Just saw FMA: Brotherhood episode 49 this past Sunday. Things are really starting to pick up there.

I just finished Clannad After Story. Wow.
It was one emotional ride. Even brought some tears to my eyes. I found the ending very fitting despite the fact that it is very deux ex machana. It appears that Ushio somehow managed to recreate the world entirely so that Nagisa survived her pregnancy. I guess that makes her some type of goddess. They hinted at this type of ending all throughout the series so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
Now you know why I push people to watch it as soon as possible if they've seen the first season and haven't seen After Story yet. Allow me to point you to my very spoiler-filled post regarding the ending of After Story so you can enjoy it even more than you are right now.

Just "watched" the first episode of Baccano! (meaning it was on a very small hulu screen and mostly listened to due to my gore paranoia). Loved the feel of it! And the acting. It was quite fun.

Watched episodes 18-19 of Kodocha, where I am stopping. It feels like a very good place to stop, with basically everything wrapped up nicely, so I don't feel like watching some 80-odd episodes that drag it out and make me lose interest.

And I watched episodes 48-49 of FMA: Brotherhood. :wow!: HOW DOES THIS ANIMATION GET MORE AWESOME WITH EVERY EPISODE?!!! Duuude, I can't wait until they get to the events in chapter 105 of the manga! :dizzy:

So I just finished watching the first episode of Heartcatch Precure. It was okay, it seems to be fairly generic magical girl stuff at the moment, though I hear it gets really really good pretty fast, so I'll be sticking with it for a few more episodes to see if this is true.

Watched episode 6 of Super Dimension Fortress Macross. A robot the size of a large city punched out a space battleship. Then used smaller robots within the arm to fill the battleship full of missiles.

I love this show.

Caught up w/ FMA Brotherhood. I know I'd be sort of stating the obvious if I said that I'm REALLY anticipating this next arch of episodes, so I won]musicals. Word.

DtB is pretty interesting. I am watching it sporadically with a friend, and it is proving a fun way to pass the time. Considering the title of the show, I unexpectedly find myself laughing quite a bit throughout it. Mao is my boy! =)

I saw the 'Durarara!!' thread today, got curious, and decided to watch the first three episodes. I gotta say, its quite a unique series. Great artwork, good music, and deep themes. I have a feeling I will enjoy pursuing this series.:)

So I just finished Durarara!! episode 11, which is cementing that this is becoming my favorite anime ever.

And I'm in the middle of the final episode of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, which proved to be a very awesome anime itself.

Casshern Sins episodes 6-9
Durarara!! episodes 9-11

Casshern Sins is still depressing and awesome.
Durarara!! is still meta and awesome.

Also, finally sat down to watch the Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Minute it was over I wished I'd seen it a long time ago. Beautiful film, even with an ending that retroactively made me stare at the ceiling for long periods of time.

I think it was episode 7 that featured the girl who wanted to make a bell for the world. Man, that episode is beautiful. Such a masterpiece of an anaime.

Heh, heh. Your use of "meta" makes me happy.

Lol!! Hear hear!

Watched episode 4 of Baccano! and yes, I am hooked. I am hooked enough to not rush through it which is incredibly rare for me. Normally it is more of a running stream of background noise, but this is one of the few things I like sitting down and enjoying. It rocks. Yep yep!

Two more shows this week.

Kobato was okay. Once we got past the whole hurr durr Kobato is socially retarded introductory episodes, for most of the show, she does have a number of meaningful encounters. I wasn't really expecting for her to be so tied to the nursery, but well, there it is. It was doing well not having any awful CLAMP stuff until near the end, and I let out a long, exasperated sigh. Watch it if you're into CLAMP, otherwise, there's not much else for you here.

Hidamari Sketch ended its third season as well. I love Hidamari Sketch. While the second season was simply more Hidamari, the third season adds the new freshmen to the show. Obviously, with the four having such great chemistry, I wasn't sure how the two new girls would fit in and add to the show, but it turns out having three pairs of girls in different stages of high school works out pretty well. You've got your first years that we meet, your second years who we've seen grow while they were first years over the last two seasons, and we've got our third years who are now facing their impending graduation and acting as seniors to a pair of new freshmen.

First, a final note on Ookamikakushi. Your show is not very good if the throwaway gag episode was the one that was the least bad.

Hanamaru Kindergarten's been interesting. On the one hand, it has its moments and it's really well produced. Hiiragi is the best character and Gainax put an unusual amount of effort into the EDs. That said, it does make you go what every so often. All in all, not bad.

Nodame Cantabile Finale ended up being a very straight adaptation of the final arcs. This is surprising since Paris Chapter was pretty much a straight adaptation at twice the speed. Amazingly, Chiaki Kon didn't make it worse than the manga ending, which was fairly disappointing in its own right.

The first Eden of the East movie, The King of Eden, was kind of puzzling. The whole buildup from the end of the series was kind of resolved quickly and easily and the plot is still kind of convoluted. Honestly, not much happens in this and most of it is a lot of talking. I would have liked for some more papercraft stop-motion for the ED and I would have liked the OP to use another school food punishment song, because the ED, light prayer, is pretty rad while the OP was not.

Finished Serial Experiments Lain today. I really liked it, though I have no reason for why, I just did. I think it's because it was amazing sci-fi.

Watched 6th episode of Baccano! and picked Ergo Proxy back up. :)

Episode 43 of Soul Eater is complete. Approaching its final stage, the show is great. Apparently the manga becomes much better at this point, but I'm loving the anime.
