."
The girl only gave her her partial attention. "That's a nice name. Mine is Callie." She hardly looked up at Maxine as she replied, her eyes were darting every which way.
Maxine gave her a curious look. What was she looking for? "Uh.. Are you looking for someone?"
Callie nodded. "Balto. He's my guardian." Her eyes suddenly lit up as she caught a glimpse of a black streak running towards them. "There he is!" She smiled. As soon as he got close enough, she engulfed the huge black wolf in a hug.
Maxine was slightly startled by the presence of the wolf. It was such a large creature. Bigger than any wolf she had ever seen. "Oh. Well.. Hello there." She said with a timid breath.
"These are our new friends, Balto. So be nice to them." As Callie spoke, the wolf listened intently, as if he understood every word she said.
Before long, they arrived at the headquarters. Callie seemed intimidated by the gang members as they passed, but Balto gave her strength as he walked by her side.
When Nathanael caught sight of Maxine, he headed her way, leaving Dalton and Eric to talk. "Oh? A new addition to our group?"
Maxine nodded.
He smiled at the child, kneeling down and extending his hand towards her. "Nice to meet you. My name is Nathanael, I'm Maxine's twin brother."
Callie accepted his hand. "My name is Callie. A pleasure to meet you."

OOC: Sorry for being gone so long. But I'll tell ya y I've been gone. The lord has answered my families prayers and we are in the process of getting a house to move into after about 14yrs. IC: Eric looked suspiciously at Dalton, "you are lying man," he grinned, "you can't be named Mika, besides you probably tell everyone a different name because you are a detective. But wait? Are you investigating the Anichi or something?" he arched a brow, "if thats so...you must be an enemy!" he said ti with all the drama he could muster and then busted out laughing. "I'm Eric, by the way." he shook Dalton's hand.
"I'm sorry man, I couldn't resist." Eric smacked his leg and then glanced at the door as Kisho, Maxine and a strange little girl came in. His eyebrows went up, "let in love and came back with a kid? Geez, I didn't think you could have a baby that fast." he wondered if his joke was funny and tried to keep a serious face.

Kisho listened quietly to Maxine and Callie talk, she reminded him a bit of Maxine, only Max had been so full of arrogance. He tried not to chuckle remembering some of their crazy times together. They returned to the hiding place faster than Kisho expected, he smiled at Nathan, always the friendly man.
Kisho watched Max and ever so timidly reached out and squeezed her hand before letting his hand fall back to his side, he wanted her to know that even though he was unsure of letting the girl join he trusted her.

Chaucer smiled, "I like the sound of that." he looked at the new little girl, "in a minute though." he moved over to Kisho and Maxine, Spring at his side. She beckoned for Storm to follow.
"Hello there Callie, My name is Chaucer." he bowed at the waist the way a gentlemen should. Spring smiled at Chaucer and then at Callie, "hello, I'm Spring." she held out her dainty hand to the girl.
IC: Eric looked suspiciously at Dalton, "you are lying man," he grinned, "you can't be named Mika, besides you probably tell everyone a different name because you are a detective. But wait? Are you investigating the Anichi or something?" he arched a brow, "if thats so...you must be an enemy!" he said ti with all the drama he could muster and then busted out laughing. "I'm Eric, by the way." he shook Dalton's hand.
"I'm sorry man, I couldn't resist." Eric smacked his leg and then glanced at the door as Kisho, Maxine and a strange little girl came in. His eyebrows went up, "let in love and came back with a kid? Geez, I didn't think you could have a baby that fast." he wondered if his joke was funny and tried to keep a serious face.

Kisho listened quietly to Maxine and Callie talk, she reminded him a bit of Maxine, only Max had been so full of arrogance. He tried not to chuckle remembering some of their crazy times together. They returned to the hiding place faster than Kisho expected, he smiled at Nathan, always the friendly man.
Kisho watched Max and ever so timidly reached out and squeezed her hand before letting his hand fall back to his side, he wanted her to know that even though he was unsure of letting the girl join he trusted her.

Chaucer smiled, "I like the sound of that." he looked at the new little girl, "in a minute though." he moved over to Kisho and Maxine, Spring at his side. She beckoned for Storm to follow.
"Hello there Callie, My name is Chaucer." he bowed at the waist the way a gentlemen should. Spring smiled at Chaucer and then at Callie, "hello, I'm Spring." she held out her dainty hand to the girl.

IC: Dalton looked slightly embarrassed. That was his real name. He shook it off quickly, to avoid drawing attention to it. "No, no. I'm not investigating them. I was kidnapped by them, and I must say, it was quite exhilarating! And plus, I am one myself." He grinned.
Dalton's face grew a shade red as he held in a giggle at Eric's joke.
He headed over to Callie. He was curious of this little anichi.

Callie smiled at the two, reaching her hand out to shake Spring's, then went through the introduction again once Dalton came up.
She glanced over at Balto, sitting patently by her side. "Oh! This is Balto, my loyal companion!" She grinned, scratching the jet black wolf between his ears.
Balto merely stared at the others with a cautious eye.

Maxine watched as everyone was introduced to Callie and made small talk with her. She smirked. Good old Dalton. He was just about interrogating her with all of his questions.
She decided that this would be a good time to sneak away and figure out the sleeping arrangements.
She paused when Kisho grabbed her hand. As she read his look, she gave him an appreciative nod.
"It's getting late. I'm going to go ask where everyone's suppose to sleep." She paused for a moment, then headed towards Nazari's room.

Nazari had been right in the middle of something vital when he heard a knock at his door. He grunted, quickly covering up the vials he had previously been working with.
He was not expecting to see who he saw at his door. "Maxine." It sounded more like a question.
She looked uncomfortable. "I just came to ask about the sleeping arrangements." She said, her arms folded, and expression like stone.
He nodded. "First, will you come in? I wish to speak with you."
She reluctantly stepped into his room, the door shutting behind her. "What do you want?"
He paused, thinking his words over carefully. "I wanted to apologize.. For earlier.. It was stupid of me to have reacted the way I did, and I'm sorry. I know I deserved that punch. My words were way out of line."
Maxine had a look of shock on her face. She was definitely not expecting an apology from him.
"Well... I guess I forgive you." She paused, examining his expression. It looked like he had more to say. "Was that all?"
"No, actually. I wanted to ask you if I could.. By any chance.. Join your group."

Storm slowly followed Chaucer and spring to greet the girl in front of them. He walked over towards Callie and smiled,"Hello, My name's Storm." said storm happily towards Callie and Balto.

Maxine had been suspicious of Kisho and Chaucer since they had that private conversation the night before.
Kisho seemed bothered about something.. Perhaps it was just about Nazari?
Maxine had a hard time sleeping through the night, her mind was racing with thoughts that wouldn't quiet.
She had awaken at the crack of dawn to settle some of those concerns.
She walked down the hallway and stopped in front of Kisho's door.
Knocking, she asked, "Kisho, are you awake?" Her voice was hoarse form lack of sleep, so she tried clearing her throat.
She figured when Kisho was half asleep would be the best time to ask him.

Dalton had woken up early, due to habit. He was used to getting up so early because of his detective work. Suspicious things were always at work late at night and early in the morning.
As he entered the main room, he saw Callie tinkering with some scrap parts.
"Good morning, Callie!" He smiled, half yawning. He sat across the table from her. "What are you working on?"
Callie was so preoccupied, she hardly noticed Dalton walking up. "Oh, good morning." She returned his smile. "Well, this is an invention of mine. It makes picking locks easier." She began to explain to him how it worked, and all of the scrap parts she used to make it.
Dalton was amazed that this little girl could create such a thing with those scraps. "That's amazing!"

Nathanael and Conri had gotten up at the same time. They literally ran into each other in the hall.
They both spouted apologies at each other and laughed it off. "I'm very clumsy when I'm half asleep." Nathanael explained with a laugh.
"Oh don't worry, it was just as much my fault as it was yours. But if you want to take the blame, by all means.." He joked, smiling.
Nathanael laughed. "So what are you doing up so early?"
"Security check. I actually just finished." He explained. "And what about yourself?"

She drifts off to one of the rooms and sleeps uneasily only to wake up far too early. She listens to the sound of others breathing and then quietly shifts into her tarantula form and moves up the wall, she skidders down the hall and into the main room, looking down at Dalton and Callie.

"Kisho...you aren't going to confess that you are gay are you? Because I don't think I could take that." Chaucer held up his hands and Kisho started, "What?!" Kisho said his face bewildered. "No, I'm not going...I'm not gay! Gosh Chauce."
"Sorry Kish.." Chaucer grinned, "what is it?"
"Listen..." Kisho stepped closer, "I don't like the fact that Nazari is trying to join our group, and I especially don't like him around Maxine. The last thing I need it for something bad to happen when we are so close to our answers." he pulled out the book, "I want you to keep this diary and when the time is right I want you to use it. I don't know whats going to happen. But whatever happens, if I have to leave you and the others...take care of them."
Chaucer narrowed his eyes, "Kisho...what are you saying?"
"I'm saying if Nazari pulls a stunt I'm going to chase him down until I kill him. Got it?" Kisho growled. Chaucer stared at Kisho for a long time in silence before accepting the book.
"Alright Kisho, but if Nazari does something...you know the whole gang of us will come after him." Chaucer whispered back.
"No, you can't risk our answers for that jerk. Got it? I'm going alone. And do whatever you have to, to convince everyone that I need/have to do this. Lie if you must, tell them something really bad that'll make them keep going." Kisho's eyes glowed with his seriousness and something twitched behind them, Chaucer didn't like what he saw, he saw the beast in Kisho awakening again.
"Kish..."
"Chaucer! Listen to me, for once I feel like this is right. Please trust me." Kisho's voice had become desperate. Chaucer had no choice, he nodded.
"Alright Kisho...but just for you." He tucked the book inside his inner pocket.
"Thank you Chaucer...now we better get to bed." Kisho left the room without another word and disappeared into a room, Chaucer stood still and then followed him, resigned.
Kisho groaned when someone knocked, he rolled out of bed, it was morning. Kisho stood up and went to the door, only in his tank-top and baggy black cargos he opened the door and glared; "What?" he growled and then his orange eyes landed on Maxine and his face softened.
"Max..." he whispered, "sorry...I didn't know it was you." He didnt' look quite so embarassed as he usually would and leaned on the doorframe, surpressing a yawn. "What's up?"

Eric slumped to bed, his mind running a million miles an hour, he couldn't believe his luck, he was back with his friends. Only he suspected something was up and that bothered him. He didn't sleep well and in the morning he left his room feeling gross and not really awake, most of the reason was because it was 5am, he knew no one else would be awake so he sat at the front of the hide-out and blasted the volume on his music from his headphones. Eric watched the sunrise and his sense of forbodding only got worse, his gut twisted and he excused it as excitement.

IC: Maxine wasn't surprised in the least by Kisho's first response from waking up. She had grown accustom to his mood in the morning these past several years.
"It's fine." She dismissed his attitude nonchalantly. "Listen.." She paused, knowing he wouldn't take this right at all, but she pressed forward none the less. "I spoke again with Nazari last night about him joining us.. And I must say, I think he would make a very valuable asset, despite the recent quarrels." She paused to study his expression. She knew he wouldn't like the idea. "Look, I know he's been a royal pain in our hind quarters since we arrived here, but at least consider it for the group. He's an excellent navigator, and knows the forest and surrounding cities well." Her eyes pleaded for him to consider. She knew that if Nazari joined, there would be some trouble, but he would help them more than he would hurt them, she was just sure of it.

He crossed the room and sat beside him. "You seem troubled." His tone was pleasant, and invited trust.
Nathanael was always deemed the most caring of the lot. The one that people went to when they had troubles. He didn't mind though. As long as he could help, he was happy.

Callie suddenly stopped her work, listening intently to her surroundings.
Dalton cocked his head. "Something wrong?"
She didn't reply, instead she focused ehr attention on a small black spot on the ceiling. "Hello there." She smiled at Spring.
Dalton was very impressed. Even HE didn't notice her up there! "Very good observation, Callie! I should take you as my junior detective!" He joked, with a smile and a wink.
She returned his smile. "I've gained many observation skills on the streets."
OOC: Hey, could we try to hurry to the forest so the other two members can jump in?
IC: Maxine wasn't surprised in the least by Kisho's first response from waking up. She had grown accustom to his mood in the morning these past several years.
"It's fine." She dismissed his attitude nonchalantly. "Listen.." She paused, knowing he wouldn't take this right at all, but she pressed forward none the less. "I spoke again with Nazari last night about him joining us.. And I must say, I think he would make a very valuable asset, despite the recent quarrels." She paused to study his expression. She knew he wouldn't like the idea. "Look, I know he's been a royal pain in our hind quarters since we arrived here, but at least consider it for the group. He's an excellent navigator, and knows the forest and surrounding cities well." Her eyes pleaded for him to consider. She knew that if Nazari joined, there would be some trouble, but he would help them more than he would hurt them, she was just sure of it.

Nathanael noticed Eric's odd attitude, and decided to check on him.
He crossed the room and sat beside him. "You seem troubled." His tone was pleasant, and invited trust.

IC: Kisho's eyes narrowed as he listened, he knew she would come to him, he knew Nazari and her had talked. For once Kisho listened for Phantom.
"What should I do?" he asked Phantom, he trusted the beast with the instincts. Phantom was silent and Kisho opened his mouth to reply to Maxine when he spoke.
'I say let him in, but don't trust him' Phantom's voice was weak, after their recent struggle he seemed very surpressed and his spirit wasn't strong. Kisho nodded.
"Max... you know I wish Nazari was different, and sometimes I want to hurt him...but, we are trying to help our kind and it wouldn't be right not to let him join. He could make an excellent asset." Kisho paused and then put a hand on Maxine's arm.
"Just...please, be careful." he whispered, his eyes full of concern, "if he ever did anything to you..." He trailed off unable to finish, then he cleared his throat. "Right, we better shove off then, don't want to make the others wait too long." Kisho forced a smile and turned away, not shutting the door in case she had something to say.

Chaucer was up bright and early, he went in to check on Storm and make sure hw as awake. "Stormy boy! Time to get up." he said cheerfully.

Spring blinked all her eyes surprised and jumped down on to Dalton's shoulder, "how did you know I was there?" she asked, though she didnt' appear to have much of a mouth.

Eric looked up at Nathan, "...I just got a really bad feeling... like somethings not right." he looked over at the rooftops of the houses across the way, "I used to get them all the time around the gang..." he sighed, "I don't know Nate, I think we need to be careful. As Kisho spoke, Maxine studied his face. Something behind his eyes frightened her. She knew that if Nazari ever did anything to her, Kisho would release Phantom and kill him without hesitation. She couldn't-no, she wouldn't let that happen.
Before he descended back into his room, she grabbed his arm, letting him face her again.
"Kisho I need you to to promise me something.." She tried swallowing to rid her throat of the knot that started to form. "If anything happens to me, promise me you won't let Phantom out." Her eyes pleaded with his. She knew very well that there was a good chance he would. "Please.. I need you to promise. For me." The though of Kisho turning into that beast again sickened her.

Dalton Smiled down at Spring. "Well hello there."

They stepped out of the room and walked into the main area with everyone else.

IC: Kisho blinked stunned by her words, he paused, knowing full well that if Nazari did anything he would probably lose the hold he had on Phantom. He winced thinking about what Phantom would do to Nazari, even if Kisho didn't like the guy Phantom was cruel and could make full-grown men cry for their mothers. He sighed heavily.
"I..." he looked into Maxine's eyes, "I promise, I will not let Phantom out." Kisho felt Phantom twitch inside him and he clenched his teeth, he would try his best. "I promise you Maxine, I will try to the best of my ability to keep Phantom locked away."
'You can't control me forever.' Phantom's wicked voice whispered in Kisho's mind. 'Someday...you will slip...you will Kisho.'
Kisho shuddered and closed his eyes, trying to block out the whispering voice, then he realized he was still with Maxine and opened his eyes. "I better get ready." he murmured, a strange feeling hit him, like he might not see Maxine again for a while. Acting on instincts he wrapped her into a hug and held her close, standing there for a minute, then he let her go and stepped into his room. "See you in a minute." he shut the door and leaned against it, he closed his eyes and breathed deeply before getting his small amount of things together and exiting the room.
OOC:..MUSHY! XDDD Oh, and a threat from Phantom. Guys, be careful!! Phantom is dangerous!! WARG! All other RPer's should be aware of this ^^

Let's get out there and get going, seeing as most of the others are awake already." he winked, "anyone who isn't can get doused with cold water." he chuckled light-heartedly and stepped out of the room and went to the main room, his eyes locked onto Nazari and he narrowed them.

He stood up and went back into the hideout to wait for everyone else, he had already collected his belonging last night after everyone had fallen asleep, Eric had honed his skills at sneaking around Anichi thanks to growin up with them. "Whoooooa!" he said, "that's awesome."

Maxine could sense the struggle raging inside Kisho's mind. She could only imagine what that did to Kisho.
She embraced his hug, leaning her head on him and squeezing her eyes shut. That same feeling that Kisho felt was growing inside of her as well, but for these few seconds, she felt safe.
As soon as the embrace broke though, the feeling faded.
She nodded in acknowledgment to Kisho and stepped away from the door.
She headed into her room and changed into clothes that would better suit their journey into the woods. She stuffed the rest of her clothes into her backpack, and gathered the rest of her few belongings, making sure to take extra special care of her ratty old teddy bear.
Once she finished, she slung her backpack over her shoulder and headed into the main room to join everyone else.

Maxine approached Chaucer. "Hey, we'll be heading out soon. Oh, and Nazari is coming with us." She added the last part nonchalantly as if it wasn't a big deal. In fact, if you weren't paying attention to what she was saying, you'd probably miss it all together.
Nazari smiled. So she was able to convince Kisho, eh? Perhaps he isn't the only one that deserves the title of Snake.

Dalton smiled. "Why yes it is. And you are Spring." He gently shook her front leg with his index finger. "A pleasure to finally formally meet you."
Dalton turned to Eric. "Indeed she is." He laughed. "Eric, this is Spring. Spring, Eric. He's a human." He used the last word as if it was an uncommon sight. He added after, "Don't worry, he's a friendly one. I already investigated."

Coming in from the street was none other than Balto, holding a long metal wire in his mouth.
Callie held her hand out and retrieved the wire from him, skillfully attaching it to the contraption she had been working on. "Thank you, Balto! It's finally finished!" She smiled, petting the large black wolf.
OOC: Hey just a heads up. I wont be able to reply right away for a while. Really busy as of late.
Also, Nami, if you could have Kisho make the call to head out, that'd be great

IC: Chaucer ignored Nazari and turned to Maxine, stiffening at her comment. "Yes, I know." He said coolly, his eyes sharpening. "That's fine, as long as your past doesn't bother our present, Nazari." he glanced over at the gang leader, something inside Chaucer stirred and he knew it was the uneasy feeling he had been fighting since Kisho had told him to take the book that held the key to their lives. He subconsciously touched the inner pocket where the book was hidden and sighed.

Spring, if she could smile would have, as it was she gave her spidery smile as best she could and nodded, then turned to Eric.
"Ooh," she blinked all eight eyes at him, "you are human? Oh yeah, I can kinda smell it..though its hard because...well you smell kinda like us."
Eric looked up at Dalton a little startled, but ignored that and smiled at Spring. "Yeah, well, I run with Anichi. Humans, not so much." He chuckled and straightend. Spring looked at Storm.
"Storm, have you met Eric?" She called.
Eric turned and looked at Storm who was watching Chaucer, "Howdy!" he said grinning, "I'm Eric. The human." he chuckled and held out a hand.

Kisho entered the main room his eyes shifted over the warm scene and he steeled himself for anything to happen.
"Alright everyone, looks like we are all here." He paused, making sure everyone was paying attention, "I'm going to make this simple, you follow my orders or Chaucer's when I'm not around. "We are not safe yet, I know its been ten years since most of us, got together as friends and companions, but humans, evil ones. Still hunt us. We will be hunted on this trail, if you are too afraid to travel with us, thats fine, no one will hold it against you. But if you come, it means you help this group. You will be helping everyone here stick together and keep from being hurt. If you leave a comrade behind you will be kicked out of the group." He scanned his eyes over them again.
"We are ready," he turned to the exit, "lets go." Kisho walked out the door and into the sunshine. He didn't look back to see if anyone was following him, he knew they would be. He kept an even pace and headed for the town exit, he smelled adventure and danger on the wind and he hardened his heart for what might come.

IC: Chaucer ignored Nazari and turned to Maxine, stiffening at her comment. "Yes, I know." He said coolly, his eyes sharpening. "That's fine, as long as your past doesn't bother our present, Nazari." he glanced over at the gang leader, something inside Chaucer stirred and he knew it was the uneasy feeling he had been fighting since Kisho had told him to take the book that held the key to their lives. He subconsciously touched the inner pocket where the book was hidden and sighed.

Spring, if she could smile would have, as it was she gave her spidery smile as best she could and nodded, then turned to Eric.
"Ooh," she blinked all eight eyes at him, "you are human? Oh yeah, I can kinda smell it..though its hard because...well you smell kinda like us."
Eric looked up at Dalton a little startled, but ignored that and smiled at Spring. "Yeah, well, I run with Anichi. Humans, not so much." He chuckled and straightend. Spring looked at Storm.
"Storm, have you met Eric?" She called.
Eric turned and looked at Storm who was watching Chaucer, "Howdy!" he said grinning, "I'm Eric. The human." he chuckled and held out a hand.

Kisho entered the main room his eyes shifted over the warm scene and he steeled himself for anything to happen.
"Alright everyone, looks like we are all here." He paused, making sure everyone was paying attention, "I'm going to make this simple, you follow my orders or Chaucer's when I'm not around.
