I thought I'd join but found out I already had, although I don't care for the name I picked...

(edit, should tell a bit more about myself)
I'm currently getting a Masters degree in clinical social work, although I think I'll end up with a focus in administration. I currently work part time in a Hospital in case management.
I'm a part of two anime groups, and I work in two Florida conventions (one staff, one volunteer). On my days off I enjoy watching anime with friends or talking long walks on the beach in the evening, although its hard since I don't live near a beach.
I'm an awful cook, so I mostly make Seashells and Ragu, I also love to throw random fruit into a blender and make smoothies.
I have a huge collection of anime (main reason for eating pasta every night), most of it focused on Sci-Fi, although I have a soft spot for Nekosmimis.

You posited correctly, your positing skills are truly admirable.
I find their attention to even the smallest aspects of environment and world creation to be awe inspiring. Especially with the sci-fi series such as The Wings of Honnêamise and Gunbuster, I can actually feel myself being pulled into their world. Their later works such as Diebuster and FLCL does not have the same feeling (at least not to the extent of their earlier work) but I'll always be a fan of GAINAX.
Even if their latest work... Hanamaru... is a little weird.
