Also to add to the list.
A Christmas Story
Home Alone and Home Alone 2
It's A Wonderful Life
Holiday in handcuffs (its a made for tv movie with Melissa Joan Hart and Mario López)

But my top two Christmas movies are,

Muppet's Christmas Carol

Gonzo: My name is Charles Dickens.
Rizzo the Rat: And my name is Rizzo the Rat... wait a second! You're not Charles Dickens!
Gonzo: I am too!
Rizzo the Rat: No! A blue furry Charles Dickens who hangs out with a rat?
Gonzo: Absolutely!
Rizzo the Rat: Charles Dickens was a 19th Century novelist! A genius!
Gonzo: Oh, you're too kind.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Clark: So, when did you get the tenament on wheels?
Eddie: Oh, that uh, that there's an RV. Yeah, yeah, I borrowed it off a buddy of mine. He took my house, I took the RV. It's a good looking vehicle, ain't it?
Clark: Yeah, it looks so nice parked in the driveway.
[Raises class to his mouth]
Eddie: Yeah, it sure does. But, don't you go falling in love with it now, because, we're taking it with us when we leave here next month.
[Clark nearly chokes on his drink]

Darn it, Kkun, I was hoping I'd be the only one who remembered Die Hard was set during Christmas time.

Seriously, though, The Snowman is possibly the greatest Christmas film ever made. It's also the only movie to regularly make me cry, and I'm NOT ashamed to admit it.

A Charlie Brown Christmas, the original How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and A Garfield Christmas are all right up there too (as you can see, I prefer the animated stuff)

I love It's a Wonderful Life! I also like The Kid who Loved Christmas, A Christmas Carol
(30's version and the one with Patrick Stewart), and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

Santa Claus (This is the Mexican one, where he has a bunch of kidnapped kids from around the world working for him and he beats up a demon. Yes.)

A Christmas Story

And then there's the Big O episode where Roger fights a giant mutant Chris- er, Heaven Day tree. Strangely enough, this is the only Christmas special I've seen that actually mentions the real true meaning of Christmas. (By applying it to a megalomanaical dictator who considers himself God's son...)
We are loved even though we suck.

I take it you never watched the Charlie Brown Christmas? Heck, Linus quotes Luke's gospel account of Jesus's birth almost verbatim!

2. Hogfather
3. The Muppet Christmas Carol
4. A Charlie Brown Christmas
5. It's A Wonderful Life
6. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

That's what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown.

Any Peanuts Christmas special, EVER.

I liked It's a Wonderful Life as well.

I like It's a Wonderful Life as well, but they play it on TV about ten times each year around Christmas, so it gets a bit...tiresome; and makes you never want to hear the sound of a bell ever again. XD;

And A Muppet Christmas Carol was just awesome.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one. It's been a while since I've seen it, and since I don't celebrate Christmas, I have a bit of a "bah, humbug" reaction when Christmas specials start preempting normal things, because, let's face it, there are some really bad specials out there. (I'm looking at you, Hallmark Channel.) Big O is one of the last places that I would've expected something like an explanation of Christmas, so it just surprised me.

This thread needs a poll.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, which was the best National Lampoon movie.

A Christmas Story, although I think I've watched it too many times over the years.

I pointedly left A Christmas Story out of my list. It's a great movie, but I'm tired of it. That's the risk you take with Christmas movies: they're somehow so easy to burn out on.

Especially with certain TV stations playing them for the entire day. *cough, cough TNT playing A Christmas Story all Christmas day*

The funny thing about A Christmas Story and having TNT show it all day from 8 pm Christmas Eve to 8 pm Christmas Day is. There is a lot of people that feel that it is now a tradition to having it on.

I think one year TNT was thinking about not showing it all day long and when people found out about it, they wrote letters to TNT asking for them to keep doing it.

NBC kind does a tradition with It's a Wonderful Life as they at least show it twice or more in December.

This is why I have it on dvd and watch it only at Christmas time like I do with A Christmas Story. If I watch on tv and watch it after Christmas holidays, then I may end up hating those two movies.

The bad thing is AMC is going to do the same thing with White Christmas this year. They are going to air White Christmas at 11:45 am on Christmas Eve to all the way at 1:30 am, not as bad as 24 hours A Christmas Story, but still. But the good news is AMC will then air other Christmas movies starting at 6:30 am, Prancer, Holiday Inn and A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott version)
