You know the funny things was I saw the show first, liked it, then read the manga and saw how much better it was, then suddenly hated the show. Still liked Kizuna though.

Too bad that series never went anywhere. I thought it had potential and the character design was gorgeous, though I was badly irked by the absurd gratuitousness of the female protagonist's neko ears.

Those Neko ears were what got me interested. mostly because the episode I first saw, she hid them and I was surprised when they were revealed.

The first one is funny, but I cannot fathom why would you expect Metantei Conan to be like FMA 0_o nor why it seemed Fruits Basket-y to you

I think he's referring to the relative quality of the dubs. :B
