IC: Conri narrowed his eyes a little at the fact that Unico was tagging along, but he waved it off. "Fine. But if he causes trouble, you should know that it will fall on your shoulders." He told Kisho in more of a warning way than a threat.
When Maxine rounded the corner, she caught sight of someone in the distance. But before she could go to him, she heard Kisho calling after her. "Wha-" She turned and looked at him in an irritated way.
When she looked back in the direction of the figure, she paused. To her dismay, there was no one in sight, as if he vanished into thin air. An illusion? She bit her bottom lip and walked back to the group.
She responded to Kisho's previous question, "Nothing.." and walked passed him to stand next to her brother.

Conri waited until Maxine and Unico had joined the group, then led the way down the street. They walked a good ten minutes before Conri stopped in front of an old abandoned warehouse and turned to them. "Listen.. The gang members can be a bit.. Snappy at times, so just keep your tongue, and don't make eye contact." He led them inside after getting by two brutes, and then took them down into a secret door in the floor, which led to a long tunnel.
"I have a bad feeling about this.." Maxine mumbled under her breath.
Nathan gave her an odd look. He had heard her. "What's wrong?" He asked in a hushed tone.
She glanced up at him. "I think we're being led into the gang headquarters.." She whispered, a grim expression on her face. She couldn't believe she had willingly walked right into this, and she still hadn't talked to Kisho either.. She just had to tell him herself!
She let out a long breath and moved next to Kisho. "Hey.." She said quietly, nudging his shoulder to get his attention. "I really need to talk to you before we get in there.."

Meanwhile, two blocks down and around the corner, a man lay under a brand new Nissan 350z, adjusting the front alignment, only his legs visable from a top view.
"Tyrell, can ya pass me a wrench, bro? This one's about had it.", he called as he dropped the one he'd been using and slid it out toward his right foot.
Another slid under the front end and into his hand like it'd been practiced a thousand times. A black man, the one called Tyrell, rolled out from behind the tool kart he'd been digging through and picked up the discarded wrench, inspecting it.
"Yeah, prolly take down to Smitty's later, maybe five bucks tops."
"Yeah, maybe make a blade or two outof it. You wanna check the steering again, see where it's at?"
Tyrell answered with a "sure, man", before sauntering around to the driver side door and climbing up onto the platform on which the 350z sat and into the newly tuned car. He turned the wheel left, then right, then back again before his partner lifted his left leg to signal things were okay. Rolling out feet first, the other man stood up from his bed-on-wheels, spinning around on his feet in a typical MJ move, nodding with a smug grin at Tyrell.
Tyrell just smirked back, chuckling a little as he shook his head.
"A'ight, Jairus, you were right, all it needed was a little attitude adjustment underneath."
Jairus let the pose drop and came around to the side of the platform as Tyrell got out of the sporty little Nissan and followed him to the front desk.
"So, you up for some lunch or what?" the puma anichi asked his dark-skinned friend.
"You hafta ask?" his friend replied in mock suprise.
"I say we grab a stromboli at the food court and some pasta, savvy?"
Tyrell chuckled again, "I'm all in, baby."
As the pair clocked out for their brake, Tyrell noticed a scene out the window just down the street about a block or so away with a group of maybe eight people, one of them carrying a gun.
"Better keep it cool, Jai, might be some gang activity down the street a bit."
"They gettin' squirly?", the sandy-haired anichi asked only half-jokingly. They both knew how wild and dangerous armed gangs could be, especially in groups.
"Don't think so, looks like they headed down the other way now, prolly nuthin'."
"A'ight, then, let's grab some italian grub.", and with that, the two set off down around the corner to an open food court in the middle of the international district.

OOC: I'm going to have the team advance, since no one is posting XD
IC: Conri led the group (leaving Maxine and Kisho behind) into a large cement room that looked similar to a rec room. It had a pool table, a fridge in the corner, tables, couches, things of that nature.
It reminded Dalton of the break room in his precinct.
"The guys use this room to unwind after work. Feel free to make yourselves at home." Conri smiled at them, moving further into the room. "If any of you are tired, let me know. I'll take you to the sleeping chambers."
There were a handful of gang members in the room with them, scattered around doing their own thing. They often shot glances over at the group, but didn't seem to mind their presence.
Dalton walked over to the couch and plopped down into its soft cushions, letting out a relieved sigh. "I love this couch..."
Nathan examined the room. "This is 'your place', eh?"
"So to speak. It's the whole gangs, really." Conri answered, then lowered his voice so the other gang members couldn't hear him, "Hey, listen.. There's one thing you all need to know.. Snake has a wicked temper, so if he comes in here and starts talking to you, try not to make him angry. "
"How will we know who this 'Snake' is?" Nathan aksed.
"Trust me, you'll know."

A large, dark skinned man dressed in leather and wearing dark sunglasses casually followed two men that were walking down the street. In his right jacket pocket lay an orange envelope, apparently holding important documents, and in his left jacket pocket, lay a cleverly concealed pistol.
He stayed a good distance away from the men to avoid suspicion as he followed them to the open food court.

Unico scoffed at Siobhan's suggestion.
"Claudio was an outright imbecile, spouting ceaseless romantic nonsense one moment, yet believing in the most ridicules of incriminations..."
Unico let a very, very light smile escape his apathetic face. His sarcasm, as expected, was so well mingled with false sincerity you had to pause and consider things...
"-His scars will heal. I did not exactly maim him for life."
Unico turned his suddenly cold gaze to Kisho. It would appear that he, Kisho, was slipping further and further away from Unico's tolerance. Not that Kisho deserved such a treatment. Yet, knowing, or assuming, he shared a better relationship with Siobhan greatly angered him. Unico kept telling himself his trust in them was just too hasty, but in reality, he found he didn't want to disbelieve. Long had he spent his days traveling now... it was such an ease of burden to find a tangible being who's memories lingered upon such a past. False or not, even if proven as such, I believe Unico would still have pursued them.
"I believe I asked that question first..." Unico smiled pleasantly at Kisho, as his sharp, lithe fingers coiled around his own hair.
"Oh? What does my scorned eye perceive? Upon my surmised absence, another has seized my place at my Beloved's side."
Unico blinked in a purposely slow manner. In a tone lacking emotion, he mockingly beseeched Kisho and company.
"Oh. Thank you. Now that my life's desire has been granted, I just haven't the faintest what to wish for now." Unico hissed loudly. "-yes, you run on and tell the idiot with the gun. We absolutely must inform him, since he's so bloody important."
Unico fell in when they proceeded. Of course, Kisho's last comment wasn't ignored by him in the least. "I heard that."
He managed to roll his eye in annoyance to Conri before he embarked with more hissing, this time of a much harsher variety. Unico lived by the thought that 'just because no one is listening, doesn't mean you shouldn't talk'.
"I'm shaking at the thought. Really. It's such a pity, since I was so looking forward to causing you some trouble. Like any child, I would issue my mayhem by taking pleasure in the destruction of your toys... If you'd be so kind as to direct me to your nearest Tonka, I could begin."
The latter of his rambling was mainly due to his annoyance of being treated like a simpleton. Unico had the most gnawing desire to claw Conri's face off... Of course, this would be futile, since Conri was in possession of arms.
Still, this knowledge never relinquished his inner thoughts.

She slowed her pace slightly and gazed over at the silver-haired man who once shared so much with her. She was determined to get his memories back somehow... She just didn't know how yet...
"So, um..." She was almost at a loss for words. 'What.... I mean, where... Do you... "
She sighed heavily, mentally smacking herself for being so stupid at a moment like this.
"Ah, I'm sorry, I'm just... happy and confused at the same time, so I can't even imagine how you feel..."
Thankfully before she could blunder her words any more, they arrived at the hideout.
She immediately got a bad feeling about this...

"We gotta get out of here. If they're this close, there's a good chance that they could find us, and I'm not letting them get to you."
He packed two backpacks full of their possessions and handed Affinity hers.
"If they see us, take off running. I'll lead them off your trail."[/font]

Kisho nodded and ignored Unico, he wanted to hug the friend he had lost and slap him senseless at the same time. He gritted his teeth but smiled at Sio knowing she could defend herself. When they arrived at the hide-out he looked at Maxine when she bumped him, "sure, what's up?" he asked, standing back away from the others so they could have privacy.
He got the feeling it was the same thing Max had tried to tell him before.

IC: Maxine took in a deep breath. "Look.. I did something a long time ago-to you-that you need to know.. It's-..Something horrible that I should have never done..And.. And I'm sorry." She paused to look up at him, her eyes full of regret. She glanced at the others before continuing, noticing a familiar face walking into the room. Snake.. Her heart beat quickened.

A man dressed in red and black stepped into the room with the others, a relaxed expression on his face. "Conri." He called across the room.
Conri quickly went to his side.
"Any progress thus far?"
"I haven't found them yet, but I guarantee that you will have them by week's end."
Snake smirked and patted Conri's shoulder. "I like your confidence. It shows your strong character." He glanced at the others in the room. "I see you've brought company? Very well. It'll be nice to have new faces around for a while."
His eyes fell on two individuals that were separate from the group. He recognized them, but from where? He approached them, carrying himself in a certain sly manor and wearing his usual crooked grin.
The odd thing about Nazari was, he always had a smoothness to him, like a snake. So cunning and satirical, but no one could ever tell if he was pulling the wool over their eyes. That came in handy with him being the leader of a gang.

Dalton pushed off of the couch, and came up next to Siobhan. "Hey." He nodded towards Snake. "You think he's the head honcho everyone's talking about? He carries himself somewhat like a leader, and everyone seemed to tense when he entered the room. What do you think?"

The dark man approached Jairus and sat down at his table. "I have an offer for you. One you can't refuse." He pulled out the orange envelope and sat it in front of the anichi.
"I come on the behalf of Snake." He paused to take his sunglasses off, revealing dark eyes. "He needs you and your friend's unique skills for a certain job. You will be paid handsomely for your work, no need to worry about that. What do you say? Are you in?"

Unico gleamed in a narcissistic manner, as his eye watched Siobhan with pause.
"Oh? I found Benedict to be a rather enjoyable character. Quite honestly, closest to utter perfection in both spirit and mind." Unico cooed softly to himself.
"Such a pity he chose to pursue Beatrice... perhaps it was more tragedy then comedy that moved Shakespeare to write."
Unico softened his present glare at Kisho... just slightly.
"If that is what you truly believe, then I fear for your skills in deduction..." His voice lingered softly off, as he closed his eye and sighed. Whatever he had gotten himself into was making him quite agitated, even under such short notice. Thus, Unico had acquired the assumption that this would all end in destined chaos.
He listened quietly to Siobhan's nervous rambling... well, while it was true he was silent in tongue, Unico was never one to let his expressions and manner go without voice. Even with only a solitude eye, his criticisms of others was strikingly daunting.
"I never realized such emotions could coexist... if you must know, I feel nothing. Hollow, to be quite honest."
This, of course, was an outrages lie. Though Unico remembered nothing of their past memories together, that frequent sense of relief and desire for their very beings continued to gnaw at him.
When they finally arrived at their destination, Unico was quite surprised. Due to his never-ending chatter, he hadn't realized where they were going, or even where they were headed. This, of course, could also be partially blamed to the fact his sight was now far from perfect.
Unico's eye moved from one object of the "hideout" to another, all with equal looks of disgust.
"How utterly charming... it forces me to reminisce the living arrangements of vermin. We all know how desirable such accommodations are."
Recoiling, he placed a hand to his mouth, as if the locations very presence brought on a horrible aroma.
"Ghaa... what reeks so? It's as if there's the presence of..."
Unico ceased abruptly. His gaze, which was currently determined to death-glare anything in his path, fell suddenly on Snake. Instant loathing consumed Unico's thoughts, but that wasn't really that odd. With the exception of a very shallow amount, he always took an instant dislike to everyone. His hatred of them was something that just progressed on its own.
I suppose Unico would have continued his bickering, had not Dalton made the fatal mistake of not only approaching Siobhan, as if that wasn't shocking enough, but also foolishly engaging her in conversation. This simply would not do. Unico, in a speed most remarkable, managed to slither between Siobhan and said-offender. He answered for Siobhan in a tone seeped in venom.
"I think you need to bugger off. We could care less about your pathetic assumptions." [/SIZE]

Jairus stared back at the stranger, his face still purposfully blank to hide his confusion. I know he's done that in the past, Jairus thought to himself, but last time he did that was ten years ago, and he already served his time for that one. I've even seen his file. What does this guy know that I don't? Not knowing what to do next, Jairus folded his hands in front of himself, his elbows resting on the table at which they were sitting.
"What kind of proof?", he inquired carefully.

I need to go out." she grabbed Storm's hand and pulled him out of the house, not waiting for Jone's reply.

IC: Before Maxine could answer, Nazari had joined their group. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here." A large smile had crept across his face as he examined Maxine and Kisho. "Kisho, and the little vixen, Maxine." He gave her a playful wink, which only got a displeased look in return. "I couldn't help but overhear your conversation." A look of curiosity came over his face. "I wonder. What dirty little secret does the Rat hold this time, hm?"
Maxine narrowed her eyes at Snake. "It's none of your concern."
He folded his arms and smirked. "You of all people should know how much I displease secrets under my roof. Especially after our last encounter." He was thoroughly enjoying teasing Maxine, and she knew it. "That destructive little secret had to have been my favorite."
Maxine bit her bottom lip and subconsciously stole a look over at Kisho.
Snake cocked his head and rose an eyebrow at her sudden attitude change. He suddenly let out a quick laugh. "Oh, don't tell me you didn't tell the man how you caused the death of his relative!"
Maxine shot him a dirty look. "Shut up." She hissed.
"Oh, this is rich." He laughed again, then turned towards Kisho, placing a hand on the man's shoulder. "She really hasn't changed much, has she?"
Maxine's expression changed as she looked at Kisho. "I tried to tell you.."

The man took out another envelope and slipped a couple pictures out of it. The pictures apparently incriminated Tyrell. "Now, you could accept my offer, and I'll escort you to your next job sight. Or. You can decline, and these pictures will fall into the authorities hands. Your call."

Either this... 'man', which is used in the most liberal term for the word, was screwing with Maxine, or... it wasn't her fault in the first place.
Siobhan hoped it was the first one.
Her hands clenched as she tried her hardest to resist just plain-out attacking the disgusting person who dared mess with her friends.
She knew it wasn't very lucrative to do so, but.. it would make her day a heck of a lot better...
Siobhan's reasonable side won over as she watched the event play out. If he tried anything funny, though... she would take no responsibility for her actions.

Kisho simply stared at Nazari coldly and then his eyes narrowed, his shoulders straightened and he glared hard at Nazari, "Maxine...what's he talking about?" he didn't make any move to brush off Nazari's hand, but he felt it like lead on his shoulder. He didn't like this guy, he remembered him from somewhere but he couldn't place him and what relative? He had only had a caretaker, but even then they hadn't been related though they were the closest thing to family each other had.
Kisho's blood went cold, he knew that no matter what Max wouldn't--couldn't ever hurt someone he had cared for. Kisho shrugged Nazari's hand off finally and stepped back glaring, "I don't know who you are, or what you are talking about. But why don't you just leave us alone?" his voice was cold and his eyes serious.
Chaucer started to move toward them, ignoring Dalton and he gave a swift glance at Nate to tell him to help out if needed. He stepped a little closer and waited, if anyone so much as hurt Max or Kisho he would interfere.

Spring raced down the street, not entirely sure where she was going, all she knew was that she felt Chaucer and she had to get to him, tears welled in her eyes as she thought of the ten lonely years after she had gotten seperated from Sio at the orphanage. If she had her chance now, she would take it, even though they were now in gang territory.

She let the smile fade, if anything happened to them, they would take it together. But lately she had been feeling a strong tug in a certain direction and she didn't know if she should follow it or not, she would never follow the pull without Azrael, but it might be best to tell him. Affinity bit her bottom lip, she was afraid to say anything because she couldn't really describe it herself.

Spring raced down the street, not entirely sure where she was going, all she knew was that she felt Chaucer and she had to get to him, tears welled in her eyes as she thought of the ten lonely years after she had gotten seperated from Sio at the orphanage. If she had her chance now, she would take it, even though they were now in gang territory.

Affinity smirked, "no I don't really listen to anyone." she stepped past him, "well, at least you still have some of you manners." she smiled and walked ahead of him. She let the smile fade, if anything happened to them, they would take it together. But lately she had been feeling a strong tug in a certain direction and she didn't know if she should follow it or not, she would never follow the pull without Azrael, but it might be best to tell him. Affinity bit her bottom lip, she was afraid to say anything because she couldn't really describe it herself.

Jairus' eyes widened slightly as he looked at the proof before him. There was no mistaking Tryell's face or the parsel he appeared to be passing to the haggared-looking young woman in an ally way. Though the photo looked a bit dated, Jairus knew it was from after his years in jail.
Looking back at the thug who was now smirking at him from across the table, Jairus brushed his blue-tipped blond hair away from his face saying "Alright, we'll comply. What is it your boss wants from us?", keeping his voice low so as not to attract any unnessecary attention from other tables.

Being dragged by spring down the street as she ran with tears in her eyes. Storm could only run faster to make sure that nothing made spring fall or anything. Unico, of course, paid Siobhan's request little heed, as he answered Dalton in a tone ever-so-sweet.
"Perhaps. I believe they linger somewhere between the fact you're an imbecile, or that you simply exist to annoy. Both are excellent and plausible conclusions, however."
Unico took the moment to dwell in his enjoyment. Though not visible in any physical way, he seemed to relinquish the notion of making life more tiresome for others. I suppose he would have smiled, but such foolishness had long past died.
Unico did manage to watch Siobhan, as her expression twisted into that which is seeped in frustration. She seemed genuinely peeved that Snake was annoying her friends... which Unico found irritating. His spoken words where more so a whisper, uttered so softly, you wondered if anyone had spoken at all.
"I find it ill favor that so few words from that of nothing, can stir your temper so. Do I lack that which is required of you to be counted worthy?"
Unico brushed his hand up into his hair, thrusting the silver locks back gently. He slipped past Siobhan and Dalton with ease, due to his naturally lithe form.
Unico had heard the conversation of the others quite clearly, but since it neither interested nor involved him, he cared little. Yet, this feeling that everyone else was in the know, and Unico was not, infuriated him.
This disturbance between Kisho and that women, (oh, and that man) had gone on long enough. Unico, in his determined arrogance, was going to end it. Unico made his way to be at Kisho's side, his shoulders tight, he hissed his words with untamed malice.
"Oh, for heaven's sake. This isn't some sort of horrid drama! If this women is a killer, then so be it. It doesn't effect our current circumstance, so who bloody cares? Perhaps if you ceased your flirting with Kisho, you would be able to see such an obvious thing."[/SIZE]

Nazari ignored him. "How unusual. Normally, I leave a lasting impression on my friends." He commented. "Remember the name Nazari?"
Maxine glanced at the others, noticing all eyes were on them. She cringed.
"Kisho.. Do you remember the.. Incident that happened that caused you to leave the gang?" She paused. "It was my fault.. I was the one that told the gang leader where she was..I-I didn't know he would-.." Her voice faded. "You have no idea how many times I wanted to tell you, but I could never bring myself to it. I hoped it'd just be forgotten, but when I found out we were coming here, I knew I had to tell you the truth.."
Unico's words caught her off guard. They stung deeply, but she quickly covered her hurt expression with sheer anger. She clenched her jaw and took two steps closer to him. She couldn't take his attitude any longer. "How dare you charge in here and say such things! You-you arrogant, self righteous jerk! You've been mouthing off this whole freaking time!" She fumed at him, coming closer to where she was looking up into his eyes. "If you want to leave, then so be it, but so help me, if you say one more thing about me or one of my friends, you're dead."
The anger she expressed wasn't totally Unico's fault. It was partially the situation, and the stress it caused her. She finally got enough courage to tell Kisho, and she was shot down by this big headed weakling. And there was just something about Unico that made things so much more amplified. He rubbed her the wrong way.
Nazari was annoyed by Unico. He moved in between Maxine and Unico and put a hand on the other reptiles shoulder. "Listen, why don't you just go over there, and be quiet before you lose a limb or two? Maxine's bite is much worse than her bark. Trust me, I should know." A somewhat cruel smile came across his face.

Dalton kept an even smirk as he listened to Unico. His words didn't phase him in the least. Before he could deliver a witty comeback, Unico quickly slipped away top cause more trouble. He was starting to think that that was that man's whole purpose.
Nate took long strides towards Maxine and Unico. If Maxine didn't uppercut Unico, he just might.

"We need you to construct a dozen custom weapons for us." He pushed one of the envelopes closer to Jairus. "Most of the details you need are in there." He grabbed the other envelope that had the pictures, and put it in his coat as he stood. "We shouldn't keep the boss waiting."

A red headed man watched as two young adults started moving through the dark alley. He cut them off. "Well, what do we have here?" Another man blocked off the path behind them, trapping them.

IC:Kisho felt ridged when Unico came over, he usually muddled things. Kisho clenched his jaw, "Nazari." he hissed, "I do remember you." A rage boiled inside of him like none he had ever felt not even when his demon had attacked him. Kisho looked at Unico, "thank you for you two cents." he said coolly before looking at Maxine.
"Max...Is what you say true?" he was solid, holding perfectly still, he didn't know what he would do or say if she confirmed it though she had just said it. His heart beat fast and clenched like a hand was tightened around it. He waited, begging her with his eyes to tell him that this wasn't true.
OOC: Oh yeah, I have a picture of Kisho!! :3 Kisho!!

Chaucer's head snapped up as if he had heard an invisible message, he turned his head and sniffed, "Spring." he released Dalton and pushed passed Unico, Kisho, Maxine and Nazari.
"Chaucer?" Kisho seemed barely aware of him.
Chaucer ignored him and stuck his head out the door smelling deeply, 'It is her...and she's not alone.' He held still, 'Could this be a trap?' he didn't know what to do, he didn't want to leave Kisho and the rest to Nazari and his gang. 'Spring...'

Jairus' heart sank. He and Tyrell had quite a few connections where they could get weapons and parts and even ammunition, although most of them were connections they'd rather forget. With the proof this guy had, though, it was either that or face the possibility of Tyrell going back to prison. Plus, this thug probably wasn't one to take no for an answer so easily and there was no telling where he stood in the gang's heirarchy. Bowing his head for a moment in defeat, Jairus rubbed his neck as he lifted his head again. Meeting Tyrell's gaze with a wary expression, he nodded at the tall messanger indicating they would follow him before rising from his chair to follow the tall, dark stranger, himself. Tyrell stuffed the strombolis into a take out bag and caught up with Jairus. "What's the scoop?", he asked is friend in a low whisper. "Snake wants us to make some weapons for him and his gang", Jairus replied, "and to top it off, they've got picture of you dealin' drugs right after you got the boot from the slammer."
Tyrell looked at him as if he'd just ratted him out. "Are you serious??", he hissed, his eyes wide as his eyebrows shot up. "Man, I thought nobody saw that! What was it, a picture or somethin'??"
Jairus only nodded slowly, the two of them still following tall-dark-n-creepy down the street. Tyrell's face was a mask of utter bewilderment and horror as he followed up with "man..." before he, too fell silent. There would be no way out unscathed from this.

Kisho couldn't move, couldn't breathe, couldn't think...black dots appeared in his eyes as he tried to comprehend what he was hearing. The reason his mother had died...was because Maxine had told Nazari. The black dots slowly faded as his mind ripped with pain and his insides burned, even if it wasn't directly Nazari who had killed her...
A deep chuckle resounded inside his head and Kisho flinched, knowing now what had been missing...for ten years his beast had been silent and now.. now it was back.
"Let me kill him Kisho...you know you want him dead." Phantom whispered, his dark cat face appearing in Kisho's mind. He gritted his teeth, wanting to release Phantom onto Nazari. But if he did that then others would die too.
"Kisho." the voice purred, "Let me out... let me take revenge for what happened to her, let me kill him!" Phantom snarled.
Kisho was barely aware of the tears that were starting to fall down his cheeks as he struggled not to give in to Phantom, to give into the hate that was coming to the surface. He felt his teeth grow and his ears pop out from his head and nails sharp and long grow from his fingers, a tail twitched behind him and his hair stood on end. The rage was blinding. All he could see was his mother...covered in blood and Nazari smirking.
"KILL HIM!" Phantom shouted.
Kisho lunged and slammed Nazari to the ground, pinning him under his bulk and snarling fiercly. His raised his claws to take the killing blow.
"That's right! Do it! Kill him, he deserves it! Give in to the anger." Phantom whispered. Kisho froze and an image of his Mother smiling appeared.
'No..Mom wouldn't want me to kill him.' Kisho pushed Phantom away and slowly got off Nazari, though it took every muscle in his body to do it. "You aren't worth it." he whispered, but his eyes flashed with an unnatural color, Phantom tried to push out enraged by Kisho's "weakness" but Kisho wouldn't allow it.
He turned to look at Maxine, shifting back to his human side. Pain was evident in his silver-blue eyes.

Spring winced as the man seized her, but she didn't fight him, "Fine...I'll see this man and when you find out we aren't the ones he is looking for you'll have to let us go." she sounded braver than she felt, inside she was terrified of the men. "Storm, don't fight them...they'll see." she said smiling weakly at Storm.

Nazari didn't have time to react before Kisho knocked him to the ground, his full weight on his chest, pushing the air out with an "OOF!" It took him a couple seconds to regain his breath. "K-Kisho, what are you doing?" He tried keeping his voice level as he raised his arm to block. When he looked into Kisho's eyes, he saw something there that startled him.
"Kisho!" Maxine shouted, stunned. Her eyes widened with fear for Nazari. She wanted to pull him off of Nazari, but fear kept her in her place.
Conri and Nathan rushed to Kisho, neither wanting any blood to be spilled.
Conri grabbed Kisho's raised arm as Nathan tried prying the man off.
Both backed off when Kisho came to his senses and got up.
"What got into you, man?" Nathan asked, still jumpy.

It took Nazari a good couple seconds to come to his senses and get off the ground (with Conri's help). His heart was still pounding as he looked at Kisho with a weary eye. Could this really be the one?
"Sir, are you alright?" Conri asked, looking worried.
"Uh, I-" He staggered, not being able to focus his mind. He waved it off. "I-uh.. Excuse me. Something has come to my attention." With that, he turned on his heals and went back into the room he had come from.
Maxine just stood there, watching Kisho, his cheeks were still wet from the tears. Her heart felt like it was going to shatter as she looked into his eyes. She swallowed tears that threatened to escape as she turned her gaze to the ground. She was so confused. Does she go to Kisho and try to comfort him, risking another outburst? Does she just leave him until the dust settles? She let out a heavy sigh as she looked back at Kisho with timid eyes, then glanced at Nazari who was leaving. She looked at Kisho once more before turning to follow after Nazari. She had to talk to him..
She quickened her pace to keep up with Nazari. The man moved so swiftly, it was hard to keep track of him, and his footsteps were virtually silent.
He finally stopped in his office and turned to her. "Why are you following me?"'
"I need to ask you something."
He waved his hand. "Make it quick."
Maxine paused, gathering herself. "Were you the one that.. Killed his mother?"
Nazari raised an eyebrow at her. "Of course not. I was only a child when it happened. Why?"
She let out a sigh of relief. "I just wanted to make sure if he had a reason to kill you. I'm-glad he doesn't."
Nazari gave her a confused look. "Good to know someone's looking out for me." He smirked. "But I'm more worried about you. What'll stop Kisho from doing away with you?"
Maxine shook her head. "Kisho isn't the one I'm worried about.."
He gave her an inquisitive look. "And who, might I ask, are you worried about?"
She diverted her gaze. "I should get back.."
Nazari put a hand on her arm to stop her. "He has the phantom cat, doesn't he."
Maxine furrowed her brow as she looked back up at him. "Why don't you ask him." She pulled her arm away.
He put his hands up defensively. "Alright, alright." Jackpot.

The redhead smirked. "Glad you see things our way. Now let's go." The two men lead them down the alley and into an abandoned ware house.

The dark man lead the two down the street and into an abandoned warehouse not to ofar from their shop. "This way." He lead them past the other gang members and into a long tunnel.
"Kisho!" Maxine shouted, stunned. Her eyes widened with fear for Nazari. She wanted to pull him off of Nazari, but fear kept her in her place.

"I don't like this", Jairus thought to himself as he and Tyrell followed their shady messanger down the tunnel. As they came further down the corridoor, they heard a commotion and a somewhat familiar snarling came from the doorway near the end of the hall. Jairus' cougar ears became slightly visible as he recognized it and stopped dead in his tracks, becoming more alert. Tyrell and the gang member both froze in place at the sound as well, unsure of what to do next. After a few breathless moments, the muffled brewhaha seemed to subside, leaving the corridoor quiet once again. Jairus turned to his two companions, put a finger to his lips and slowly lowered himself onto all fours before slowly crawling catlike toward the doorway, not making a sound. Upon reaching the door, he stopped and edged his way close to the base, sniffing the air in the other side. As he inhaled a mix of scents his breath caught in his throat; he recognized at least half a dozen of them, scents he'd not smelled for at least ten years, one in particular that he wasn't fond of. "Nazari...", he whispered to himself remembering, "...but what are they doing here?" Standing slowly to his feet, Jairus turned to Tyrell and the gang member and beckoned them to follow before carefully turning the handle on the door and flinging it open to find Kisho standing before him, a deeply pained look on his face as tears continued to flow down his cheeks. Taking a look around, Jairus almost backed into Tyrell before asking "Are...we interupting something?"

Storm smiled kindly at spring. All the while trying to think of a way to get away from the man and his gang if anything bad happened.'I hope nothing bad happens.'thought storm to himself as the man lead them down a tunnel to his gang members.
