Good times indeed...did you ever figure out why most of the original Digidestined wore gloves like 99% of the time? Seriously, I look back and I'm like "Your hands have GOT to be sweaty!"

Anyway...enough nostalgia for me. I'm currently watching "Mushi-shi" Episode 25 "Eye of Fortune, Eye of Misfortune". This is the perfect unwind animé.

Shakugan no Shana Second completed

I'm adding Turbulent Ungula to titles that probably made more sense in the original Japanese.

Just watched episode 1 of Darker Than Black on Comcast. I had no idea what to expect, but from the sound of it, it was probably another "good vampire vs. evil vampires" series. But it's not like that at all, and it's really quite good.

I'm watching the savior of arkaline. It's a work in progress that my friend is making. VERY good drawings and stuff like that. ^^

Coincidentially I also just re-started it. I had been watching it many years ago with my now es-girlfriend and for one reason or the other, we stopped watching around the half of the series. Now I'm starting to fall in love again with it.

Wow, it's been a while since I last updated this.. I've finished Ergo Proxy. What an incredible series. I've reached episode #17 of FMA: Brotherhood and #17 of Phantom. They each have a few more out, I just haven't gotten around to watching them yet. I'm also as episode 18/19 of Le Chevalier D'eon, another awesome show.

Oh, and last night I watched Pom Poko. ^_^

I finished Gundam 0083 last night. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought it would. The highlight was seeing GP01, GP02a, and GP03 in action and seeing their origins. Otherwise, the characters all irritated me and were fairly one-dimensional. And while this might be true for most Gundam protagonists, they usually have 50 episodes to change, whereas Uraki had 13 episodes and only got better at piloting.

Saiunkoku Monogatari Season 1 [FINISHED]

After three years, I finally finished SaiMono. I don't know what took me so long! It was excellent.

The ending was so cute and
I'm glad Shuurei hasn't decided to love Ryuuki, at least not yet. It's nice to see a female character who cares more about her dreams and making the world a better place than about love.
Fruits Basket is amazing.

I've mostly been watching the Sailor Moon SuperS season so I can finish it up fast. I'm wanting to start watching something else though.... Only one episode of Bleach and I'm done with this season. I should get around to that some time soon....

Now that the Suruga Monkey arc is over, I return to heap more praise on Bakemonogatari, in the hopes that more people start watching it. Why aren't you watching it yet? It's amazing.

A common complaint about Mayoi Snail was that it was heavy on dialogue and action was absent. Of course, that was until the amazing resolution to the arc that blew everyone away. Still, that doesn't fix the action part. Suruga Monkey fixes that. We get two instances of Ararararagi getting brutally beaten down (no, really) and if what I hear is true, it makes me want to see Kizumonogatari (Koyomi Vamp) animated. And as usual, great dialogue (fantastic foreshadowing and callbacks), and again, especially from Senjougahara.

I just finished episode 168, why is that Heiji episodes are always awesome?
Also watched another Allison and Lillia episode yesterday.

Fiiiinally watching... Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

<3<3<3<3<3 I totally didn't expect it to live up to the hype. It's hard, you know, to live up to "EMBODIMENT OF AWESOME". But... yeup. So, so great. Kamina is just as awesome as promised - but I also adore Simon and Yoko (which is saying something, since I usually dislike fanservice-girls... Yoko is just cool though). Viral is pretty awesome too.

I'm seven episodes in... >___>;;;;

Eps 9-13 of Excel Saga. It definitely has its ups and downs. The ups are the parodies (and, of course, Pedro) the downs are the rest of the contrived episodic plots.

Finished Baccano! :wow!:

Still going back and forth over whether or not my enjoyment of the story and characters (which by the way is considerable) is enough to make up for the unease, nay, repulsion I felt over the violence. Which was less in quantity than I was expecting, though the quality was just as gory as I'd been led to believe...

This may also partly be colored by the fact that the other series I'm working through right now is Hikaru no Go, which is suitable for all ages, whereas Baccano, amazing as it is, is rated TV MA for very good reason. The contrast between the two is pretty severe.

Lovely Complex...

It's bringing back some memories, but besides that... holy crap... biggest trap of ALL time.

At least give it an adam's apple, but that would make the surprise less so.
