While waiting for some of the newer animu I've been watching, I decided to pick up a couple of things, a few I've dropped here and there, yada yada.

Been catching up on CANAAN lately and so far, it's enjoyable if you like sweet action and crazy crap. A lot of objectionable content though.

Also.. I'm trying to watch Gundam 00 again. This time sub, and I much prefer the sub, but still. I may end up dropping this again.

That's pretty much it for now, I'm still waiting for moar Spice and Wolf and Hetalia.

Finished up Last Exile the other night. It stayed nice and pretty up to the end, but BOY was the plot poorly told. I actually had to go read a plot summary of the show after it was over to figure out a lot of stuff the show itself never explained.

Just finished Full Metal Panic episode 17.
This three-parter was the best part of the series. I usually despise it when they kill off a whole unit, like they did with all the Gunmen pilots in TTGL, but I thought it added to it. The part at the end with Sousuke and Kaname was the icing on the cake.
Just about to start episode 18!

Just finished Kamichu! and Pretear. There were other anime I was planning to watch, but after finishing Cowboy Bebop, decided I wanted something completely different, to sort of cleanse the palate, if you know what I mean. I do believe I succeeded.

Wyntre Rose (post: 1345431) wrote:Finished Cowboy Bebop. :wow!: Glad I stuck with it. I think the episodes that showed hints of the pasts of the crew members were the most gripping to me, personally. Which explains why Ballad of Fallen Angels made me keep going. Gren's reveal in Jupiter Jazz nearly made me give it up altogether (if you've seen it, you know exactly what I'm talking about, if not I won't spoil it for you) until I realized what it really was, and now that story arc is one of my favorites. The ending was pretty mind blowing, and honestly, it left me with a lot of questions, but somehow I don't want to know the answers. Which is VERY unusual for me. I usually like loose ends neatly tied up by the end of a series/movie. I guess it's just part of the experience.

All in all, a very good series. I can see now why so many people say it's the best anime out there. I dunno if you can really say I've been "converted" or not Maokun - it's not my all time favorite anime or anything - but I did enjoy the ride. ]

If you laughed at Speak Like a Child but cried at the end of the episode, I'll consider you converted :P

FMA: Brotherhood episodes 22-23. Possibly my favorite story arc is coming up in the next episode!

I've been watching The Big O, and I've been thoroughly enjoying it, and while I like the giant robot action, it feels tacked onto the complex psychological film-noir plot, rather than being a seamless part of it.

I found it extremelly slow and tame. Not bad... just not exactly remarkable.

I funnily enough, just started on Bleach. The library bought the few first volumes so I decided to give it a try.

I finished Samurai Champloo episode 7 earlier this week. I'm up to episode 23 of FMA: B, and yesterday I watched episode 7 with my brother. I also watched Ghost in the Shell. Great movie, I just wish Netflix had the sub on Instant Watch, instead of the dub. =/

Just finished ep 12 of Canaan, only one episode left and I have no idea how they're going to end this. The suspense is killing me.

Also, one moar ep left for Spice and Wolf II. My patience is taking a direct hit here.

Yeah, I'm wondering how Spice and Wolf II is going to be ending. It sure would be terrible if the entire season ended on a cliffhanger.

Finished RahXephon, and my head is still spinning...Once I've finished all the new anime I just got, I'm going to have to give this one another go. I'm sure there were an awful lot of nuances that completely sailed over my head because I was desperately trying to piece everything together to just figure out what the heck was going on...
