This is terrible news.
My heart goes out for the ones injured either physically or mentally. I'm truly miserable with the news. I'm also sort of mad.
All the article does is try to pin the violence on something. Y'know what? They may be right! BUT
It's about time we stopped searching for a scapegoat for stupid things like this that CAN be stopped, that CAN be controlled. Violence is one of them!!! Blaming movies or video games, or even our pasts is going to get us nowhere.
I KNOW that we "young boys", as they say, are the ones who cause the violence. That it's always been US. That's right, just like they teach in history classes all over the world, it's the WHITE MALE'S fault. (Usually it's now reffered to as the "WHITE CHRISTIAN STRAIGHT OF-BRITISH-DESCENT MALE", but I hold nothing against anyone of british descent. I, in fact, find it a total insult that all they teach is how Britain was sooooooo evil, especially during the crusades (hint hint, possibly trying to keep God outta the picture?))
Are these media FOOLS trying to support the girls who beat up Nicole?? "Oh, they played "Tomb Raider" too much." "Oh, they just watch violent things sooo often."
Hey, another point: Sooooooo many feminists beg for total equality. Okay, so we'll let there be a female star in an action movie. BAM!! Instantly pins it to violence, right next to a slightly sexist comment. WTF <----(Flipper the dolphin)???
