Does anyone know any websites that display asian hair styles?

Postby WhiteMage212 » Fri Aug 07, 2009 10:16 pm

So i'm trying to find some hair styles for myself that are asian, but it has been hard to find any hair styles. So does anyone know of a good web site that has asian (i prefer japanese) and american hair styles? P.S. if anyone wants to ask for hair advice, then you may post here for help. '-'

You probably already know this, but if you're not Asian, the cuts might look a bit different on you, since Asian hair has a different texture.

I got cursed with this awful kinky Italian hair and boy do I wish I were Asian sometimes, lol.
I really want to get it thermally straightened, but it's such a guilt trip to spend a fortune on something as fleeting as hair...

there isn't much of a difference for asian hair. just how they style it. some mayhave more extreme styles then others. anyway, the genetic makeup isn't too different.

I dunno. My Chinese Friend has the best hair. But I love my Korean hair well enough. We both look like J-Rockers... sort of... well when I haven't cut my hair for a few months I do. Well we've played a couple concerts together, and they say we look like J-Rockers. But because I don't have what he has, I like his better. I'm sure I could look like some guy from nightmare, but my Mom doesn't like my hair when its over my eyes, so I kind of stop there.

But look, you gotta get what looks good on you. And Philipino... is... around asian... sort of. Well the good thing about hair is it grows back. I got a haircut last week and I'm not happy, so I won't be at the barber for a while. And then I'll look like

FYI, its Filipino not Philipino.

Philipino sounds like someone from south Philly and not from the Republic of the Philippines.

i knew i spelled wrong! I plan to cut my hair in time for school then grow it out again so i can find a good long hairstyle. If i chose to, i could make myself look like a j-rocker, but not until i get better at guitar ^_^ .

Ooh site is awesome. And just in time for a haircut =w=

Oh yeah! So, my guy friend has pretty long Asian hair that he puts in a ponytail, but it's kind of otaku-y and not that stylish. What's a good way to handle that, do you think?

LOL. I look so bad in a ponytail. you're right. It's like an Otaku... I figure that if I want to do what I want, you grow out all of your hair, and then cut the back so it's not like a mullet, and thin out the rest of your hair so it doesn't get bushy. Or something... Seeing as my haircut is only 10 bucks, I've never been able to try it... and my Mom just smiles and tells the barber to do the exact opposite of what I asked. My last hair cut was horrible...

Yeah, guys with long hair are the best when it's clean and stylish hahaha. Mullets and bushy hair are bweh.

Ugh, I hate parents' hairstyle fashion sense! My mom keeps trying to get me to expose my forehead because she swears it looks "more beautiful. " Yeah, maybe in 1960 or something! Sure, it's kind of a social construct, but perception of beauty totally does rely on fashion, else I'd be going around with my tshirt tucked into rolled-up shapeless jeans, while sporting a mullet and thick-framed bifocals =P

being homeschooled, i have seen familys like that who make their kids wear something that was from who knows what day and age! their was this one family that had their 18 year-olds look like the cave men in those geico commercials. i'm serious! it must have been their father because he also looked like cave man sorta. thank goodness my parents wern't like that.

Oh and there's my friend who has an emo cut, but his left side is a buzz cut. It's awesome. But since he's so tall, it sticks out and people look at him weird.

I'd try something like that, long on the top, short on the sides, but i'm going just go with something short, but with an asian flare.

Oh you mean like rattails? I actually think that's kind of cute on small boys; my cousin's kid has one and it makes him look more lively I guess. But to each his own ^^

some looks look good on certain people or they just don't look good at all. But i guess it depends what point of view one comes from; like art, ut their is a point to wear some trends just never look good at any time whatsoever.

okay, haven't cut my hair cut yet, but now I'm looking for a hair cut that I Believe is german. it's short on the sides and somewhat long in the middle ( long enough to cover some of the forehead).
