Ah, Super Smash Bros.... it was like the impossible to get bored of game when I fist got it, then well.... I got bored of it. Still play it, very fun.

Fox is my best character, mostly because of his speed. Second, Gannodorf... completely different from Fox. Third, Yoshi he can really hang in a tough fight.

I love this game, especially the one on Gamecube. My friends and I just couldn't get enough of it and the mini-games helped it out a lot. My fighter of choice was Link but Dr. Mario was fun to use even if he was only just a alternate costume version of Mario.

I don't know about the cube Smash bros game (I only played once, as zelda who was playing as another person (?)) but on the N64, my favorite was Jigglypuff... His sleep attack was devistating... That's how I beat about everyone in Smash Bros, and pokemon as well! I had a team of wigglytuffs and just put everyone to sleep.

I never got to play this game an excessive amount, and as such I'm merely mediocre. Personally I like Kirby considerably, and use him most of the time.

Bob: you used Jigglypuff? Really? If the sleep attack (a worthless UP+B move as a jump) missed, you're open for almost anything. Even Kirby's Rock Attack, which most players will block... but I see how it could work.

On a very related topic, anyone into emulation play the HK import called "Kart Fighter" that predates Smash Bros as the first Mario themed fighting game? Ah, what fun I had with Yossy...

Care to give me any more details? What did the "Kart" have to do with anything? If this was a NES game, I might have to try to download it.

I've played this game for so long it's not even funny anymore. It was my first GC game and I still religiously duke it out with my little brother on the weekends.

My characters

1. Samus - Down A Smash is deadly. Missiles are v cool
2. MewTwo - Teleport, Shadow Ball, Disable and Confusion. Need I say more?
3. Kirby - Almost impossible to kill
4. Link - Jump Down + A is evil...
5. Peach - IS impossible to kill! She double jumps, floats, then parasols!

Actually, I find Peach a rather easy opponent. On the other hand, I have a terrible time handling Samus. Most humans waste a fraction of a second too long with her, however, and leave themselves open for a Rock Smash... speaking of that technique, I really dislike the change in Super Smash Brothers Melee.

i'm deadly with Marth; he's my favorite. the sword give him good range, and his speed and agility are the way to fight.

With the former Kirby Rock Slam, it was always the same rectangular rock. I could transform quickly, hit my opponent, skip out of the form before I hit the ground and then hit them directly. With the new technique the area Kirby hits changes sizes and I can't seem to control it as well. That's all.

Alot of the attacks are weakened too. Samus screw attack used to be MUCH stronger than it is now.

I'dl ike to take you on as Peach UC. I dodge practically everything n butt bash you into oblivion!

Personally, I refuse to talk trash about video game skill over the internet. But I'm not actually that good at the game... just moderate, as I've said before. Enough to beat most of my friends, not enough to do much against the masters.

My favorite is definitely Sheik. I've become so dependant on her disappearing move XD.

I also like to play as Peach or Marth. Sometimes I use Zelda without transforming.

I can't use Zelda or Sheik. Or the Ice Climbers. Just cant get a hang of em.

MewTwo's Teleport rocks. confusion is cool too in that it reflects shots (they dont hurt the enemy though)

I generally play as fox, or maybe falco (since the best players I know use falco I decided to try him) but I usually come back to being fox after falco's short-range fire and illusion moves wont let me recover from a fall the way fox's does :lol:

After fox/falco, I'm best with samus.

I'd call myself an advanced or even expert player, as I can beat all of my friends (yes they do own the game lol) although some of them do present a challenge. I dunno, expert might be stretching it :lol:

There is only one person I ever played who could consistently kick my butt, and he used falco. Stupid down-a attack in midair got me every time

Sheik I dont use because her skin-tight body suit is way too distracting :eh:

Well, I don't have a gamecube, so I can only play when with my friends on theirs. Because of that I've been kind of forced to pick one character and try and max myself out with him. I use Marth for his flowing movements, fairly powerful moves, and his reflect move that can stop almost anything. (He and Roy also make the c-stick very worthwile.)

My fighting style is very defensive most of the time, dodge for a while then attack while their open, and if they make a big mistake try to take as much damage off them as possible.
