Guten Tag!

Hello everyone,
Well I've been a fan of animation in general for sometime now but only got into the anime thing for the last few years. I've watched a ton of shows since then and can say I tend to prefer the more "slice of life" and slow paced shows. A good comedy is always welcomed too. My Top 5:

#1 Haibane Renmei
#2 Spice and Wolf
#3 The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
#4 Code Geass
#5 FullMetal Alchemist

I also very much love the soundtracks to most anime. In fact my anime soundtrack collection has even outgrown my movie soundtrack collection. Play a few notes of any song and I can prolly tell you what anime it came from. :red:

Besides anime I like to do pixel art (Kao ani), make 3-d kites, fly fish, and general nerdy stuff like robotics and atari 2600 collecting.

Well that's pretty much me in a nutshell. . .

Took a peek at your profile. Wow we have a lot in common. You like fly fishing (although I suck) anime, piano, and you're a mechanical draftsman! (I assume you mean the drafting of mechanisms, not that you look like Al Elric using a CAD system. This _is_ an anime site, so I feel I must specify.) Not a drafter anymore, but it's how I put myself through engineering school.

Somewhat different Anime tastes, but Haibane Renmei rocks, so it's all good. CAA ni Youkoso, friend.

They never finished it. They were going to conclude with a feature length film but there was disagreement with the writers.

Ah, cool. A fellow engineer. I'm studying for my B.S. I sux at fly fishing too compared to those Power-bait can of worms fisherman. :eyeroll: :lol: I prefer Scar but Al works too. haha
