Yeah. I liked it.
It was a bit slow initially, but it picks up. It has a likable cast, and the battles look fairly epic in scope. It's almost too overambitious for its own good actually. But if you like science fiction/space opera, I'd recommend it.

As a side-note, the guy who created this show, Tow Ubukata, also did Le Chevalier D'Eon and the scripts for the last half of Fafner apparently.

Just finished Darker than Black, minus the bonus episode. Wonderful, wonderful show, I can't wait to see the bonus episode then the new series. Sad though, definitely sad.

Haaaay, I been watchiiiiing. I'm up to 17 and it's pretty darn good so far.

Glad to hear the ending isn't ruined. I usually avoid Xebec like the plague but Heroic Age is an exception.

I liked Heroic Age as well. Gorgeous animation (if you like Makoto Shinkai's scenery and skyscapes, you will love the aesthetic in this anime) and a pretty decent plot. My only complaint was that Age spent so much time in his Nodos battling epic-ly that we hardly get to know him at all. But, if you love big mech battles, you'll get your fill here!

Yes, Darker than Black was awesome.

Although with a name like that, it was a given that the series would be sad.

Just finished Heroic Age. Totally gets a 8/9 out of me, it did a lot of things right that anime usually does wrong. It has a few flaws, mainly Xebec's use of stock footage but the good certainly outweighs any bad. I need to get my hands on the soundtrack too, the music is friggin' amazing.

So, Blacker than Blacker than Black. The first half was some worrisome high school antics, but those happy times collapsed pretty quickly into darker territory. Nice to see some more familiar characters this early. I have doubts that this season will conclude anything, though. Should be an interesting watch like DtB was. Oh, and the new girl is played by Kana Hanazawa, while August 7's character design looks exactly like Cornelius Alba from Kara no Kyoukai 5, I am not even kidding.

Was it just me or did Tanya look an awful lot like Amber from DtB and Takano from Higurashi no naku koro ni?

On that note, I love the new characters, but why in the world is Hei acting like such a dirtbag?(and he hasn't shaved or cut his hair in a while).

Darker Than Black: Ryuusei No Gemini.

Well, I would be watching it (or more accurately, understanding it), but for some foolish reason I've decided to go without subs in an attempt to learn Japanese faster.

Yeah... It isn't helping as much as I would like. Ah well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Almost finished with the first season of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I'd watched the first episode (not the movie they made - the actual introduction of Haruhi and Kyon, etc...) a while ago and was rather underwhelmed, but I gave it another chance, and now I can see why there are so many people who adore this series. Kyon's my favorite thing about this - I love his snarky narration of all the crazy things Haruhi forces everyone into.

It has surpassed FMA as my favorite anime. The manga of FMA is better than Gurren by a teensy hair, but only that.

I have finished watching Witch Hunter Robin today.:sniffle:
Don't take that smilie the wrong way, it was a great series, but I personally have seen endings that I've been somewhat happier with.
(Not that the ending was bad, but I was still confused about a few things, but maybe that's just me. Besides, I get almost the same "shocked" sort of feeling every time I finish a series, the sort of "Wow... that's it...?" feeling.)
